Sheesh, enough is enough. Strav is right, we get the point. I think the most effective resolution to this "issue" would be to carry on like we should we should have been all along. If you see a guide that you feel isn't informative enough to have its own thread, report it. Then the moderators (and pokemama, who does an excellent job) will use their best judgment to lock the threads that needn't be there. Simple as that. It doesn't matter if you "incorrectly" report a thread, it's not like it will count against you. If you're unsure, just report it and a moderator will handle it. It's too difficult to draw the line and put a "range" of acceptable guides in the rules. This needs to be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Adding an avatar is hardly any different than adding a signature. It is done through your Profile. Before you begin, you must be sure that your avatar coincides with our size limits. Meaning, it must be no larger than 100x100 pixels and have a file size no bigger than 8kb. If it fits within those restrictions, then you can make it your avatar. Either upload it from your computer or insert the URL of the image in the Link to off-site Avatar option in your Profile.

Everyone has a fair say in suggestions. It's not like we disregard suggestions created by users (otherwise we wouldn't post here as often as we do ;)). The only advantage might be that moderators can sort of help get the ball rolling when it comes to implementing ideas. But we take every idea into an equal amount of consideration, whether it comes from a staff member or regular user.

It's important for staff members to make it known that they're leaving, so they will not be contacted in the future regarding forum issues. Otherwise they'll just slip away unnoticed and people will continue to contact them when they have questions, comments or concerns.

I don't see a significant difference between adult-led clans and teenage-led clans. There are so many adults out there who are still immature, disrespectful and terrible leaders. At the same time there are a lot of mature teenagers who are excellent leaders. And vice versa as well. I don't think it really depends on the age of a person, more so they're personality traits. Like I said, some people just seriously lack the trait of leadership and organization, while others are gifted by it.

True, seeing that I only had 300 post count when I joined the staff. :) I also believe Cdub and Tripsis had low post counts also so don't let that deter you from not applying. :wink: Yep, I had something like 150 posts that were actually counted.. 7.5/10 for the bank and stats together.. just because I'm a noob and prefer stats over items :uhh: Good luck with 91 runecrafting :) After you get it, you should work on raising more of your skills.

A few easy and fast skills are cooking, fletching and thieving (Pyramid Plunder). In all of those skills you'll get about 100k - 200k xp per hour, so you do the math ;)
