  1. You need to ensure you are maxed in terjms of range as much as possible whilst still under 56 combat. So you ought to have either 63, 70, or 77 range. Then just max your strength along the way to stay range based. 1 prayer, and 1 def forever remember.
  2. Tanking avianses is your best geepee maker atm that does not involve woodcutting or runecrafting!
  3. Get it now - if you must wait - then get it after completing all F2P quests.
  4. P2P, or F2P? Great cash monsters in P2P are fleshies, full rune will see you last here until you are fully loaded with fires, noted iron ores and ranaars. F2P is much more limited, so roaches are best.
  5. 9/10 - love the 1 def, 1 prayer btw. Just raise your strength to maximise your KO potential in low level crater. Keep yourself at least 2 range levels away from gaining a combat level, as you rack up range levels fast in BH. Good luck pking, and staying under the 56 combat barrier - after that you are confined to pjer haven, aka PvP. Keep 1 prayer for as long as you can, and 1 def fo lyfe!
  6. Stay 1 prayer until either of your range or strength stats are above 80. Until then - ignore all other advice regarding raising prayer. Your stats atm are too crappy to be a decent pker so start over staying 1 pray. If you insist on keeping this build, then no more prayer, get strength and range to 70, and attack to 40. then pk in low level crater in a team. I'm sure you will get protect item prayer by then too to save your R2H - so that may push you over the 55 combat range.
  7. Agree, 77 range is way to low to start chinning - esp if you are using red chins. Start chinning using greys if you are going to do it at lower levels, as the exp difference is less noticable at lower levels. Start chinning with reds after 90 range and you will get 200k per 1k chins provided you pot and use void.
  8. 1k would do it for me - a reasonable amount I reckon for a 99 range cape and a ton of geepees!
  9. Once you have 40 attack, and 50+ strength, the addiitonal hitpoint xp you get from 40 range in negligable. It will increase the rate in which you gain levels by 10k hitpoint xp, but once you are into the 60+ in strength levels, it makes very little difference anyway. get it, the extra defense bonus, and mage defense bonus is very nice, and is also very handy when training.
  10. Thanks for the help - still stuck with the prayer question really, so will stick with 1 for now. Am a F2P pker so 50 attack does not sit well with me. Seems to be a waste of 10 strength levels. Would only consider raising attack once 40/99? OR if I made the switch to P2P pking, which is very slim due to the d claws spec wiping the PvP world of any fun.
  11. I am a F2P pker, who trains in P2P. I have 40 attack, 75 str, 78 range, 1 def, 1 prayer and am currently 56 combat. What should I do now that I am 56 combat? I would prefer to keep my 40 attack as is, and def is staying at 1 forever. Options as I see it are: Keep training range/str to 84/91 then 91/99 keeping 1 pray, or get pray at one of the stopping points. Pray would be 31, rather than 44 until I had 91 range anyway and would be raised primarily through questing. Any other obvious things I am missing? I have resorted to training agility when I can't be bothered pking lolz!
  12. Best use of a cannon is by doing slayer tasks - esp Sumona tasks. A quick and cheap way to go from 70-85 though is using bronze knives at caged ogres, fire giants etc with cannon in tow.
  13. There is also no defense requirement, so pures will use them and they provide the best defense benefit for 1 def players. They also disable the rune xbow and dragon tipped bolt special, so they are handy for high level pkers too!
  14. Use bronze knives at fire giants til 90, then chin your way to 99 at aper atol. Get an accumulator asap - it has a great range boost and pick up ammo as an added bonus.
  15. Hard to rate: Give us combat and prayer level. Entire stats pls.
  16. I think we could all do with a tool like this!
  17. Spiders if your def is decent, otherwise fleshies. Both are semi afk'able.
  18. I have used them on several skills. Often on one that would raise me up a level, or one that is very slow and difficult to train. Herby is one I have used many lamps on, especially from around 30-40ish. Runecrafting and slayer were the other 2 I would have put most of my lamps into.
  19. Reds will cost you around 310k per hour more to use, but will gain you 60k more xp per hour using them and will take less time to get tot your goal. So from say 92-99 it will take 9 hours longer using grey chins, but will cost 4.35M less. If your income is less than 480k per hour, use greys. If more then use reds :)
  20. I would go with the 2 def pure. Quest your way to 60 attack for claws and D scim and 44 prayer.
  21. A range tank in mid BH is someone with 99 range, 90 def, 44 pray while still under the 101 combat mark. 40 def is a rune pure, not a tank. 40 def provides very little additional benefit to a range. Rune helm, and rune chain, or dhide body is all the extra protection you get. Str pures with 40 def though get to wear full rune - so its more beneficial for them.

I am in complete agreement. This would balance this weapon out, giving the power to those who deserve it, while still allowing us range pures a chance! To date I have died 5 times to claw users who have rune out of a safe zone and 2 hit me. I did not have a chance against this weapon when used like this. 4 dds specs I can eat through, 2 claw specs I cannot. Surely a nerf is coming to eliminate the spec from low level players?
  23. 400,000 skill capes = 40B in just people buying the caspes alone, let alone the cash blown in getting some of the expensive 99s. Makes me realise just how pitiful my bank really is lolz!
  24. With full void and hawk eye, you should be getting at least 240k xp per hour and will go through between 1100-1200 chins per hour. Total chin count around the 37k mark. Greys are more economic in terms of xp per geepee, whilst reds are better in terms of maxing the xp per hour. You can get around 170-190k xp per hour using greys, and 240-260k xp using reds. Still very nice xp per hour using greys!
  25. It will take you around 55-60 hours total through chinning from 81-99 at a total cost of 45M (ballpark) Its not very effective unless you are around the 90+ mark though, so I suggest waiting til 93/94 if you are strapped for cash. It will save you around 20M if you wait, though it will require training for an additional 25 days non stop to get there. Training at avianses will net you 200k per hour easily which after 25 days will see you to your goal target of 20M and enoiugh cash to chin to 99 in 5 more days :) A very tidy 1 month goal :) Good luck!
