  1. I've seen Black Swan. I wasn't too fond of it. I thought it was too weird. Of course I could tell that it was meant to be an artistic movie and appreciated in that sense.. but meh. Most people seem to be crazy about it though.
  2. Week 15 - January 14, 2011 [hide][/hide]
  3. Much better  This kind of photography is extremely addicting though - beware :P Once you get into two colours of food colouring... fun fun fun!
  4. You guys are awesome, thank you! <3: <3:
  5. Hi :) I'm locking this since you already have the same video posted in the Graveyard, which is the correct forum for it. RuneScape Media is only for artwork based on RuneScape (drawings, fake screenshots, music videos, etc.). You're still welcome to carry on with your other thread in the Graveyard though! Feel free to PM me with any questions.
  6. If you're trying to find someone, Ctrl+F would be quicker anyway :P But I'll find out how long it would take to get this implemented. If it would take a while, it probably won't happen, unfortunately.
  7. A little disappointing :( Other than a few extra pieces of information, it's mostly just a timeline of RuneScape. That doesn't give us much more information than we already knew. I would have preferred to see a lot more effort put in with more "behind-the-scenes" information detailing how they came up with these ideas, why they implemented them, etc.

It's hard to actually get a sense of the picture when we can't see it properly head on :P These are all taken at awkward angles.

Honestly this is the dumbest thing I've seen in a while. Even though the whole idea of zodiac sign -> birth -> personality -> etc. is BS, they still have historic and sentimental value. Someone can't just wake up one day and decide to change it all. I don't care what they say, I'm an Aquarius for life! EDIT: Article more focused on the change and why it happened: Why did your zodiac sign change? We asked the astronomer who started it all Zodiac signs in general are a bit of a joke, I think. They may be rooted in scientific knowledge, but the applications are silly. As far as correcting it to coincide with scientific facts.. it's just something that isn't important and shouldn't be messed with when they have so much more meaning/sentimental value now.
  10. dsavi brings up some good points. Right now it's not particularly visually appealing. It's kind of jagged, overly complicated and the words just feel all over the place. You have to make a pretty big effort to figure out what you're saying.
  11. I use PhotoShop :^_^: Works very well.
  12. The Departed - I had seen it before but still an epic film
  13. Well the 2D aspect of the cards work because the entire form is like that. In his picture we have a very 3D image. We have a 3D perspective, a sense of depth (the first), a body that is not flat (shading, it's not straight on, etc.). But then the head is totally flat so it just doesn't fit or look right. You really need to go one way or the other imo (2D or 3D).
  14. There wasn't much of a choice :P That was the roll back, mmmyes? I was actually referring to the end of ScapeBoard when the domain and database were lost so the forums were started over basically from scratch :P
  15. There wasn't much of a choice :P
  16. He's not that lucky.
  17. I've played LOTRO for a few years and a tiny bit of WoW.
  18. You walked on the water? Are you Jesus?

  20. I know exactly what you mean! I so badly miss the "golden ages of BlogScape!" There were (and still are, probably) some truly amazing people and blogs here :) And blogs are totally filled with memories. It's like your own personal RuneScape history. Anyway, great to see you!
  21. Haha fun idea :P I definitely agree with Danq though - the image looks too 2D. The face, for instance, should not be a profile view. It should be more like 3/4 view.
  22. I'm not going to judge what Jagex's intentions were or if they lied, etc. But if they always intended to have a petition followed by a proper poll, I think that's pretty stupid and doesn't make much sense (given their reasoning). They said that the petition was to gauge the support for the changes... well a poll is an even better way to gauge support. So that doesn't make much sense. More likely the petition, which was surrounded by controversy, was a way of promoting the changes and giving RuneScape some extra publicity. While a poll still would have done that, I think that because the petition was more controversial there was more discussion, more raging articles, and thus the information was spread more quickly. I guess we'll never know :P
  23. I watched The Town last night.. I don't see what all the excitement is about. I thought it was meh. It wasn't intense enough for me to really enjoy it. The whole movie seemed very calm except for like 2 parts and to me that just made it boring and kind of slow.
