the problem of rune is, you do need many many many food for mithril, the stock amount of potato with cheese is good enough to stay for a while

there are potato with cheese on the food store there, cheap and good food (10gpea, 10 in stock, heals 16), that is the key thing to keep you stay forever in there

it is not slightly faster, it is a lot faster... d axe head wont come off easily like rune head does, hence increase the speed... a lot!

if you really have trouble with it, bring a cannon, that would do the dirty 50 brutal addy with composite orge bow (and arrow picking) is more than enough

granite helm and granite plate are both better than rune in all stats but for the helm, warrior/berserker or even helmet of neitiznot is the better version to go granite legs and granite shield have lower melee defence bonus, but higher range defence bonus... generally is not useful, as only a handful npc would attack with range... boots, that stupid npc just wont sell it to you... for granite, plate is the only thing that you should aim for granite weapons... maul has special attack and rune weapons dont have (if you ignore throwing axe and claws)... but dragon weapons are not hard to get either, unless you have trouble with gaining 60 attack, granite is not the thing to go boots, for melee, either climbing boots (10gp) or if you want some defense bonus, rune boots (check price guide for this) combat bracelets requires you to go to legends guild to recharge

around 2k minds, 3k irons and some amount of feathers and steel arrows with 78% left anyone can do it within 90%

the reason why jagex cannot make some high level raiding dungeons, like some other *cough* famous *ahem* mmorpg... is because there is not enough people with 99lv (or maxed) combat stats... pc is the key to get you some exciting updates....
