I think Albosky is referring to the fact that we only permit people to advertise their forums/websites/whatever in the designated sticky in the Off-Topic forum and in signatures. I disagree with that. I don't see why someone can't make their personal decision, but still be open minded to what others have to say after their side is chosen. Whether they've made their decision or not, I view an open minded person as someone who is willing to listen to any ideas that someone has to offer. So even after they've taken a side, they can still leave their mind open to be swayed.

I still stand by what I said before: I hope this doesn't come off as harsh, but it's really not a very good idea to put effort into a fan site this late in the game. RuneScape has been out for several years now and there are already hundreds of fan sites out there and most people are comfortable with the more popular ones like Tip.it, Runehq, Runeweb, Draynor.net, and so on. With so many other big fan sites out there that offer guides, calculators, forums, signatures, etc., the chances are very small that yours will get noticed unless you've paid to get your own domain name and have everything that I've listed above. Making a forum/fan site isn't a walk in the park. If you want it to become popular you have to spend a lot of time and money on it. Plus it helps if you're an experienced HTML/PHP coder.

I'm 100% pro-choice. I believe that it's a personal decision that belongs to the 'mother' and 'father.' Meaning, I don't think that there should be laws against it. Many people are saying things like, "It's their fault for having unprotected sex," and such. Well did anyone consider the fact that some women get pregnant even if they do use protection? There's still something like a 1-4% chance that you can get pregnant even if you do use the pill/condom/whatever. Sure, it's a low chance, but it does happen.

It doesn't really matter what you do to get to 33, since it doesn't take very long no matter what you do. Just keep building the best thing you can (but try to only use planks, not other materials like cloth, as it will be faster if you don't). My guess in terms of cost would be somewhere between 500k and 600k.

The two fastest (and most reasonable) ways to level construction are oak larders (lvl 33) and oak doors (lvl 74). With a demon butler, I average 100k - 150k xp per hour with larders and 150k - 200k xp per hour with doors.

While it is annoying for a couple weeks, I don't think it's a big enough problem to merit a sticky. It seems silly to have a sticky that would only get posts for one month out of the year :( There are usually 'waves' of certain types of discussions in Off-Topic, but they always die down eventually. There's always a mass increase of sports topics a couple times out of the year, but they always die down after a couple weeks or so. Then in August, there's a rush of back to school topics, but they die down in September or so. Then in June there may be a rush of summer-related topics, but they also die down after a couple weeks. And if you ever see two threads that you feel could easily be joined together because they revolve around the same subject, you can always report one of them and link us to the similar topic so we can take a look and take the appropriate action.
