  2. What? A god? I don't see any... :P

The RuneScape Media forum is for artistic videos/images only :) I see you already have a similar thread in the correct forum (Graveyard). Feel free to add this video to that thread.
  4. This guide is really awesome - thank you :) I'm a total combat/slayer noob and this has helped me a lot over the past few days
  5. Thanks so much! I'm glad you like the layout too! You frighten me!
  6. Just do your best to keep yourself occupied (in any way). Don't give yourself free time to let your mind drift over to her. Go out with friends, play sports, focus on school, get involved in a new activity, etc.
  7. We'll see about getting this fixed :)
  8. I got 85 attack today and used overloads for the first time  I also went from like 5-27 dungeoneering, which has made me decide that it's pretty darn boring :P
  9. I really enjoyed The Tourist :) I suppose it's kind of weird because it's such an odd combination of comedy, drama and thriller. And maybe that's the problem. It's not the best in any of those categories. It doesn't have enough comedy to be well liked for having great comedy, it's not enough of a drama to be ranked against great dramas and to be considered among them, and it's not enough of a thriller to rank against great thrillers. The weird combination kind of puts it in a category of its own which leaves you little to compare it to (at least with the movies I've seen). But it's definitely worth a watch (theaters or rental) and I liked the ending ;)
  10. If you have to force it, it's probably not going to lats long imo :P
  11. You would be better off buying the pouches. It would probably take less time to buy them and make the money back via runecrafting than making them yourself. Either that or abyss, definitely.
  12. Hi guys! We have heard back from Jagex and they chose a selection of questions to respond to. The answers can be found both in the first post and below: [hide=Jagex Wilderness and Free Trade Responses]Q: What do you, Jagex, plan on doing to combat RWT? Obviously, with the re-installment of Old Wilderness and Free Trading, it will spike as soon as the features are re-installed. If it gets to out of control, will you remove these features again? ~ RunesRath A: Well be stepping up our efforts to combat RWT and botting and were spending more than ever in this area. Well be monitoring everything very closely and we will do everything in our power to ensure the gameplay and changes can remain. We are also looking into new ways of punishing cheaters who buy gold. Q: What D&D's will you be moving out of the wilderness? Will Penguins and Clue scrolls both be moved from the Wilderness? How about the Mage Arena? Green Dragons? ~ PereGrin A: Regarding D&Ds: penguins will be staying, clue scrolls will still take you into the Wilderness on occasion but far less frequently than they do. The mage arena will be a safe area as it was originally, and green dragons will remain dangerous. Its worth noting that content that does remain e.g. beacon networks for example will have increased rewards for those who undertake the risk. Q: Will Revenants drop the PVP items (Vesta, Statius, etc.)? ~ PereGrin A: The Revenants are being relocated to a pvp enabled dungeon. They will have all pvp unique drops such as brawlers, corrupt dragon and the various statuettes. They will no longer teleblock or freeze you but can still change combat styles to keep things interesting! Q: What will happen to our combat levels and how will summoning be worked into old style wilderness? ~Naraku893 A: Your level will be displayed as follows: playername 126+12 for example. Your combat level in the Wilderness will act as though you didnt have any Summoning, so will be the old max of 126. The Summoning level +X will simply demonstrate your potential to summon aid. If the player above were in level 3 wilderness he could fight those with combat levels between 123 and 126 inclusive. You would see the +12 and so you should be wary of that player having the ability to summon any familiar which could be particularly dangerous in multiway! Q: Will the GE volume limits remain or be removed? What about the 4 hour time limit between buying and selling the same item? ~ Impressionist A: Buying restrictions will remain in place. These exist purely to reduce market monopoly and ensure a higher number of players can buy high demand objects like godswords. Q: How will item lending and untradable items (especially dungeoneering equipment) work with the new wilderness? ~ Impressionist A: One of three things will happen to untradeables. Some objects will vanish, some will drop cash instead like the anchor and now Korasis sword. Finally other items will drop a tradable equivalent (like Summoning headgear thats been enchanted would drop an un-enchanted version). Most popular untradeable PvP equipment will not vanish. Lent Items are not allowed in at all, and will be put in your bank/inventory or returned to the owner depending on inventory space. Q: How long has the thought of returning free trade been around? Along with that, has work been done on it before the vote? ~ Danqazmlp A: We always wanted to bring back the Wilderness but we needed to know that we could do safelyThe only work done before the vote was to see how long it would actually take