I need help with combat stats..
Your choices are limited. If you want an 'all round character' - then train up your att and def to match your str. This will bump up your combat nicely. However, if you want to pk with those stats - you wil not be very successful. You need much higher hitpoints levels so try taining range to 70+, and mage to 70+ using damage spells. I would keep the def at 40 for a long time tbh, and train strength only.

Total play time...
Yea - I'd be around the 5k mark too I guess. 4 years x 45 weeks x 7 days x 4 hrs per day = 5040 hrs. I'd like to know for sure what the total time is, and compare to others with total times and achievements within it. It would be good to race to goals within a certain amount of playing time.

Pyro's f2p pure. Suggestions r always welcomed!
70 range is good, and you really ought to get 71 str to bump up your max R2H hit by +1. At those stats you will see you can gain another 7 range levels and still be under the 56 combat mark. Hitpoints though may be your downfall if you get 70 mage through combat spells. Sooo, the key for you atm is to have 77 range, 71 strength while still having low enough hitpoints to stay under the 56 combat mark. While pking in BH at level 50-55, few mages will be a problem to you. You will be wearing green legs/vams and have decent mage defence anyway. More range/str levels will be your key to maxing KO potential.

Dragon Claws
I am not assuming perfect hits. In videos seen to date, specs above 50 are extremely common - almost expected. Two of these wipes out a 99 stat player, while a medium spec of 60 wipes out another combat 50, 60 hp player in 1 hit. An Ags is not an option at the combat 50-60 player - even pures and no-one pk's PvP in Dharoks. The claws will become the only melee weapon worth taking into PvP battle soon. People will not risk 100M items to protect against getting 2 hit. Claw taggers will also roam PvP eliminating starglers. Claw tag teams will unleash additional specs on those lucky few who survived 2 specs. Whips will become a training weapon only - and pk'd with by the unlucky few who cannot get their hands on a set of claws.

Dragon Claws
You assume that PvP'ers pk in 'perfect' gear - alas a 100M shiled to block a claw attack. I am yet to see a 100M shield in PvP. The claws require 60 attack only, and at lower combat levels the divine shield is out of reach, as would 99 hitpoints. A pure with 60 attack, 99 strength, 1 def, 52 prayer will gobble up victims using these claws . Thats right, he will be 81 combat hitting mighty 70+'s each hit. Thats enough to spec out most opponants in the same combat range with 2 swipes. Claw pures will be all the rage unless these things get nerfed. Mark my words. The 60 attack, 50 str, 31 prayer pures with claws will stroll around protecting their claws while 1 speccing level 50's with ease. At least with a DDS you have 4 shots at eating out of them, they are inaccurate and often hit low, whereas the claws are incredibly accurate and hit constantly high. Stating that you need a 100M shield to survive a claw attack does not make the specials OK. To me it serves as ammo to get this thing nerfed.

Pyro's f2p pure. Suggestions r always welcomed!
70 mage, 70 hp is bad for that level. Get 70 mage if you like but get it through cursing, not through damage spells. Until you hit 56 cambat, you want to neglect yout hp a bit. After 56 combat, go nuts.

Dragon Claws
In any case do the videos not just prove how overpowered these things are? All but 1 or 2 duels in a 2 minute vid 2 specced for the win. At least with a dds you could eat trhough someone running in and unleashing 4 specs. No way can you out eat 2 claw specs. People will be non stop 1 iteming with these throughout BH and PvP. No way will I re-enter P2P BH/PvP wielding my dark bow, dragon arrows and dds.

Good Goal Stats?
Yer - you'd be on 49 hp, not 59. Good ranging stats to pk with thos, but woyuldnt bother with str until a lot higher. Go for 59 mage and fire blast for the KO.

I need alot of help!
Yep - more the merrier :)

I need alot of help!
1 more prayer level, and 30 additional range levels should see you hitting on rune. You would be better off to ramp up your strength level to around the 80 mark. Your hitpoints are shocking too at your level. You are in danger of getting 2 hit.

Is 65 slayer worth getting?
Kalphites are one of the quicker tasks with a cannon - don't see how you could rate these as slow.

