What movie(s) did you last see?
I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night :) I really enjoyed it. I might be seeing it again on Friday lol.

Recruitment Drive
I am inclined to agree with Iconic. I found the rules archimage_a to be overly wordy and large in numbers. Although you bring up some good points, archimage, I'm not sure they're all necessary. I think that for now we should stick to the essentials and if some of those things start actually becoming large issues, we can add them ot the rules at a later date. I would also highly advise against having a list of "Falador Tavern Users." First of all, it would require constant updating to add new users and remove old ones. All lists like that prove to be a pain  Furthermore, what if you have users who show up once in a while but aren't incredibly active? Are they on the list or not? And if they're not, they'll probably feel left out. I think that anyone who hangs around for a bit will quickly get a sense of who the Falador Tavern users are.

Recruitment Drive
You don't understand though. The hegemony was one of the reasons the tavern was formed. It is a part of the tavern's history, and was pinned because it is our roots. If you ignore this, then I assume you have nothing to say in your defense. It has sentimental value but no actual purpose. Destickying something doesn't erase the history or the roots. It still exists in the forum and can be read whenever you like. The only purpose it serves as a sticky is allowing people to look at the thread title when they visit the forum and think "Those were fun days." It's like the Falador Library. It's not in use so there's no reason to keep it, but nobody wants to get rid of it because it has sentimental value. And in my opinion, sentimental value doesn't merit a sticky (or a subforum).

Recruitment Drive
First of all, I have restickied the Hegemony thread but quite frankly I see no point in it being there. It was never entirely removed from the forum so you could access it if you wanted, but I think it looks bad to have a thread stickied that isn't even being used anymore. Quit acting like you're some sort of authority here. We wanted those game stickied, and as far as I can tell you are the only one who didn't. Hex is the authority...he is the only person who ignores what everyone else says and then PMs the admin that there was agreement...and since the Admin probably don't have the time or inclination of search....or ask...other people, he has total power. We are all just hurt that we don't have any control over the forum we made and we have to deal with all of the changes that are made, while the Admin don't...How insensitive we are.[/sarcasm] In regards to the above two posts, I have always been following this thread so I'm certainly not blindly taking orders as you guys have implied. I went ahead and posted the stickies because they looked ready to me. We have been discussing this sticky for over two weeks (or almost 2 months if you count from the start of the thread). Quite frankly it doesn't need to take this long. Normally stickies like this are discussed, written and posted in a day or less. Changes can still be made even though the stickies have been posted, but keep in mind that it is not the end of the world if we have a role-play being described that doesn't necessarily have to be there or if we are missing a role-play from the list. The sticky is meant to be a very brief overview and introduction to the forum. The descriptions don't have to be perfect and highlight every single element of the games. They are just meant to give the reader a very brief overview of what the game entails and what they can expect.

Question on deleting music from iTunes + PC
Then do as Vulxai suggested but only with the songs you want to delete. If I remember correctly, when you delete a song from iTunes it asks you if you would also like to delete the file. Select "Yes" when given that option.

I never said I drive it! I do ride in it though - it's my dad's car ;) For cell phone I have an iPhone 3G3.

Consumerism thread
I share this car with my sister: It's the one I drive most often but since I'm at uni (and not currently allowed to have a car here), I spend most of my time riding in this (to and from uni): :shades:

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched Predators tonight. Not bad. I was a little disappointed in the ending though.. [hide=Spoilers]I would have liked to see if/how they got off the planet since other than staying alive, that was kind of the whole point.[/hide]

Help & Introductions
Help & Introductions ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Introductions Slightly tired, you stumble up to the door of a quiet building to find rest for the night. Placed in the middle of a forest, the building seems abandoned. You notice an ill tended-to sign hanging vertically, held only by a decrepit piece of rotting wood. You see it reads 'ԲaladØr TДveЯn'. Slightly scared, you feel glad you can finally get a drink. You observe the rotting door and notice a brass gargoyle knocker fixed in the middle of it. Knocking twice to make sure nobody's inside, you wait for a reply. Suddenly you see the knocker's mouth open. You dismiss it as a trick of the light at first, but then you hear a voice. "Evening, Newcomer. You are permitted to enter," screeched a gargoyle in a deathly voice that makes you cover your ears. The door opens. Inside is a relatively pleasant abode filled with pirates, wizards, trolls, tinkers and a variety of other dwellers. You take a step into the bar hoping to ask for a drink from the eyepatch donning Landlord but instead the pub enters silence. Everyones looks at you, the newcomer. "Arrr Well, tell us who you are then!" shouts a pirate in the corner who receives a cheer from the fellow Taverners. Help With no idea what to do the Landlord looks at you with his single eye. He appears grizzled, old and thin but despite this he looks happy as ever. The Landlord picks up a seat for you, sits you at a table, hands you your drink of choice (if you're under eighteen this will be fruit juice) and begins to speak. 'Do you have any questions? Now's the time to ask'

Falador Tavern Rules & Guidelines
Falador Tavern Congratulations on finding the Falador Tavern! But are you unsure of where or how to start? Don't worry, over the course of this thread it will all be explained to you. A historical moment is drawing near
Let's please spend less time discussing Phoenix Odin as an individual and stop speculating about what his motives are and instead spend more time talking about the topic at hand: "Could this be the start of new goals to look forward to?" We don't really encourage discussing well known players since they are not here to defend themselves. It's not our place to judge them or their motives and quite frankly, we don't know anything about them personally ;) Also remember that "Naming people or their characters in a negative light is not permitted."

