Exactly my thoughts. You'd be surprised at how many people with high post counts have a long list of forum offenses. Of all things, this would only encourage the Multiple replies in H&A "issue" (and others). Having a high post count definitely doesn't mean that the person knows what is appropriate and what is not. It takes but a minute to PM a moderator and request that a poll be created. If the moderator agrees that a poll is worth having, it will be created, simple as that.

Forum Bug - Not a real 'bug'
I use the default skin and I have seen this bug 2-4 times in the past. I'm not sure if anything can be done about it *looks for Albosky*

The general forum is not discussion.
I think that these topics are just due to the excitement of summoning combined with the frustration of the recent changes. Jagex have made huge changes to the game and people wonder if they will make anymore drastic changes. In addition to that, people are excited about summoning and they're going to make speculations/assumptions about it. I don't see anything wrong with that. It is a discussion forum and I find it rather silly to limit discussion topics (i.e. make a rule saying that speculations are not allowed, then when another topic theme gets too popular ban that too). Speculations are just popular right now due to the recent and upcoming RuneScape changes. I'm sure it will die down a bit once people get used to these changes and summoning is released.

would you die for your beliefs?
Pretty much my thoughts exactly. To me, dying for someone you care about has meaning - you saved your loved one's life. If someone pointed a gun at me and asked "Are you an atheist?" and I said "Yes," sticking by my belief, that doesn't mean anything to me. The result? I die.. I didn't do anything noble (in my opinion), I didn't save someone's life, etc. I could easily lie and say "No" and not think twice about it. It doesn't change me as a person or cause me to be unable to live with myself.

Small suggestion
Generally speaking, most people overlook stickies, especially if there is a lot of them. General Discussion has some of the most stickies of all forums. Since most people overlook stickies, that's why it would get 'hidden.' Or most people just wouldn't see it. Why do you think that people post screenshots in individual threads so often? Because they don't look at the stickies ;) Well I haven't seen any such reports (or personally dealt with them, is a better way to say it), so I wouldn't know the reason for not doing so. But I see no problem with moving the General Discussion threads to the RuneScape News forum if they're created first.

Small suggestion
In my opinion, it would be much easier if we left all RuneScape news threads for the RuneScape News forum. It's rather silly/pointless to have two RuneScape news threads - one in General Discussion and one in the actual forum. That way we could just sticky the one in RuneScape News and we wouldn't have to worry about another (more popular) thread existing in General Discussion at all. But whatever :P Either way, I don't think the one in General Discussion should be stickied. Due to the large volume of stickies in that forum, I'm sure that stickying the thread would hide it, of all things.

Stardust
I think most movies are predictable these days  Anyway, I saw the movie in theaters a couple months ago. When I first saw the preview, I thought it looked like the dumbest movie ever. Then my friend dragged me to the theater to see it with her and I loved it! Now I have it on DVD actually But if you're not a fan of fantasy or romantic movies, this one isn't for you.

my school had a walk out
venomai - At this point there is not "right or wrong" answer. It just comes down to your opinion vs. mine, which isn't something to argue over in my opinion. There is a huge difference between informing parents that their child is drinking coffee and alcohol. It is not illegal for someone to drink coffee, but it is illegal (in the US) for anyone under 21 to drink. Unless there's something I don't know about, coffee won't impair your judgement or cause you to do idiotic things, but alcohol will. I think that parents have every right to know what their kids are doing in their "private lives" if it's something illegal. I mean they are their parents. They're looking after and raising their children, so I certainly think it's their business. I think a better question is why they don't deserve to know.

my school had a walk out
I don't think there's anything wrong with parents being concerned. Most parents don't want their underage children drinking, and I don't blame them. I'm not a parent or even a legal adult and I don't think that underage people should drink. Just because "everyone does it" doesn't mean they shouldn't be concerned. I'll bet that the only reason the parent told the school is so that the parents of the teens in question would be notified. I doubt that she was feeling evil and wanted to get them suspended or "mess up their future" or whatever. She probably just felt that the parents of those students had a right to know (and would want to know). The parent couldn't single-handedly find out who each student was and contact their parents, but the school could at least make an attempt to do so. I think parents have a right to know when their kids are drinking. Quite frankly, I wouldn't want to be friends with anyone who blamed me for something my Mom did anyway.

siggy help plz
To test your signature, please post in the following thread: Test your signature here! You only need to post once because your signature automatically updates. If you have questions or would like an avatar resized for you, please post here: Ask your questions or sig resizing here! Good luck :)

Sig
It depends on what kind of signature you want. If you want a custom, hand-made signature, you could pop over to The Art Bazaar and request one. Or if you want one to display your RuneScape stats you could visit one of the following links: http://www.draynor.net/goalsig.php http://www.rsbandb.com/runescape_goal_signatures http://www.runeweb.net/index.php?page=rw-goal-sig Thanks to Foooman for the links - I stole them from another thread

my school had a walk out
See my reply above. Also, Facebook isn't exactly a site that "anyone" can access. Most people tend to restrict their profiles to friends only. I think the truly "stupid" people are those that give their passwords to parents knowing that their parents are against alcohol/drug use (although I'm sure many parents force it out of their kids or get in without them knowing). I already replied ;) As you suggested, I doubt that most people willingly give their parents their password. I know some parents who demand that they have their child's password, and then there are other people who just leave FaceBook open on their computer and their parents access it without "permission."

my school had a walk out
I'm actually kind of surprised. If the pictures weren't of people drinking on campus, I didn't know the school could do anything about it. At least in all the high schools I've heard of (including my own), the school is only allowed to take action if the student is found to be drinking/doing drugs on campus. That policy makes a lot more sense in my opinion (than being allowed to suspend a student who got drunk, but not on campus). But still.. I think they got what they deserved. I agree with Nadril that if you're stupid enough to post that on a site where anyone can see it, it's really entirely your fault and you deserve whatever punishment comes your way. I have no sympathy for those people. EDIT: But the pictures had to have been taken with the person's consent (unless for some reason the person was tied down and unwillingly had their picture taken, which I doubt). And if someone takes your picture, I think it's pretty obvious that the pictures are going to be uploaded onto a computer (which anyone can really have access to, whether it's a parent or sibling) and posted somewhere. That's what high school students do.
