Perm Muted?
I'd just be as honest and sincere as possible. There aren't really any key words or phrases to say that will increase your chances of being unmuted (that I know of, anyway). Good luck :)

Any Computer Programmers?
I'm currently taking an AP Computer Science class at my high school and learning Java  I'm one of two people in the class, and oddly enough, we're both girls. Not quite what you'd expect.

Skill Capes vs. Quest Skill Cape
And having over 100m gp isn't awesome? Earning that much money isn't a feat to be proud of? You have be pretty darn determined and patient to make that much gp. There is very little point in getting almost any skill to 99. How is 99 farming any more useful than 85, which is all you need to plant the highest level thing. How is 99 slayer any more useful than 90, which is the highest level you need to kill the highest slayer monster. How is 99 woodcutting any more useful than 82? Sure you may cut logs a little faster, but it's not like it's a very good money maker. See what I'm getting at? For many skills, there is very little usefulness in getting level 99. Usefulness isn't why people get 99s - they get it to max out a skill. So you're basically arguing that questers are more intelligent than your average RuneScape player? And what about those of us who hate questing but do all sorts of calculations to figure out the best way to train a skill? Or what about the people who spend their time figuring out things like combat formulas? Are you going to argue that those people are all questers too, because of their intelligence? A "skiller or indeed general player" is perfectly capable of figuring out that a leaf-bladed sword has a higher stab rating than a d long. Of course a SKILLER would have no business knowing that, but I'm sure that someone who is dedicated to training combat would certainly bother to figure that out. I'm not saying everyone would, but I certainly know quite a few people who would. Being a quester does not necessarily make you more intelligent than a "general player." And a skiller can master skills, which is certainly an "area of the game" and a quester may have no idea of. A skiller can figure out the most efficient methods of training and learn their skill in and out. yes no, not really, it's not hard to click a lot. You're right, it's not. Then all of RuneScape must be pretty darn easy since it's all just clicking. If getting level 99 is just a bunch of clicking, go out and get a 'difficult' 99 then come back. Level 99 skills take an incredible amount of patience and determination. It's so easy to burn out and want to give up, so just sticking with the skill is already a feat. ------------------------------------------------------ I don't think you can say that skill capes are better than quest capes or vice versa. You have to take the actual skill into consideration. Which is more impressive: 99 cooking or completing all quests? I think we can all agree that the skill cape is more impressive in this instance. But now which is more impressive: 99 runecrafting or a quest skill cape? Or even 99 construction or a quest skill cape? Making over 100m from scratch is no walk in the park either. And just to address this point: yes it's impressive if you don't use guides when completing quests, but then you have to take the skilling equivalent into consideration. Example: comparing someone who has had a party hat from the dawn of time, decides to sell it and buy 99 prayer with someone who makes ~100m from scratch. Or comparing someone who buys 99 crafting with someone who collects each and every hide by themselves and then gets 99 crafting. There are multiple ways to train each skill. For buyables, they're usually categorized into the "expensive but fast" method and the "cheap but slow" method. Now it doesn't necessarily take more physical skill or intelligence to train a different way, but that's why I called it the skilling equivalent. It requires a lot more time, patience and dedication. I know people who have spent upwards of six months working on the same skill. And I, personally, have been working on 99 runecrafting for years.

One 99 skill?
Runecrafting, so I could start making 1m gp+ per hour right away.

:: tripsis :: 99 Woodcutting!
Thank you very much Miss War :) It definitely does feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things. More than that actually, considering that in my old "swing" I never would have imagined doing quests or gaining combat levels  Thank you for your continuous support :) :o!!!! *runecrafts* I actually only have to use 6.7k essence (13,400 nature runes) to get 94. Maybe I should do that tomorrow *ponders* Thank you walka! I appreciate it :) ------------------------------ EDIT: Just made 4k nats :) For Level 94, you need 42,119 XP 4.6k essence to go! I'll probably try to make 4k more nats tonight (2k essence).

I can totally relate to you that the flood control is annoying. There were several times where I would answer a PM and then attempt to respond to a thread that I was viewing prior to receiving a PM, and would have to wait 30+ seconds before posting. So I won't deny that flood control sucks. But at the same time, it does prevent spammers as you said and it helps more than you may think. Earlier today a user was spamming graphic images. As a global moderator, I couldn't ban him but had to wait for a super moderator or admin to come online. Before he was banned, I had to constantly refresh his post history, removing his inappropriate threads as he created them. Had he been able to create threads 2x faster, I might have gone insane.

