Locking this, as it's pretty much been proven that it's fake. Please do not spam our forums with fake images. If you made it yourself, that's what The Gallery is for (fake RuneScape images). If you wish to plea your case, PM me.

From a moderator's standpoint, it's far more difficult. Sure General may be full of members stuff, but guess what, our old General P2P board was also full of threads that should have belonged in General. The way it was set up, General P2P was for all threads that were specifically for members. General was not necessarily for F2P discussions, but for anything that was not just for members (so things like "Post your outfit here" which are not strictly for members, would belong in General). ..but that's where the problems came. There were several users who would post a general thread incorrectly in the General P2P forum because it received more traffic. The thread would be correctly moved to General or locked with an explanation, but then the author would be upset that their thread was now in a forum with less traffic. So they would repost it in General P2P... so it would be moved/locked again... and then in a desperate attempt to keep their post in General P2P they would post it a third time, but instead change the wording to make it sound like it was for members only... when in reality it wasn't at all! It just makes things far more difficult, in my opinion. If you're not interested in members/F2P, then ignore those threads.

My thoughts exactly. If we were to continue with this trend of creating stickies for everything, there would just be nothing left in the actual forum... other than stickies. As The_Sith said (and a few others), there are currently four outfit threads in Rate This, which isn't even a third of the total amount of threads on the first page.

In cases like this where the picture is pretty borderline, it will be up to the moderator's best judgement. Personally, I think that picture is fine. It's really not too revealing, and I think we can all agree that the purpose of the picture isn't, "Hey ladies, check out my abs" (there were a few other pictures like that).

Tip.it does not support attempting to bypass parental controls set up by your guardians. Talk it out with your parents or try harder in school - don't try to get around it.

***NOTE*** The staff has come to an agreement on the specificities of "risque:" Pictures that are particularly revealing (i.e. no shirt on for no reason or for the purpose of displaying abs, etc.) are not permitted. But casual pictures at the beach/pool/etc. where the person is in a swimsuit, is okay.

I think the fact that you walked out proves that you know nothing that has been discussed/planned during the past few months. And Killerred005 - do you mean one new forum for all the clans to share, or a bunch of new forums, each for a different clan?

We are currently discussing where we're going to draw the line. So for now, feel free to include all the pictures and we can remove any pictures that we deem inappropriate once we figure out the 'limit.'

I guess it really depends on what you're interested in. I went from RuneScape to LOTRO because not only do I love the Lord of the Rings books and movies, but the two games were very similar when I made the switch. But LOTRO seemed much more complex and entriguing.

Well for starters, I did read your "message to mods" but despite your request, your thread is still in the wrong forum. We cannot allow people to post any thread in General Discussion because "they will get more replies." If we permitted such a thing, everyone would post there, making all the other forums essentially worthless. Besides, do you really think that you would get better replies about other games in a RuneScape forum or in a general Video Game & Console forum, where people are experts on all different kinds of games and not just RuneScape? ;) And to answer your question, I'd recommend Lord of the Rings Online :lol:

Sorry, but I'm locking this as it's really just turning into a flame war and I don't expect it to stop even if I had just cleaned off the spam/flames. To anyone who posted negative comments: please keep in mind that accusing users of scamming (whether true or not) is not permitted.
