I think that this is the single biggest issue in RuneScape right now and I think that it's growing by the day. Because these "players" drive raw material prices down, it makes those skills easier to get 99 in (since they become so cheap). And when they become easier, more people aspire to get 99 because it's an "easy 99." Cooking, though it has gotten better, was at an all-time low a couple months ago. Even the price of getting 99 construction dropped like 20-30m since last November, likely due to the amount of gold farmers/macroers making hundreds of thousands of planks, driving down the prices. Basically my point is that with 99s easier to obtain (due to them becoming cheaper), more people will get them. When more people have them, there is less of a feeling of "pride" when they're achieved. If there's no pride or feeling of accomplishment, there's no motivation. If there's no motivation, there's no reason to play.

How about this: Scatter Magnet moves up to level 45, and H.A.M. mage moves up to level 83, and the price also moves up to 25,000 coins. Fireworks are moved up to level 75, and cost 50,000 coins, and the band is moved up to level 86 and costs 175,000 coins - to make room for a new form of entertainment, the fairy. Fairy - Level 64, 20,000 coins, 4 teak planks, 75 cosmic runes, 75 air runes, 75 water runes, 75 earth runes, 75 fire runes The fairy cannot be activated while a dropper is activated, and vice versa. When activated, a fairy will walk around throwing fairy dust on players for 30 seconds. If a player has fairy dust thrown on them, they will be turned into an animal for a few seconds, or made to perform an emote. Like that weird stuff that happens in Zanaris these days. "I suddenly feel the uncontrollable urge to dance!". Oohh excellent adjustments, just what I was thinking :)

There is no such thing as fast and easy. I'd recommend getting 44 runecrafting (with fire runes, using dueling rings) and then making nature runes in the abyss. It's a fairly efficient means of getting gp. But as I said, there isn't a "fast and easy" way to go about it. These things take time and hard work.

We've decided to take a week off from farming to pay for these upgrades. We'll still farm, just use low-level seeds from MTK and finish off our herb seed stock. So for the next week or so, I'll be making 10k nats a day, and he will be making 5k nats a day (minimum). With all this gp, I will be buying: - 1 steel dragon \ - 1 dagannoth - 1 hellhound - 2 troll guards - 2 huge spiders - 1 red dragon Naturally those are all subject to change (as always). I may even considering getting 2 hellhounds if Dork and I aren't bored of runecrafting yet XD Afterwards, we'll get back to powerfarming for a few weeks... until I can convince Dork to let me get a Demonic Throne!!! :-$

Well there are pros and cons for both of them. It's impossible to say which one would be better money, since you can't predict what you'll be getting from Barrows. You could get an item every other load.. or you could get no items in 50 trips.. Runecrafting is a constant source of money, whereas Barrows is just guess work. On the other hand, Barrows is probably more enjoyable. If you're looking for a steady income, I'd go with runecrafting. If you don't need x amount of gp in x amount of time, then go with Barrows.

I must say, that especially is a terrific idea. I support this full heartedly. POHs are very popular places for users to get their 99s. A Party Room would be an excellent addition to those 99 parties! My only point of criticism is that I would like to see options with higher levels. Maybe like a Magic Chest (similar to that in Treasure Rooms) that has a requirement in the 80s or even 90s. And I do think that the H.A.M. Mage idea should have a higher requirement as well. But maybe that's just me being silly :ohnoes: I like skills that have options going all the way up to 99. So it might be nice to have some higher level options for the hypothetical Party Room.

Yes it is. Each account may only be used by one person - the owner/creator. You may not sell, trade, or give away accounts. Furthermore, you may not let someone use your account, or give them gp in exchange. Accepting an account that someone offers you (whether temporarily or permanently) is in violation of that rule. Just to clarify things, I'm not sure why someone said that luring is now 'legal,' because it's not. Jagex rule two clearly states: That part of the rule has covered luring ever since it was added. You may not convince someone to enter the wild, under the impression that they are selling/buying something from you, then turn around and attack them. And either way, Tip.it has always been against luring.

I agree completely. Thusfar my whole life has consisted of my mother forcing her religion onto me after I made it clear that I don't believe in God. Despite that, she still drags me to church every Sunday, in hopes that I will miraculously "see the light!" I find it very wrong for people to force their religion onto others. Sure when they're little kids I can see parents bringing their kids along to church so they get a sense of their religion and will be able to make their own decision later having had some experience (though it's always sad to see the faces of little kids in church. They all look terribly bored and upset :(). But once they've made that decision, I find it cruel to continue forcing your religion upon them. Given that, I would tell my boyfriend that I do not believe in God and will tolerate his beliefs as long as he doesn't force them upon me.