:: tripsis :: 99 Woodcutting!
You're right, I do have a ton of time on my hands  Thank you for your support! :D ------------------------------------- Today I finished my fire giants task that I started last night and then Dork and I did the Smoking Kills quest: Afterwards, I decided to use up some charms and went from 35 - 37 summoning and achieved 111 combat:

A MSPaint work.
Unfortunately I can't help but agree with Nadril and see your threads as spam. These lack effort and creativity. As Pat_61 said, practice some more and read a few tutorials if you are genuinely interested in producing decent artwork. There are a few tutorials and other resources listed here: The Gallery Rules, FAQ and Resources. If you are in fact just spamming, take it away from Tip.it.

Skills or Killz
Maybe I'm biased but I still see it as the same concept: Combat Each battle is slightly different in the sense that you take different equipment for different monsters, have a slightly different approach, etc. But the task if killing is still very repetitive, you just do it in different ways. Skilling Each skill is slightly different. For cooking you cook fish and then bank over and over again, for crafting you craft armour/jewelry/etc. over and over again, etc. But each skill is slightly different. So for combat, each "each battle is different" like you said, but for skilling each skill is also different. But in the end, they are both very repetitive in my opinion.

Skills or Killz
But on the flip side, combat is killing over and over. With skilling you get to do new things ;) I vote skilling, if it isn't obvious ;)

Perambulation
Oh yeah, that's another thing I forgot. When I'm strolling along and I look up, I'm reminded about all the weird things of life. It's basically like staring at infinity. It makes me feel insignificant and fascinated at the same time. Clouds and stars are some the most aesthetically appealing things I can think of too. That's exactly how I felt last night actually :geek:
-
Perambulation
I agree, I think it's a wonderful form of meditation. I go for a walk every day and I particularly enjoy night/evening walks. Of course I usually spend more time looking up at the stars than where I'm going, which can be problematic  But walking definitely gives me a lot of time to myself to think.. I love it.

Con question
Again, it depends on how you time it. For example, the way I trained construction, I was never standing around waiting for my butler to return, and he was rarely - if ever - waiting for me. I think I would build two larders while the butler was away and finish off the third while he walked towards me. Something like that anyway.. You have to be pretty fast to time it right though. I haven't actually done this in over a year so I'll have to try it out again and maybe experiment with the regular butler to see which I like better. Either way, my method was getting me over 200k xp an hour at times so I'm pretty content with it.
-
Con question
Yeah I know. Depending upon how fast or slow you go, that may make a big difference or it may not. If you go as fast as possible and don't want to waste any time, demon is faster. Otherwise I'm sure normal would suffice. If you stand there and make a full inventory of larders, then sit around while the butler fetches more for you, you're going to lose time. But if you time it so that the butler is away while you're still building, it won't make a difference.
-
Con question
I have heard people say that using a regular butler is just as efficient as the demon butler, but I have personally only ever used the demon butler so I can't really vouch for that claim.

Count to ~200~ before a mod posts - fifth round
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Con question
I'm pretty sure he intended to use a butler in both situations. He just wanted to know if it was quicker to ask your butler to unnote planks, or if it was quicker to send your butler to the bank to retrieve them for you. I don't think the OP was going to actually go walk to the bank himself.
-
Con question
Unnoting - you go through less dialogue. Plus it allows you to easily keep track of your progress since you can see how many planks you have left. It's a nice way to keep track of things.

Jagex support on recoveries blows!!! Look/help!!
As made clear in section 1.1 of the Tip.it Forum Rules, we do not tolerate the violation of RuneScape rules on our forums. You violated RuneScape Rule 6 - Account Sharing/Trading, so not only do I have no sympathy for you, but I am locking this thread because you openly admitted to violating RuneScape rules, which in turn violates Tip.it rules.

Post all RS Screenshots, Videos, and Sounds here!
Please do not discuss RWT methods, even if you're just explaining it to someone. It may give people bad ideas and we don't want to encourage anyone to violate the Jagex rules.