to re-implement (Development/QA/graphics etc.) and what we would have to do to existing content. The list we came up was condensed down to the list of things that would probably need to happen that youve probably seen on the Referendum page. Q: Will there ever be new content (minigames, quests, etc) in the wilderness after free trade is brought back even though it's been said current content of these types will be re-located? ~ Den A: The Referendum was to put the Wilderness and Free Trade back as close to the original as we can realistically get. Theres no reason once its back that we cant put some new content in the Wilderness but it would be designed with the risk and dangers taken into account. Q: Will there be other "referendums" in the future regarding Runescape? ~ Earth_Poet A: This Referendum has certainly been very popular and its great to see such a huge number of players taking part to have their say. This is certainly an option we might look at again though I feel it would depend on the topic or update were considering. I wouldnt expect one for every weekly update though! Q: How do you feel this will effect the RS Economy? Do you believe it will make things worse, better, stay the same, or get worse/better, but balance off after a few weeks. Was the impact of the economy taken into consideration when making the decision to bring back the old ways? ~ RunesRath A: We believe that returning to the free-trade model and increasing our efforts to tackle RWT, whilst giving you the freedom and increased control over prices will be better in the long run. We realise itll take a little while for those who remember the old days, as well as those who are currently used to the Grand Exchange.[/hide]

Congratulations - that's awesome!
  14. Ugggghh what! No, just no. They can't make another Matrix movie. It's done. This is pretty ridiculous. I don't really agree with this though. Yes any movie filmed in 2D and converted into 3D ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. It's almost painful and uncomfortable to watch. Not cool  But Avatar, which was filmed to be a 3D movie looked absolutely fantastic in 3D. So if done correctly, the Matrix (and a lot of movies) could look cool in 3D. But if they half ass it and do what almost all people do and convert it into 3D afterwards then yes, it will suck. But since they're "meeting with James Cameron" it sounds like they might be doing it properly like he did with Avatar.
  15. Given that before that point he has been continuously saying that he does not know the account name, I'm guessing he was replying to: "Don't let losing an account ruin the fun of training a character." "But I do..................." Meaning that the account was so far along and he was so personally attached to it that starting over would not be fun for him.
  16. But I do................... So it's totally NOT possible to recover this account? If you set recovery questions, you could recover your password. But he'd still have to know the account name.
  17. I don't even think there's a way to get in touch with them and have them help. Of course they have their Account Help forum but I don't know how much they actually help the people that post there. And your case is certainly an odd one. I think the only way even they could solve it would be to make an IP address connection, and even that may not work if your IP address has changed at all.
  18. What failures! I am disappointed!
  19. Would you have taken any screenshots of the account, level ups, etc. and either kept them on your computer or posted them online somewhere?
  20. If you can't remember the username (and can't get it through the above methods) there isn't really anything you can do :ohnoes:
  21. I plan on getting an announcement up about this soon, I'm just waiting for.... something ;) And I'll work on making an image for it so it can appear outside the drop down menu.
  22. Look at me! Playing RuneScape and everything! :XD:
  23. After some discussion we have decided to lock this thread. We believe that it was already thoroughly discussed in the previous topic and we do not need to start all over again with arguing in circles. Please do not create the topic again, now or in the future.
  24. xpx is correct. Numismaster was extremely displeased when he was quoted on the first post of the previous thread (see below) and this quoting out of context was one of the reasons that the thread was locked. As such, I have removed the quote from the first post. If this thread follows the same direction of the previous thread, it will also be locked. And as a note to people who disagree with this theory: this thread will only survive as long as you continue to bump it. If it gets to a point where you've said all that you need to say and you're arguing in circles, stop posting so the thread can die naturally.
  25. What Sy_Accursed said. It would drive away so many new players. When you first start the game you don't know how things work, you're not used to the game mechanics, you don't know what to do, etc. It's not uncommon to die pretty often and to continue having to start over would really put people down. When I was a new player I got frustrated enough when I lost my items when I died. So if my stats got reset too, I probably would have quit years ago.