Melee training in f2p.
Fight the level 35's in the SE corner room.

Need help on range training
Yer, use bronze knives on just about anything. 60 will come round very quickly. Go and do it on Fleshies, at least you will come out of it with an abundance of cash at the end :)

low level bh help (f2p)
Get 1 more strength level to hit 22's with R2H. or get 74 strength to hit 25's with corrupted drag battle axe in PvP. In fact every strength level from here is your friend to reduce the need to repot during fights. You won't be able to get 77 range, 71 strength and stay under 55 combat for very long due to your high hitpoints, so may as well maximise your KO probability through strength training for now. After 56 combta you should go back to range training to keep your stats maxed again. What to wear is general range pking gear, i.e Coif Strength ammy Leather body Green legs and vambs Normal boots Any cape Maple short and 100 addy arrows In your inventory should be: 10 Bounty Locate spells 1 Strength pot (4) Rune 2 Hander, or Rune Battle Axe (I prefer R2H) Rest swordfish (or lobsters). I usually take 1 lob, and the rest swords and eat the lob if I need to pick up arrows. Good luck in BH - it can be great fun if you don't take it too seriously. Loads of taggers, pjers etc reside there - but its fun to knock them off ;)

can lock or delete this <no more posts please>
Its doomed atm, but once you get 91 range you will see the true benefits of tanking. Keep training. If 77 is your limit for ranging, then yep - its doomed. Any 'pure' ought to strive to have higher hitpoints than combat level.

Good Attack Level to hit through Full Rune in F2P?
The players defence level is more important than just 'rune wearing'. My 99 ranger rips a 40 def pure rune to bits, but hardly dents the armour of a 99 def tank. Generally speaking, if your atack is higher than thier defence, you should hit through often enough. If your attack is way lower than thier defence, then you will struggle.

fastest way to 70 range for a f2p pure
I trained mine from 30ish to 70 at minataurs in SoS. From 50-70 at the level 23 ones.

dragon claw's
You can use the special if you haven't done the quest, and if you are only borrowing the item. The claws are the best weapon in game for PvPing, Dueling, Bhing etc. Not so great for monster hunting, but these things must surely rise above the cost of whips and stay there for a very long time?

Range pking: Tank vs Range/2h *ANSWERED*
Do not get any prayer until you're range or strength levels are into the high 80's. Leave def at 1 until the same levels. Once you get either, you enter the realm of most other pures at those levels. Be unique with 1 def, 1 prayer - all prayer will do is allow you to protect your R2H, or add some attack bonuses - but with the downside of adding combat levels. Combat levels are a pures nightmare - dont get unnecessary levels.

How to sell fire runes!
I have a pure who has trained a bit at fleshies, and for quite some time he would sell the fire funes for a nice sum of cash. For the last few days there has been no movement on the fire rune front - with the exception of 1k being sold 2 days ago. Is there a way to get these things sold? Yes they are all at 9gp each, and at one stage I split them into two groups - neither sold.

Dragon Claws
Imagine all the offers in GE atm for em! Surely a nerf is on its way - I mean imagine hitting 18/18/36/72 lolz

Dragon Claws
Yay - another impossibly high hitting melee weapon - exactly what all mages are looking for! If only the dark bow had two specs, or any mage attack could wipe out over 100hp in 1 spec. Maybe yet to come?

Finders, keepers: RuneScape vs. real world ethics
Scenario 1 - Pure profit for me. Scenario 2 - see scenario 1. If however the cash was in a wallet with ID for scenario 2, then I would endeavour to return the wallet and cash to its rightfull owner. If it was a lazy hundy floating in the breeze - its mine :)

....Help?
^ What they said. I would go 1 step further and suggest raising your magic as high as possible using failed curse. At 77 range, 70 strength - your hitpoints may push you over the 55 combat level. If you can make it, then those stats will make for an awseome low BH pure. Good luck!

whether or not i should pk
I am combat lvl 51, and have 70 range, 69 strength - at 55 I will have 77 range, and 74 strength along with 72ish hp. Pures who are 55 combat will tear you to shreds, so I suggest to you to go and do your training before you pk solo. In a group you will be fine, as I am guessing you already have def.
