  1. How dare you!! :P I'm glad you liked them! :) ------------ Well this is far from obvious RuneScape fan art but it's my Acheron concept art (so it's more of a sketch than a refined painting). Plus I wanted to draw polar bears.. who doesn't love polar bears?? They're epic cuddly.
  2. I wonder why they decided to do this... :P It's certainly not as much of a punishment. Maybe they reserve it for first time offenders. But I still think a ban is more appropriate.
  3. I miss Off-Topic from a few years ago  I've always lurked this forum but never post enough to really be considered a regular. Welcome back :)
  4. I also vote for the rose. That's sweet :P

Yeah I'm with Laura. From what I understand, keyloggers log the keys you press on your keyboard. Since entering a PIN uses your mouse, a keylogger wouldn't log which buttons you press.

Make sure your password is long, complex and nothing out of the dictionary. Use upper/lower case letters, numbers AND symbols. Don't use your RuneScape password on any other site. Scan your computer regularly for viruses, etc., don't visit sites or download files linked to you by someone you don't know.
  7. Congratulations! Great purchase and it always feels great to achieve a long-term goal like this!
  8. (those colours too :P)
  9. I see no flaming or personal insults. He is expressing his dislike of the article (which is permitted) in a calm and constructive fashion.
  10. I found $21+ on the ground and was nice enough to not pick it up and leave it for someone of greater need to take it. Okay that's a lie. I'm actually really stupid because my first instinct upon seeing $21 on the ground was to look at it, go "Omg cool!" and walk away without picking it up. Then I stopped 5 steps later, asked myself "Why didn't I pick that up?" and turn around just in time to see someone else grabbing it. How about something nice that someone else did for me? I live in the dorms at university. Someone I don't know who lives on my hall made me a little Christmas stocking, pinned it to my door and filled it with candy and a note wishing me a merry Christmas ^_^
  11. Anything painful and drawn out is a bad way to die :P
  12. As far as getting your account hacked, you should be fine as long as you take precautions. Make sure you have a strong password that is not used on any other game/website and have good recoveries that are impossible for anyone to just guess. Your only worry should be Jagex finding this page (if it exists) and thinking that YOU are the one who created it. Above posters gave you good tips on how to avoid this in the future, but as for how to handle this situation, you don't have many options. If you can find the page you can report it (I don't know if Facebook has a report feature or anything though?) to try to get it taken down. You could also try to contact Jagex but tbh I don't know if they'll show a particular interest in the situation.
  13. Yeah I loved the Lost Symbol. All of his books are epic  I'm tempted to reread them now.
  14. I didn't read the whole conversation. But in short, I don't care about my impact or my legacy. I live because I enjoy life and as long as I continue doing what I enjoy and surround myself with people I love and people who love me, I reckon I'll be pretty happy. That's all that matters to me. I'm not going to go through life thinking "All of this is pointless because I'm going to die anyway" because with that attitude, I might as well off myself right now and be done with it. As long as I'm here, I'm going to make sure I have a good time, do what I love and be with the people I love.

No :P I don't use Facebook enough to care. I have an account, I occasionally upload my art there, once in a blue moon I will check up on a friend from the past, but other than that I never use it.
  16. Love that second picture :)
  17. [hide]Lol I loved that bit :D Anything with Jason Statham kicking ass is epic.[/hide]
  18. Yeah maybe it didn't have much substance in terms of plot but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was entertaining and had many fun fight scenes. :)
  19. First of all, it's Madam. Secondly, as I said in my first post, my question was prompted by the commercials they'ved been playing. That was how I found out it was f2p. The commercial isn't a year old. Personally, I would hope that games like this going f2p would cause Jagex to step up their game. Personally I was under the assumption that "Sir" was a non-gender specific honourific, and that madam was introduced as political correctness (see:actor, actress) sir |sər| (also Sir) noun used as a polite or respectful way of addressing a man, esp. one in a position of authority : excuse me, sir. :P On topic.. I reckon that LOTRO going F2P will encourage more users to try it out, but not so many as to cause a mass exodus from RuneScape -> LOTRO or anything like that.. probably not even a really noticeable difference. The games are still pretty different and I think probably cater to different audiences. I see RuneScape directed at a younger crowd whereas LOTRO has a lot more older players. For what it's worth, I've been playing LOTRO off and on since 2007.

A lot of people don't like giving money because it feels impersonal. I love receiving money but I don't like giving it for the reason that I mentioned :XD:
  21. I watched The Expendables last night. I saw it in theaters but I missed the opening scene so it was nice to see that :P It actually explained everything with Gunner lol.

I'm basically getting all clothes for Christmas. I am NOT a shopper and I'm still wearing clothes from 4-6 years ago. A few weeks ago I went on a massive shopping spree with my mom but she's holding all the clothes hostage to give to me for Christmas. I don't mind because I'll be glad to finally have some new clothes :P I gave my parents a 2011 calendar that I made. I give them one every year. I always give it to them before Christmas though since they need to be able to plan/schedule things several months in advance :P
  23. Hmm I think I imagine them being like half the size of your palm? Or like the size of a silver dollar coin. But I guess it's up to you! Alrighty! This is like.. not even a preview. More like a teaser. I cut out a tiny square of part of the final image :P
  24. Just to get you guys excited, I have drawn a picture for the RuneScape Gods Exposed Poster Competition :) I'm looking it over now and I think it's done! I'm pretty excited about it. I spent like 20 hours on it or more. There are a few things I should probably fix but honestly I don't think I can be bothered to :ohnoes: If any artists are reading this, I'm sure you can relate when I say I just want to be done with it, even if it's not perfect XD Anyway I don't think I'll post the picture until the deadline (19 December) but if I'm feeling generous maybe I'll post a teeny tiny preview at some point.
  25. I can vouch for that :P Teddy bears <3:
