Terrific! I just have to sell some nats  And no thanks on the yews :) Sorry to hear that hunter has gotten boring :( But I know what you mean. I'll give you a little "low-down" on each of the skills you listed, what I think about them, what I think others think about them, etc.: Prayer: Generally speaking, it's not too difficult of a skill. It is somewhat expensive, but also very common (mostly because people want 126 combat). From what I've noticed, most people prefer the prayer emote (and sometimes cape) over others. But it is commonly seen on a daily basis (at least in my experience), though mostly worn by level 120+'s. Construction: Construction itself is a very easy skill. Planks are usually easy to purchase, you get upwards of 150k xp an hour, all that good stuff. If you choose to get 99 construction, you'll spend like 90% of that time runecrafting or making gp however you choose to do so. So most people would consider that pretty boring. If you choose this, I'd recommend doing it one level (or a couple levels) at a time, to keep you from getting bored. Like make enough gp to get from 80-85, then get those levels. Then once you get into the 90s, make enough gp for one level, then get the level. That way you're constantly alternating between runecrafting and construction, so it's not that bad. Seeing as how you have to make ~100m to get 99, it's a very challenging one to start off with. If you're up for it, go for it! Just know how difficult it will be before you barrel in. And be prepared to be stopped in your tracks by countless users asking to see the emote. Farming: In the end, I think it costs the same as construction if you use high level tree/fruit tree seeds. But there is one major difference: farming forces you to pace yourself. For construction you could be pressured to make 10m a day so you can use up 25k planks the day after. But with farming, there's a maximum amount of gp you can spend per day to train the skill. It spaces it out over the course of a few months for you. So making "x" amount of nats per day isn't the problem, it's having the patience to stick with this skill for several months. I love both the cape and emote and it's certainly an impressive first 99 to achieve. Crafting: This is actually one of the easier buyable skills these days, and certainly the easiest of the ones you've listed. It costs very little gp (from where I am now, level 84, it will cost me less than 10m to get 99) and is a very fast skill. While it's still pretty impressive, it's not the most impressive. This might be a good skill to start out with if you're not ready for a big challenge. Besides, assuming you'll be using hides, your magic level will probably be up in the 90s by the time you're done and you'll easily be able to continue on to 99 magic. Meh, anyway, hope that helps somewhat. I didn't give my exact opinion on which one I think you should get, as I usually don't like doing that. My opinion would be no good to you because we're completely different people.. and I have 91+ runecrafting, which makes it a heck of a lot easier :-w But whatever you choose -- keep me updated! And best of luck~!

Aww I'm honored - thank you! :D You'd be surprised at how true that day/night comment is! :XD: Lately I've been doing most of my RS'ing during the day and modding by night 8-) Well right now I'm just going for 83 hunter (slowly). Once that's taken care of, I'll decide where to go from there  But generally speaking, I'll be keeping some of my chins for 80 range. The rest I will sell and use the funds for more seeds for farming.

Certainly! Took me about two weeks to go from 80-99 so I'd definitely say you could do it. Pyramid Plunder is incredibly fast xp. And thank you! I got 85 earlier today but forgot to post  Thanks so much! :D I hope so~! Oohh -goes to see- Reasonable? I would say so. If I remember correctly, she got from 81-85 in one day. I am sure you can get it in a month. Yeah, Pyramid Plunder is really really fast  Reasonable? I would say so. If I remember correctly, she got from 81-85 in one day. I am sure you can get it in a month. Ya, but that's little miss I-can-rc-22k-nats-in-a-day-tripsis (not saying you're stuck up, just calling myself a noob) EDIT: HOLY CARP!!@#!@#@! [/spam] 3 people posted while you wrote your post Well at 100k-200k xp per hour, you would too! Rofl, I keep telling you guys how long it takes me to respond to you all :D Finally it's actually evident :XD: -blush- Always PM me on the Tip.it Forums if you can't get ahold of me ingame. ----- Got this several hours ago but forgot to post:

come here when your bored!!
I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. You're either talking about a random discussions thread or a spam thread, both of which are unnecessary. This whole forum is for Off-Topic discussions that do not relate to RuneScape or anything covered by any other forum. And a thread just for spam would be.. well.. spam.

