I can't understand how the hacker would be given an advantage by what you're saying. Of all things, it would make things worse since the owner of the account would feel as if their account is at risk and therefore change their main password, probably causing the hacker to not longer be able to even access your account. Of all things, it could have been an accident. The hacker could have gained access to your account, hoped to change your PIN so you couldn't access your bank, realized it wouldn't take affect for 7 days and then cancel it. Whether or not the hacker canceled the PIN change or not, your account would still be unprotected. A good way to find out if this was a hacker or not would be to check the IP addresses. After you log on and there is that screen with helpful hints and such, it shows the IP address of the last person who gained access to your account. If the IP address is not your own, you have something to worry about. If it isn't, then you should be fine. Obviously this is too late for this particular scenario, but it's a good hint for the future.

Specifically, carved oak tables. Some would recommend buidling and removing oak larders in your kitchen. I'm no sure if that's really any faster, although it might be. I trained construction flatpacking carved oak tables on my workbench. Oak Larders and Oak Doors are the fastest. The more planks you use up at once, the better. The absolute fastest way to raise construction would be to use mahogany. But unless you're insanely rich, just use oak. It would be fastest to buy all your own oak planks, but I'm not sure on your 'gp situation.' If you manage to get to level 74 (pretty sure that's the right level), then start making Oak Doors in the dungeon. Buying the oak planks costs more. Oak logs = 40 gp ea, oak planks = 500 gp each. Of course you need 250 gp per oak log to plane, so add that in and it's 290 gp ea, and add in the extra butler fees = 104 gp = 394 gp per log spent. That's still lower than 500 gp per log, not to mention you still need to pay the butler to get the planks out of the bank. IMO construction is already fast enough, no need to spend millions extra to make it faster. Well he did ask for the fastest method :wink:

True, but it's against the rules. No it's not. It may not be one of their 15 rules, but they discourage players from doing anything else outside of the computer while playing. It kind of follows the same concept of logging out any time you leave the computer to do something else. If you're browsing forums or the Internet while you play then that's perfectly fine I think. I guess it all depends on what you're doing when you're multi-tasking. I don't know. Maybe that's just an understood rule that I've always followed. I suppose it's not in writing. I'm sure that, but multi-tasking, they mean things like "AFK Training." It is unacceptable to place a heavy object on the keyboard (to prevent you from logging out) while your character kills monsters in Guthans, while you sit back and watch TV. Other than that, there is no harm in turning away from the computer screen for under 30 seconds to watch TV while your character cooks fish. Or browse forums while you're fishing. It's probably just not recommended because of the possibility of dying.

I felt like it was my first day in RS again as well. I came in the middle of the Dragon weapon 'era.' Everyone I saw had one, but I was always too shy to ask what they were. I remember staring in awe at the Dragon Mace's :shock: :XD: Rofl so did I. I actually think I died my first go, but I don't really remember. But the second time, I was so confident. I really wanted to know what was on the other side. So I stocked up an inventory of cakes (also completed Dragon Slayer with cakes!), geared up with my best armour, and set out, running the whole way. My heart practically stopped when I ran out of energy. I was terrified that I'd die again :XD:
