Construction 99 in a week
Congratulations! As I always say, it's great to see another lover of construction. Lately I've been seeing more people who "Can't be bothered to train construction" than people who enjoy the skill. Congratulations again and have fun decorating your house if you haven't already ;)

Changes To the Clan Forums
As some of you may have noticed, a few changes have been made to the Clan section of our forums. A few of the boards have been rearranged, the Recruitment boards have been merged, and the Tip.it Clan Events board has been removed. After much consideration, it was decided that we would discontinue the Tip.it Clan Events team, and simply host events without that title when the occasion calls for it. The current TCE Tournament is not canceled and will be moved to the Clan Discussion forum. - Tip.it Administrative Team and your Clan Improvement Council Leaders

HI
As stated in the Tip.it Forum Rules, begging is considered spam and is not permitted.
-
how old is the average tip t forums person
Quite a few people on Tip.it have children actually :) I'm 17.

Dynamic Signature Discussion
Why don't we just stick the text, "Tip.it" somewhere on the sigs? It won't look as bad as a tiny, shrunken-down, hard-to-read image, and we will still be giving ourselves credit.

Signature Limitations
You should be able to fit anything that you want. As dsavi_x4 said, the character limitations are actually larger. So you shouldn't be having any problems. And darkrick, I will fix the URL limit.

Do You Run?
I've never really been a huge fan of running, but I might try the whole running at night/early morning thing this summer. Since it's been pretty hot, there's no way I'm running during the day. But I've always been a fan of late night walks, so late night running can't be much different :P

What is the first thing you did as a legal adult?
You can legally work at a pet store? :P
-
Link to RS Hiscores when you click on the RSN? - Accepted!<3
We will hopefully get this fixed soon :) As skatedog111 said, we do have a lot to fix. My hope is that we can get Account Problem Reports and Ban Appeals fixed ASAP. As long as we're going to be banning people, they should be able to appeal ;)

What is the first thing you did as a legal adult?
My thoughts exactly :P I don't reckon I'll do anything special when I turn 18 next year. I'm not interested in drinking (although I can't when I turn 18 anyway), I'm not interested in smoking, etc. etc. My mom wants to throw me a big party but I don't really want one. It will probably be like any other birthday for me.

YOUR homeworld.
124. But sometimes I would hop over to 99 if I was in the mood for chatting with some friends.

Do you care about your total lvl/ total xp?
As am I. Don't give a rats bum over what my combat is but I am more concerned about what my total is. Likewise. I don't obsess over increasing my OWN total level, but it is usually the first thing I notice and am impressed by when I look up other people (with the exception of impressive individual stats). When I'm leveling, I only focus on individual skills. My own total level is never really something that I've been concerned about. But I usually never even look at total experience :ohnoes: The only time I pay attention to experience at all when looking up other people, is when I look at whether or not they continued training a skill after level 99. But I never really care about my own total experience.

99 number 6!
Nicely said, kranked1. And it's totally true. You guys are welcome to give honest ratings, but when you give someone a 0/10 with no reason, it's quite obvious that you just dislike the person.

Finally, after 100,000 monsters...
Rofl :XD: 99 slayer is a nightmare for me because I hate combat :ohnoes: Congratulations! :D That's quite an achievement!

My dog passed away.
Better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all ;) I was going to express my sympathies, and then I realized that this thread is 3 1/2 months old.. oh well.. I'm sorry for your loss, Dusty :(

Construction... planking new question
Well it's really up to you. But keep this in mind when deciding: [*:14eex56b]Planking your own logs will be cheaper but slower. [*:14eex56b]Having your butler make your blanks will be faster but more expensive. So if you're trying to get a few construction levels as fast as possible and money isn't an issue, have your butler make your planks. But if you're not in a hurry and you'd rather not spend more money, make your own planks.

Construction... planking new question
Somewhat.. if you have noted logs in your inventory, use them on your servant and he will ask if you want to unnote your logs. He will then go to the bank and bring you back unnoted logs. Then you may use the unnoted logs on your servant and he will take them to the sawmill for you. So it requires an extra step but it can be done in a sense. But no, he cannot take all of your noted logs at once to the mill. You have to do it load by load. Hope that makes sense :)

Dynamic Signature Discussion
I'd love to allow users to upload their own poses if we can easily make it work properly. I'll talk to Peter about it :

Guys and Long Hair
I think that some guys can pull off long hair and others cannot. The same probably goes for women as well. In addition to being properly taken care of so it doesn't just look dirty/messy/gross/etc., it has to fit the person.. if that makes sense. Some guys just look better with shorter hair than long (and vice versa).

A kiss?
I don't think it necessarily has to do with being prude.. it's just cultural differences. I wouldn't like kissing people on the lips to be a common way of greeting, as I would get extremely jealous if my boyfriend kissed other girls :P

New Forum Bugs - July 1st, 2008, 8:10 pm (UTC +10hr)
It is not intentional and will hopefully be fixed soon :) Originally the info was on the right hand side, but we modified it to move it to the left side. Looks like it just got reset or something.
