  1. People who have a longer time spent on Tip.It are more likely to be picked since we can judge their attitude, commitment and dedication better. It's hard to get that for a new person. However, you can still apply. Even if you don't get in, there's always a chance you'll be able to join up later on. For now, welcome to the forums :) Ok, thanks for the information :D To add on to what Racheya said, providing good samples will be even more important if you have not been a member for too long :) So as long as you can provide us with good samples of your work, you should have a decent chance.
  2. That is indeed the case :) We don't know when it will be fixed but it is a problem on their end, one which I believe they said would be fixed soon.
  3. True Grit - Kind of enjoyable but I wasn't crazy about it. You're not missing anything if you don't see it.
  4. Oops I ODed on chocolate.
  5. Authors are free to write about whatever they like, providing that it is RuneScape related and appropriate. In terms of appropriateness, a good rule to go by is that if it's acceptable for the forum, it's acceptable for the Tip.it Times. However that may not be true in all cases just because we hold the site to a slightly higher standard since although articles have an author, they are hosted on our site by us and thus tend to be more representational of Tip.it as a whole than say, a post on a forum. But appropriateness is rarely an issue. I hope that answers your question :)
  6. Lots and lots of clothes :P Nothing unexpected so far but I'm fine with that. I haven't gotten new clothes in years... it was time.
  7. They lie! I haven't had any alcohol in six years ;o
  8. Black Swan - what was that...
  9. But I don't drink :(
  10. I would imagine that we do it however Jagex does it. :P
  11. I would, but I hardly play so you'll most certainly win! :P
  12. D: I actually did get 92 farming like 2 weeks ago and tried out dungeoneering for the first time 2 days ago (got level 5 :XD:).
  13. I have no intention of locking this thread :P
  14. I got the usual gift from my aunt and uncle: $25 and a bunch of candy  So far I know that I'll be getting a bunch of clothes from my mom since I bought them with her and she decided to hold them hostage until Christmas.
  15. Please use the above thread to discuss this :)
  16. I like "monthiversaries." I find them fun to acknowledge up until you hit the one year mark. Then they kind of lose their value for me.
  17. THERE'S ALWAYS TOMORROW!
  18. The Forum Rules do still exist here you guys ;) Keep things appropriate please.
  19. The graphics feel like they could be done by the engine though. - Especially the quality.. The only thing which I haven't seen are the animations (mainly for spells/sword) but they don't fit runescape. Even WOW uses outdated graphics currently btw (In developing communities it is often cited for being popular while having outdated graphic engine). Games like dragon age are much more realistic. The graphics in this trailer were in fact done by the game engine, but that doesn't make them representational of the game. It demonstrates the capabilities of their game engine, but the game doesn't actually look like that. And I know that WoW doesn't have great graphics ;) There are games with much better graphics out there, like I think LOTRO's are pretty awesome.
  20. Big congratulations!!  I can't stand firemaking so big props to you. I admire your patience ;) If only I could have some of it!
  21. Fast-free-laws was very different from the nature systems that were set up. Fast-free-laws required the crafters to run in and out of the altar and find someone to trade with. The nature systems often had people forming lines so that the crafter was CONSTANTLY crafting and they never had to move anywhere, thus speeding up the process. I don't have specific xp/hour rates that I can confirm but it seems very likely that the nature methods allowed for more xp (and certainly profit, if you wanted it).
  22. Meh I'm not really sure how I feel about it :P When compared to RuneScape's graphics, this trailer looks better.. but when compared to other game trailers, the graphics are still pretty bad. But I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. The graphics aren't very appealing and they could be better, but making them better would make the trailer even less representational of the actual game.
  23. We love you Laila!!!
  24. If trade restrictions are gone then they would be gone from the GE as well. The GE would not limit your prices (it would have "recommended prices" instead) so you could put ranarrs up in the GE for 10k if you wanted to.
