Pyramid Plunder Banking
I would recommend that as well. You can always sell the Sceptre when you're done, and it makes banking extremely quick.

Chocolate Rain!
I think this would be better suited here: Trivial youtube/google video links to be posted here :)

Anyone wanna recruit me for their clan?
Thanks for the link :) You could try searching through the Clan Recruitment forum to take a look at the clans that are being advertised. Or, as nerdattack suggested, you could create your own thread in the Looking for a Clan/Group forum :)

The post I've waited years to make...
No, you cannot retaliate. That just causes an unnecessary flame war. If you see an inappropriate post or thread, do not reply to it or flame them back. Report it so a moderator can handle it. PM me if you wish to discuss this further.

a mod idea
People cannot ask or apply to be moderators and expect to be chosen (that's just now how things work around here). I would highly recommend checking out the following sticky: So you want to join the Tip.it Forum Staff ?

Split up blogscape...
Yes, I agree with misterxman. While subforums are nice for organizational purposes, they are not nice (in large quantities) for browsing purposes. As misterxman said, if a blog is good, other people will make sure that your blog stays on the first or second page (through their comments). If it's not good, then it may be left up to you to bump your own blog. But it's really not difficult to bump your blog once or twice a day. It would take a lot less effort for each person to bump their blog once, then for a group of 3-5 moderators or administrators to search through every single blog, PM every single user, await an answer, then move their blog accordingly (and that's on top of all our other duties as well). Then we may even run into the same problems we had with the General/General P2P forums. Maybe you have a blog for your pure. But lets say that subforum isn't very big, so it prevents people from visiting it often. When not many people visit it, then the blog owner gets upset because s/he never gets any comments, then s/he requests that it be moved to a more popular forum so his/her blog can get more attention, blah blah blah. At least in one big forum, everyone has an equal chance at getting their blog noticed. It just takes the right amount of time and effort. But with subforums, people will choose which categories to browse in (instead of seeing every type of blog all at once), and will therefore neglect the ones they're not interested in entirely. Subforums for BlogScape would just greatly complicate things, for both the moderators/administrators and the regular users.

Unfairness? We need equality for all posters. plz read
Well I personally think that your title is a little dramatic. We do have a set of Rules and Guidelines for the Player-Made Guides forum, and if those rules/guidelines are not met, then we are perfectly within our rights to lock the thread. When I lock topics in the PMG forum, I try to be as specific as possible as to why I chose to do so. I often link the users to the Rules and Guidelines announcement and/or the Guide Writing Tips sticky and then thank them for wanting to help the community in the first place. I leave them with enough information so that they will be able to read my criticism and if they want, prepare to rewrite their guide to include my suggestions (and meet the rules/guidelines). In short, we like to make the Player-Made Guides forum easy to browse. Guides should take hours of research and contain little-known information. Why? Because we don't want (and don't need) 5-10 guides all on the same subject, all containing information that can just as easily be found on the main Tip.it help site or on the RuneScape Knowledge Base. And trust me, if we didn't lock some of these threads, that's how the forum would look and people don't want that. If these users do not bother to read our announcements and stickies that make it very clear as to what we're looking for/expect in a guide, then it is in no way unfair for us to lock it.

The post I've waited years to make...
Beamo26, Eelspremiers, watch your attitudes :shame: I am quite confident that this can be discussed without throwing insults at each other. It is perfectly possible for someone to have a relationship over the internet and not be a nerd (I consider that term to be completely subjective, by the way.. what classifies as a "nerd" anyways?) - for reasons which I already explained to you Eelspremiers, and I thought you understood (it was you, wasn't it? :uhh: ). What if you meet the girl/boy of your dreams on the internet and personal/family reasons prevent you from seeing each other for a few years? Now don't say, "Maybe they're not who they say they are!" because people are perfectly capable of lying, backstabbing and turning out to be "fake" in real life too. As I explained to you before, when you have a long distance relationship (which might start out as simply as talking in a game, progressing to online messangers, then phone conversations, then web cam/mic chats, then sending each other gifts through the mail, etc.), you actually get to know one another and figure out who they really are. Now I won't force you to sit through my lecture again, but please take that into consideration before you flame someone and accuse them of being a nerd.

why am i chicken feather ?
This sticky should explain anything: Tip.it Forum Guide - Post Count. The rank under your username is a representation of how many posts you've made (unless you have a specific rank like "Crew," "Moderator," "Administrator," etc.). But remember - post count hardly matters  What matters is what you say in your posts and how you represent yourself through them. Quality, not quantity!

What is your type of girls/guys? and why?
Basically.. everything I've ever wanted in a guy = my boyfriend I've never been particularly picky on appearances, I don't think. I've usually preferred guys with darker hair, length doesn't really matter. I've never been a fan of incredibly muscular bodies.. it just never struck me as very cuddly  I like my guy to be romantic. I'd never want one of those guys who thinks they're 'so cool' and doesn't like being sweet to me around his friends. Several of the things that IGoddessI mentioned strike my interest as well. Someone who will openly try new things with me, go camping with me, sit under the stars and drink hot chocolate, will hold me close when I'm cold and when I'm not, who will let me hold him, and loves a variety of movies. I take relationships very seriously. I don't have them "just for fun." I may have felt that way in like middle school, but I certainly don't anymore. I only date someone if I could truly imagine spending the rest of my life with them. I need someone who will be my best friend as well as my boyfriend. Someone who I can talk to about absolutely anything - even embarrassing strictly-girls-only things. I always viewed a little bit of jealousy (for both parties) as a good thing. It can get a little excessive at times, but a little bit of jealousy proves to me that you really care about your boyfriend and/or that he cares about you (and is afraid to lose you). While differences are sometimes good to have, I really want someone who agrees with me in the aspects of life that I hold a strong opinion towards (usually some of the random, controversial topics). While I think small differences are good to have, I feel that a couple should agree on most of the things that you have a strong opinion about (it may prevent any potential arguments that could become unfriendly/frustrating over time). Probably most importantly, he can't be afraid to openly discuss our relationship - whether it's a positive or negative discussion. I want to be able to talk to him about anything that's on my mind (and the other way around as well - whatever is on his mind), whether it's about our relationship or something else. And finally, I need a guy who can cook.. since I lack the capacity to do so \ It would be a fun activity to do together - him trying to teach me how to cook. Not sure how well it would turn out, but it's worth a try :) I'm sure I could come up with a few other things if I thought about this more :P But the best part is that my boyfriend matches every part of my description :)<3: Guess I got lucky, hehe.

the new REAL F2P and P2P "chat" clans
This can easily be discussed in the thread that we already have: The New Clan Chat System! Or even one of the many threads in General Discussion or the "official" update thread in RuneScape News.

Introducing a New Search Feature
In response to skatedog111 - A feature like this is hardly a necessity. In my personal opinion/interpretation of this, it would just be a fun feature to play around with when you're bored. Say you have a list of 10 friends from Tip.it and are interested in reading the threads that they have created (because you like the ideas they bring up, are interested in what they have to say, or just because they're your friends..). It's much quicker to be able to search for them in a heartbeat via the search function (and that way you can get it done ASAP) than to PM ten different people, await their response, then hope that they can find the link (which they may not even be able to do). You may not, but don't rule out the possibility that others are interested in doing it. I think we can all agree that the search function.. isn't the greatest. If you know how to use it properly, it does work a little better, but it still doesn't work as well as one would like all the time. But lets say you're trying to find a certain thread. You don't know the URL, you don't know the exact topic title, the search function isn't helping you much, nobody who is currently online can provide you with a link, but you know the author of the thread. Now your options are to wait until someone can provide you with the URL, or search through the author's post history. Now I admit that this situation probably don't come up too often, but it still might be helpful in some situations (for moderation purposes and regular forum browsing purposes). ----- As for my personal opinion on this idea, I think it would be a fun feature to have as long as creating it didn't put too much stress on Albosky :P I don't consider it as something that we really need to have, but it would be fun and perhaps helpful at times :)

Avatar Help
That link doesn't lead to a picture, it leads to a website. The URL must be the address of an image, not a website. So it needs to end in .jpg, .gif, .png, etc.