What movie(s) did you last see?
Same here, and same thoughts. I enjoyed it more the second time around. The first time it was interesting to consider the possibilities, but the second time it was more enjoyable to go back and more clearly pick up on everything and immediately understand how it fit into the story. But I also don't think I'll watch it again for a very long time.

Buying a tablet
Hiya :) I've moved this to The Gallery. Although tablets are a piece of technology, I think you will find more people with tablet experience here. I've personally only ever used and owned two tablets. I owned the first one so long ago that I can't even remember what brand it was, and the second (which I still use) is Wacom. I wouldn't recommend anything other than Wacom just because I've had such a fantastic experience with their product and all the artists I see use Wacom. I have a Wacom Intuos 4. However, these are very expensive and shouldn't really be bought for a beginner (mostly because of the price). Although I've never tried the Bamboo myself, it is the tablet that is most commonly recommended as a first tablet purchase. As far as size is concerned, it does seem pretty small to me, but then again I have a much larger tablet so I'm naturally more comfortable with a larger size. I think it mostly depends on personal preference and monitor size. I've heard that you should try to at least somewhat link monitor size and tablet size. If you have a smaller monitor, a smaller tablet will suffice. If you have a really large monitor and a really small tablet it might feel a bit awkward.

Fantasy RPG Class Test
The Grand Bishop 19% Strength, 14% Bloodlust, 43% Intelligence, 67% Spirit, 29% Vitality and 0% Agility! Grand Bishops have almost no skills with weapons and they are the least physically powerful of all the classes. However, they are by no means the weakest class. In fact, Grand Bishops utilize some of the most powerful magic in world: the power to control time. By controlling time, Grand Bishops can change the course of events and defeat opponents that no other class could ever dream of defeating. Although Grand Bishops are supremely powerful spellcasters, they most often use their power for good rather than evil. Those who use their power for evil may abuse their power over time and fall into chaos and oblivion. Although time may be a powerful ally, it requires a great deal of energy and magic to manipulate, so Grand Bishops use this power sparingly. Instead, they more often use their mastery over light magic and the basic elements to battle their foes. Congratulations on reaching this high class!

guide to wine of zamorak
Just posting "spelling" or "and pictures" or essentially saying that he should write a guide completely about something else isn't really helpful. While those suggestions could be constructively given, people building upon each others' quotes and providing like two words to demonstrate what is "wrong" with the guide is far from the best way to go about it and seems more like ganging up on the author to show the sheer volume of things that need to be done. Also, sarcastically proclaiming that this guide be moved to the AoW isn't helpful. If you wish to discuss this more please contact me via PM, as to not clutter up this topic further ;)

Constructive criticism is of course welcome and encouraged but hostile, sarcastic, pointless and/or generally unhelpful posts are not permitted. Please only post if you have advice on how to improve the guide and present it in a polite and constructive fashion.

Sounds like a great concept :) With enough practice I'm sure you will be able to convey it well! It's also great to have a story behind your work, which you're starting to do :) It gives your art more meaning and narrative.

Yes a portrait is a human usually from the shoulders up. I also know of a few other great tutorials about human anatomy in general - for both males and females.

RuneScape Fan Art & Crafts - Sneak Peak
Not really. I have read a lot of tutorials but honestly I don't follow the guidelines I probably should for drawing human anatomy. For example, most people suggest laying down a grid so everything is where it should be (eyes are exactly in the middle of the head, etc). I just kind of go for it. For me, I improve through constant years of practice rather than abiding by guidelines like that. However, you may find that guidelines help you. Someone I watch on deviantART actually just submitted a portrait tutorial. It's for colouring as well as lineart. If you're interested, I'll link it to you later :) (I'm on my phone right now). But for me, I just spend a lot of time observing the real world and photos and practice practice practice. I used to suck at drawing eyes but then I literally drew them every day in my first year of high school (not following any specific tutorials) and by the end of the year I was pretty good :)

Thank you! And I'm sure I will! I might actually draw some RuneScape art for the month of December. I feel like drawing polar bears!! So I might draw an Acheron scene which would be a lot of fun since I could completely use my imagination :)