Wahoo!!! Congratulations, that's great!! And nice amount of seeds you have~! Thanks. I've planted 4 Papayas, 5 Maples (with payment) and Im still growing snapdragons - 61,562xp from level, so I might get 72 tomorrow. :) About the seeds, I was making a thread about buying them in rsof. I was thinking about how many seeds I'd buy and I thought "60 sounds nice". So 60 I wrote. When I had 28 seeds, someone wanted to sell me 23 (lucky plz?) and, ofcorse, I said I wanted to buy them. So he teleports to Fally Square and changes to my world while I calculate how much its going to cost me. 920k, seems allright. He loggs in, trades me and I take "Trade X Gold" (or whatever it says) and write 920,000. Up comes 830k and I am like "Wth?! O.O ". I realise that I wanted to buy seeds for 2,4m, with only 1,917m cash to buy for. I ended up giving him 830k cash and 500 raw monkfishes for the seeds (overpaying because of it being cash and items, not only cash) and closing the thread saying I have bought all seeds. Congratulations at 69! Fast! Oh and about how good cash snapdragon is... Concidering I get average 7.1 snapdragons per seed (rounded down to 7 per seed), deaths of herbs included when calculating the average, and the seeds + supercompost costs me 41k per seed, I make a 88k profit per trip. One trip takes me at most 10 minutes. So then I have to do 6 trips to have farmed for one hour. 88k*6 is atleast 528k/h of farming. Snapdragons is therefor one of RuneScape's best, and imo most relaxing, way to get money - it's just spread out over time. By the way, that's with 4 patches, not 5. Edit: Putting in one more thing in this ultra-long message. I got my first spirit seed today from Misc. ^^, Aww :( Sorry to hear about your seed-buying experience, haha. I do that a lot, but I usually realize my mistake shortly after I make my thread. Sometimes it makes me wish I had unlimited gp :-w Wow nice job figuring out that whole snapdragon profit thing! Farming is an excellent way to make gp on the side. The great thing is that you can combine it with probably any other money making skill and end up with a nice fat profit. And congratulations on your first spirit seed! Don't lose that little fellow~! You may even use him some day. I was worn out before I started~! :XD: Took Dork ages to get me to start in the first place. And it's taking him a while to get me to pick it back up again, haha. We meant to get 70 yesterday but ended up having a movie night instead. It was fun~! :D Congratulations on getting the Navy outfit! I'm sure it'll look terrific with your future hunting cape~! Thanks so much! I'm actually not really sure how much xp/hour we get. Maybe something like 60k? I don't know.. but the number increases as your level does. Tree patches don't really matter in terms of speed. No matter how slowly or quickly we get them done, we're always going to do them once a day. Besides, the way we do it, we get a bush patch in along the way! Oh btw I could add a part of my farming-round, which I find pretty good. *Teleport to Lumbridge and take that tree *Run to glider in Al-Kharid and go to Gnome Stronghold *Do those two patches *Take Spirit Tree to Gnome Village Not bad. I'm sure it takes about the same amount of time as the one Dork and I do. But by the sounds of it, you're mixing up fruit trees and regular trees. Yuck! Lol  Wow!!! I must say, I'm definitely very impressed! Not even sure that I could read all the posts myself :XD: Thanks so much for the "congratulations" and "good luck!" I really appreciate it! Rofl!! I love the picture!! Very well earned, and congrats on 99! Haha!!! :XD: I'd be more than happy to give you tips! What level are you aiming for? What kind of budget are you on? Hehe. I like them as well Eek! Nah, I'm not going for 99.. just 83. ----- Well as previously stated, Dork and I had a movie night last night, which was fun. I should be getting 85 farming today, as I'm something like 10k or 20k xp from it.

Close questions answered ~ thank you tripsis!
1. 2. If you ever plan on using a gilded altar (which you probably will), then yes, it is best that your chapel is closest to your portal as possible. 3. Adding on to question #2, it is best to have a Quest Hall next ot your chapel. That way when you train prayer in your chapel, you can walk next door and use your everlasting Glory Amulet to teleport to Edgy to bank. 5. Yes. Teak and Mahogany aren't even worth it. They may cut down the time it takes by like a day or two, but will cost like 100M-200M extra, which is just stupid. I got about 150k xp per hour with Oak Larders and upwards of 200k with Oak Doors. So yes, use those two methods.

How do you report a scammer?
Never give someone a glory in hopes that they will charge it for you unless you're fully aware of the risks. In the future, request to trade your Uncharged Glory and 5k gp for a Charged Glory (or something like that). Furthermore, naming names is against the Tip.it Forum Rules. This includes accusing people of scamming or breaking other rules. In short, you may not name another user in a negative light (or a bad way).

Pre-marital sex--
Okay guys, can we get over that whole "test drive" line now? It's not really worth arguing over. Obviously it wasn't meant to be an offensive statement or anything. ----- I agree entirely with Stilev and several other people who posted comments similar to his. I don't see sex as something that should be thrown around casually, which sadly is how most teenagers view it these days (in agreement with Nick_6464). I'm one of those cheesy cliche people who thinks that your first time (and every time, really) should be special (and with someone special) and not with some shady guy or girl that you barely know. I think it depends more on who you're doing it with and why you're doing it, as opposed to when.

