Woot, recovered my 15M loss from arcanes with this sale: This guy was selling for med cause his shield didn't sell in the GE somehow. Guess he had too much money. Had some fun at fight pits with it: After a while I got horribly piled and trash talked by a group of people though. "Divine sucks for pvp" and whatnot. Lame people these days... Then tried selling for max.

I dont know if furies and regen braces and the such have been removed but I'm positive aobut infinity and fremmy rings. I can see these items going up in the long run, but a crash will probably follow within a week or so, look at the Dfh. The only thing I dont see crashing soon is inf robe and bottom since they are so dirt cheap. Edit: Yay! I bought one for mid from a guy earlier, i will report if it sells at max.

I think those will crash pretty soon as it seems. People are selling for only 12M. Look at dfs... They already are. God i'm good :-)

Better to alch the Staves as they alch for 9,300 gp each. Much better then selling unless you can sell for 9,301+ which i doubt you can. You may get less profit, but if you make you own Natures or collect them from drops, but you also get Magic exp on top of that. You don't break even crafting like that. You still lose money because you can easily sell the staves for 8.2k each. But yes, it's very handy to buy them, i do it daily. Yes you can sell them right after you buy them. But if you want you can spend a little bit more on air orbs, and make air battlestaves. Which them alch for 9.3k. You still make profit. Not as much if you just sold the battlestaves, but you still make profit along with getting crafting and some magic exp. And you don't lose any money any where in this. You do lose money by deciding to craft them rather than selling them. However, you make more money back than you lose by the discount price that Zaff's offering. But basicly, you are making b staves, and you lose whatever the difference is between a fully made b stave (9080 or so) and the raw material GE price (which is 1200 + 8200, or something). It doesn't matter where those b staves come from. The same principle applies to alching for instance. Some people say: "I break even with alching because I make my own natures". That's bs, you don't break even then. You just compensate your loss by runecrafting.

The thing is there has to be a decent demand on the item that isn't from merchants. Third age actually looked half way decent and was a decent armour however infinity realy isn't that good so the natural demand is very low. So it won't rise as much as 3rd age did but it will go up do the the majority supply being cut off. Of course you can't forget the boots, book, or wand though, which are actually useful and used, which would definitely fall into his theory. The thing is, the boots never crashed. They are still somewhat worth getting through MA. Mage's book is somewhere in between. Wand is true, it should be 2.5M if you compare the pts it take to the pts it takes for inf boots.

Well, for the dfull helm it applies to, and it seems everyone knows that. But the DFS for instance I still sought after, and still comes in game at a steady rate. I dont see anyone getting infinity tops at the MA for instance at this price. @ Wachtwoord: that's the problem yes... :-)

Just a few suggestions from my experience at my last trip: I'd like to suggest d'hide as a very good alternative for karil, especially when you have a unicorn. First, it's cheap Second, it has the same ranged bonus as karil (some people don't get this and use karil in safe spots) Third, it's magic def isn't that worse and you get better melee def in place. With a unicorn i survive just fine on d'hide. all in all, I dont find the 1M+ risk of karil's justified, even though you can get back in time for your grave. I do just fine with d'hide and unicorn. Also, a skillcape is a very good alternative for the accumulator if you are using broad bolts. I mostly can pick up most anyway, and even if I can't, it's only 500gp. I'm not sure wether the +4 prayer will make up for it, but i like it nonetheless.

I know this doesn't really belong here but I wanted to discuss it here since opening a new topic about it would be even worse, and probably regarded as price manipulation propaganda. So, my question/theory is: What stops infinity from being the new gilded legs, or whatever you wanna call it, for a few weeks? Let's see at its situation: You can now only get infinity robes at the mage arena. However, nobody in their right mind spends 3x the points of inf boots, on an inf skirt, which costs 3x less. So as long as infinity bottom, hat, top, master wand, and book are lower than 2M (and worth getting at MA), those items are practically discontinued, i.e. no more are coming in the game. This means these items have A LOT of potential. Atm, infinity is bought out, but a lot of items with more questionable potential are bought out too, so I'm not sure how long it will last. What do you guys think? Am I overanalyzing?

Apperently pvp'ing (gaining potential and then tricking) is over 1M an hour with this update. Who doesnt want to make that money? You can even train skills while gaining EP.

I don't think you grasp the concept of inflation. Someone losing an AGs doesn't counter inflation. That AGS is an item, not coins. The 70M someone payed for them is still in the game. Coins are only leaving the game through skills like construction (planking) and summoning (shards). And there's a difference if people make money here, or at Bandos. If they make money from pvp, they get money by creating money actually. If they get money through Bandos, they get money because someone pays them GP that's already in the game. No money is created here.

I can plow through a task of 200 with just a bunyip, a few tuna's (mostly I don't even touch them, but just in case), wearing barrows armour with a whip and a rune defender. I use super sets of course (including super def). Yet, i have blocked them...

Aren't you supposed to be banned :-) But yet, from what I heard this update is bringing billions of extra money in the game. Sometimes I feel like they never think about the consequences of updates. And N64, I wouldn't be too sure of that actually (that they keep track of the amount of gp).

So mystic, combat braces and the lot still get dropped? I thought those were removed too.

Actualy pvp doesn't take money out of the game. Or, at least, I've never seen anyone pking with 10m cash instead of max mage gear. Yep yep. Items going out of the game and money coming in. Rara, would item prices go up?

I meant north western one, oops. Trip went pretty fine onnce I got the hang of it. Managed to kill a demon within one shield :-) (those 40+ hits with GS are so fun to watch).

That's a lot of artifacts. But more importantly, I still see poisoned bolt drops and even a Dragon med drop. Aren't those supposed to be removed? (or was the guy wearing a dmed).
