  1. As Laikrob said, NO reports are closed for no reason. If no action is taken then it's because no action needed to be taken. I personally review all closed reports to make sure that they were handled correctly. I can assure you that no moderator closes a report just for the hell of it. They close a report because they dealt with it or they felt that no action needed to be taken. If they're unsure on how to handle a specific report, they will leave the report open and wait for another moderator to handle it.
  2. I know that Errdoth is fixing it in the Tip.it theme. It should be pretty easy to fix in SubSilver2.
  3. For information on the rollback, please read the following announcement: Forum is coming back but :( Locking this as it looks like pryomancer forgot to do so
  4. Note: I have updated the first post so it is hopefully a little more clear now :)
  5. We will be :) ~tripsis
  6. D_V: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!! Anyway, the current buttons look like crap, so I redid them very simply.. http://p27.us/tipit_theme/imageset.zip Sample: Thank you for redoing them! :D I do like the sample. We don't need anything too fancy, so I think that will work well.
  7. We're working on it! :ohnoes: There are still a lot of things we have to fix.. such as account problem reports and ban appeals ( account_problem.php )
  8. I am browsing Tip.it, watching Jurassic Park, and talking to people on a messenger.
  9. Should be fixed - thank you!
  10. Well I can answer one of your questions - soon we will be installing the two following skins: http://p27.us/phpBB3/ http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/subsilver2 Hopefully one of those will appeal to you :) We will probably also be getting a black one eventually and maybe a few others.
  11. I have both of those saved on my computer if you want them :P Feel free to PM me if you do.
  12. I'm not exactly sure, but here are two examples: This is size 85. And this is 50. First one is size 85, second one is 50. If neither of those are correct, you can experiment with values in between.
  13. 10/10. Congratulations, both of those achievements are fantastic!! :D
  14. If it does, then it's not our fault whatsoever. We did not design this skin.
  15. Fixed - thank you :) We'll see, made a topic about it in T&C, everything points to Tip.It's ends, yet no one else has it. Hmm odd. Not quite sure about that then.
  16. Fantastic job and really nice stats!! Keep it up!!
  17. There is no "old TIF" anymore. It was deleted, if you'll read the announcement. It simply doesn't exist. If we were to go back to the old forum, we would have to start over from scratch. And that won't be happening because as I explained before, phpBB2 will soon no longer be supported and will be very vulnerable to hackers and the like. Those of you who have not been keeping up with the Suggest a Style thread, these are the first skins that will be installed: http://p27.us/phpBB3/ http://demo.phpbb3styles.net/subsilver2 There will be others installed eventually, but those two are at the top of our list right now. Hopefully some of you find at least one of them appealing.
  18. I created the regular "Clan" field in profiles. We can worry about linking it later, as that's not something I can do :P
  19. It depends on when our techie admins get the chance to take a look at the code. They are pretty busy with fixing bugs/kinks in the forums, so it's kind of hard to say. Once we know a little more about how we will be setting that up, we'll let you know :)
  20. Well we did have one "girly" one on the old forum. So I don't see any harm in adding one (whether it's this one or another one) on this one to please some of our female users.
  21. I could have edited your post but I didn't want to step on your toes, heheh. The following listed on the front page have been fixed (my comments in red): [*:16iq6mp8]The Falador Library is gone ------- Has been reverted to Varrock Library [*:16iq6mp8]Not possible to access a Global Announcement through the "Announcements, Rules, & Security Warnings" Forum, then reply to it. It appears that you have to access through "General Discussion" before you can reply to it It has always been like this. Registered users do not have permission to reply to threads in that forum due to popular demand. I suppose we could just be sure to lock all topics we don't need/want users replying to. Just letting you know that's just the way the forum is set up. [*:16iq6mp8]Unable to tweak signatures at this time, "I'm certain this is affecting everyone else with an elaborate signature. Before, it had a "counted by what would be displayed" system. Now, it has a "counted by actual BBcode and everything"" The character limit has been increased in an attempt to combat this issue.] [*:16iq6mp8]Cosmetic ( Getting the Rune Tips logo set up again [*:16iq6mp8]for PM's, there is no pop up, even with the option selected in Board Preferences It seems this was a problem with the individual user and his browser settings.
  22. Right now, regular registered users may view this board ONLY. This is done in order to preserve the quality of the RolePlaying. If you wish to participate in this forum, you must request access. In order to gain posting privileges, you must PM a Falador Library Moderator, requesting access and providing a summary of The Rules. If your summary demonstrates an adequate knowledge of the rules, the Falador Library Moderator will forward your request to an Administrator, who will award you with posting privileges. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact a Falador Library Moderator or a Tip.it Administrator. Happy RolePlaying!
  23. What's the difference between that and me putting a link in my signature (or a post even) to a bad site? So long as the regular censors (no linking to executables + the list of known bad sites) are still intact, it's not much different. That's what I meant by making sure it cannot be abused. I'm not really sure how the whole thing would be set up, but we would have to make sure that the censor is still in place and that anything with executable files or other dangerous file types like are forbidden, like you said. One of the differences between posting a bad site on the forums and putting one in the clan field is that some spammers don't take the time to disguise their links. They just say, "Visit this site: ." Whereas with the clan fields it will already be disguised for them and some people don't take the extra step of double checking the URL before clicking it. ..if that makes sense.
  24. And if a clan doesn't have a RuneHead? It looks like no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to include everybody unless we allow people to input whatever link they want (in which case we'd have to make sure that the feature could not be abused by linking to keyloggers, etc.). Not everybody uses RuneHead and not everybody uses the Tip.it Clan Recruitment section.