Split the General Discussion board
Yes, we did hope that the pointless discussions would be pushed to the bottom, which didn't exactly happen. Bringing back the Genera/Gen P2P boards will not cause the "pointless" threads to go away. Whether we have one board or two, there will be the same amount of "pointless" threads. "What if/what is your favourite" threads started becoming popular around the time that we decided to merge the threads, which caused some people to believe that the merging is what actually cased the mass increase in those kinds of threads.. which I don't think is true (I think it was a mere coincidence).

I'm glad! :D Good luck with your runecrafting! You're always welcome to PM me on the Tip.it Forums if you need more help :)

Fast Millions
Definitely get pouches, otherwise it isn't worth it. All monsters in the Abyss drop pouches. However, I would recommend focusing on killing the Abyssal Leeches. They only have 10 hitpoints so they are very easy and quick to kill. In response to your last question, I would definitely recommend glories - nothing else. The whole point of your thread is fast millions, and glories are the fastest way to go about this. Remember that you can always sell your glory amulets once you're done runecrafting (once you have your 3m). Another thing that I would recommend, would be to carry along a one click teleport (such as a teletab, teleport crystal or ectophial) and a sara brew (four dose) while you runecraft. They do take up two extra inventory spaces, which is frustrating, but they will undoubtedly save your life countless times. The one click teleport is for a quick escape from PKers when they entangle you. The sara brew is in the unlikely event that they manage to teleblock and entangle you before you have a chance to escape. Sara brews raise your defence and hitpoints by about 15% or so (they can even heal you above your maximum hit points - like 95/84 hit points). After a PKer teleblocks and entangles you, they usually try to kill you off with a DD++. Sara brews are a way of healing yourself. By the time your sara brew is empty, the entangle spell will likely have worn off. So you can then make a quick escape to the Zammy Mage. Once you enter the Abyss, the teleblock spell will automatically be removed, at which point you can teleport back to safety to heal yourself.

91 Runecrafting by Fires?
At least this is the case for me.. but I think you'll come to find that laws and fires are no less boring than nature runes in the Abyssal Space. And in my case, I tried FFL for about 20 minutes once and it bored me to tears, so I never went back. In reality, neither method is incredibly faster than the other. If I were you, I would try 10k laws and 10k fires and see which one you can tolerate more :P In my case, I think it would be fires (though if the option was considered, I would choose soloing nats, since that's what I prefer) because I hate dealing with large amounts of trading, then there's always the fact that there are sometimes more crafters than runners, blah blah blah. Fires are just much less complicated. But it's really up to you. There isn't a huge difference in either of the methods. But whichever method you choose, just remember that it's going to take a long time and you have to be sure that you're up for that. When you consider the amount of people who aspire to get 91 runecrafting and the amount of people who actually get there... most people never complete the goal because it usually takes several weeks/months and is very repetitive. The reason why I chose to make my own nature runes (other than the fact that FFL was incredibly boring) is that you're actually able to see yourself make progress, which keeps you motivated. If you're burning gp in the process of getting 91, it's actually rather depressing to be perfectly honest. You keep telling yourself, "I will make a ton of gp once I get 91!" ..but right now - you're not. You have to keep telling yourself that it will be profitable.. but you can only keep your hopes up for so long. But by making your own nature runes, even though it's not as good as it will be once you're 91, you can actually see yourself progress financially. Even on your way to 91 runecrafting, you're inching forwards in your goal for a party hat and level 99 in a few buyables. In fact, getting to 91 could already knock off construction, prayer or farming (I got 99 construction and 91 prayer on the way to 91 runecrafting). It's all a mindset. And seeing yourself progress keeps you motivated (at least it does for me). Whereas if you keep telling yourself, "I will be rich once I get there..." you will burn out eventually. Those words of comfort can really only hold out for so long. But I guess everyone is different and maybe you can tolerate telling yourself over and over again that it will be worth it in the end. But I like to see the effects to keep me motivated.