Tip.It Times Presents: I have the answer, Mr. Runescape!
For starters, we don't use the term "maths" in the US, so that's not really a fair point of criticism  And in response to the second paragraph I quoted, naturally all of Errdoth's points don't apply to everyone. There are always going to be some people who don't fit stereotypes, and some who do. Yes, I use Tip.it's skill calculators on occasion, but I prefer to do the math myself to find out average experience per hour, rate of increase, etc. Getting a little off the point here, but in general, most people these days are lazy and dependent. How often do you see someone standing in a bank saying, "Can someone take me to Seers?" I see them all the time. The reason for that is that they're too lazy to find a map and guide themselves. They want someone to do it for them. Same reason why people ask how much it will cost from 50-70 construction using oak planks. Why figure it out themselves if someone will do it for them? Personally, I'm quite the opposite and rarely ask for help or advice. But it just goes back to my point saying that not everyone applies to Errdoth's statements. Some people do, maybe even the majorty. But there will always be people who don't.

Meh, not really. I only do one bush patch because it's on the way to the fruit tree. So why not? :P Thanks so much!! I thought the guide was very confusing as well. It's a very difficult minigame to explain. The only way to fully understand it is to give it a go yourself. Basically, it breaks down into this: There are two teams who are competing to make the most rum in 20 minutes. In order to make rum, you have to be stocked with supplies. The supplies that your team currently has is shown at the top of the screen. Basically, your job throughout the game is to collect ingredients to make rum. I'm pretty sure the guide explains how to get each ingredient pretty well. Once you gather ingredients, you have to deposite them in your team's hoppers (which can be found upstairs in your team's building). At the end of the game, you get 1 PoE for each ingredient that you collected for your team (there's a maximum of 100 PoE that you receive for ingredients) and 2 PoE for each bottle rum that your team made. So basically, when it comes to strategy, the best way to go about it would be to spend the first 10-15 minutes of the game getting a starter supply of all ingredients for your team. Once you have a descent stock and have 5-10 minutes left in the game, spend the remaining time collecting buckets of water (to max out on your 100 PoE for ingredients). Rofl maybe I'll consider it, though I'm sure you all would be disappointed  My bank is never very impressive as I just make gp as I go along. I don't hoard fancy items or mountains of gp or anything :P Heck, Dork even has more pure essence than I do!! Wahoo!!! Congratulations, that's great!! :D And nice amount of seeds you have~! Yeah, I figure as much, especially since I can just leave it and come back later, giving me what will probably be a good 15k per seed without no-lifing, which will be great. As for Tripsis, meh, I've taken over!!! MUAHAHAHAA......... I do that too much, lol Yeah farming is a great way to make money on the side.. especially since it requires such little effort! Rofl :XD: Congratulations on getting your Navy outfit (I'm sure you have it by now?)!! :D Dork and I meant to get level 70 last night but it was 1:30 am and we were both exhausted. So we got a little past level 69. Hopefully we'll make more progress today. Brace yourself... For 99 runecrafting I have to use 646,770 essence, which totals to 1,293,540 nats :wall: That's like 270m after subtracting the cost of essence. Thank youuu! :D ----- As I told Devoted, Dork and I meant to get level 70 hunter last night but we both got pretty tired. So we got a few xp past 69:

Everyone has their price
I wouldn't do it for any sum of money. Not only do I not want to kill thousands of people, but I'm not a fan of money, so to speak. I don't want a big fancy house, car, clothes, blah blah. I'm content just the way I am :P

All The Items In My Inventory, Gone
I'm sorry, but there's nothing here to resolve. If you don't log out when you leave the computer, you are prey to any random even that comes a'knockin'. I don't mean to sound too brutal when I say this, but it's in no way Jagex's fault. You can't get mad at anybody or anything for yourself, as this was entirely in your hands. In the future, I would recommend taking Jagex's advice and logging out whenever you use the computer. Or if you are just multi tasking (reading other websites), then check back to RuneScape at least every 10-20 seconds or so, to check for random events and make sure that you aren't logged out. Now I'm locking this since we've come to the conclusion that this was not a bug.

Construction questions
You could, but it's not worth it in my opinion. It takes way too long :wall: First you have to get the correct colour stew.. Then when you drink the stew, it raises a random skill (or even lowers it) anywhere from like -6 to +6. So you'd need like 50 stews before it raised the correct skill (construction) six levels. So no, not worth it :P Just get 3 more levels, it's not much.
-
Construction questions
69 construction = 3 from tea; 3 from saw That's what I'd recommend. And the fastest way to get there would be oak larders.

Arrrgh, Macroers!
I doubt that Jagex will ever be able to stop autoers unless they find a way to detect bots being used as soon as the bot is turned on or whatever and ban them immediately. They can ban as many people as they want right now, but as long as these autoers are able to spend at least a day or two autoing (though it's usually weeks/months), they'll keep making new accounts. Something I ran into a few days ago while checking on my spirit tree: ..and there were even more autoers banking! :wall:

99 Runecrafting. (No runners)
Untrimmed runecrafting cape is hawt! Big congratulations~! :D What's next? :-w
