Yeah, but what about the other types of fights (Range vs Mage, etc.)? And with the high hits with new prayers (and with new weapons and other stat boosters to come), fights could turn into pure luck. That's where the hit boost would come in. To make PvP a better balance of luck and timing your clicks (you can't really call Runescape a game of skill). Re-read the quote you quoted please. Fights are never pure luck, even with these hits, if people figure out how to run and eat rather than stand there with their hands in their mouths they wouldn't mind a 4x-4x hit, also there is prayer and better food coming out, maybe a hp boosting pot might be nice though. Runescape takes less skill than scooping up cat litter, so I don't mind the current settings and I say this as a player that spends all his time either in wilde or making money to go into wilde. No, I'm not a weakling with 8x 8x 8x stats or a pure either. Edit: Who moved this to rants? It's a discussion or at least debate club!

What's interesting is that all of the weapons you mentioned are melee weapons. So let's look at the scenarios: 1: Melee vs. Melee: Every game has luck to it, so it'll be a fast battle and timing pots and eats, so what? RS wasn't made for 10 minute pot battles, so quick is good. 2: Melee vs. Range: Melee can hit much much higher than range, but if the ranger has any brains he'll realize he can ice and walk a stop and shoot and eat up. 3: Melee vs. Magic: Same as vs. Range but easier since the mage will most likely be ancient anyways. No real difference IMO.

You have a signature, no need to look like a pompous fool. Yes, PK can't make money that well, however it is FUN! Every other skill is just, one click here, one click there, no challenge IMO, and last I checked, games are supposed to be fun, not boring grindfests that seem like chores, wow this is a long run-on.

I have no idea what drove you to do that to your own sig above, but undo it, it looks worse. As for the original, I don't think you even scratched CS, make it smoother on the rough texture. Sound weird? It should. Right now you have pixelated grays on top of your background, change it to more of a yellow/brown tint, and then blur it A LITTLE!!!!!! Do it with a filter, not the blur tool! You want a even blur, not random blurs. Blur tool is for very small areas.

Well I have over 10 sig requests I have to get to on this forum and two other forums I'm a part of to test my skills, wanted a little practice first as I've been on Image Ready for a while, anyways I wanted to work with lighting a little, nothing too fancy. Quick Intro to this- No render lighting every lighting you see here is hand made by me except what was in the original stock from SC2. Cut out the stock, bucketed the background dark blue, and linear dodge, color dodge, overlay, screen, darken, lighten, color burn, linear burn, blah blah blah a bit of erasing and I got my puffy dark blue background. This was opacity testing for me basically, a bit of brushing, so I didn't really do anything else. Threw in a text for both sig & avy, didn't bother with border or other details and voila: Off to other fundamental stuff, and requests.

Pet peeve everywhere.
