If I spent all my time calculating how many bars/bones/laps/mosters etc til my next/goal level - I would never get around to actually playing the game.

Dusties are good crimson charm droppers, and I get the most blues from Kalphites. Waterfiends and Rock Lobsters though are definately the best crimson droppers in game.

Anywhere the critters wil auto attack you is good. Fleshies or red spiders are good xp - but fleshies are more crowded due to the enormous amounts of stackables and rannars they drop.

I have irons, steels, hellhounds and wyverns all blocked :)

Farming tab, Treasure Trails Tab, and a miscellaneous tab for all the junk that doesn't really fit into a category, yet I find myself searching for them often enough!

As a paying customer, I don't care who developed parts of the game I play - I just want the story to carry on. The 'Oh, well you see Mod G no longer works for us, so we have put that on hold' excuse cannot wash in todays environment. Build a bridge, and move on. Get someone else on the job, and move on Bob. While a few open ended sorylines are healthy, 3 or more years to carry them on is not. I for one agree wholeheartedly with your post. One of the better ones this year :)

Add that if any additional info was required for me to get from my work computer, then it would be nice to know BEFORE I take it all home! Anyway - here is what happens: I copy all the cache files into the 98SE system folder (which is where the RS cache stuff was, and when RS laods up it creates a new Cache directory under c:\ and ignores my new huge cache I have just installed! Looks like I just have to dl 80mb of cache file over the next few days. It makes playing RS unbearable though, as I dc each time I enter a new area. I may just have to make some bowstrings or something for a while :(

I had to reformat my home computer the other day, which of course deleted all remnants of RS. It will take weeks of downloading (yes I have old school dial up) to get my cache back up to scratch Sooooooo.... Can I do the following? I can access RS from work! My cache there is 73Mb, and looks healthy enough. Can I copy this and take it home and be all good? A potential problem maybe this though - work puter = Xp, home = 98Se! Any and all help appreciated - just don't mention getting a new puter k, it is in the pipeline!

It makes it hard on slayers who get them as drops, but soon enough we will be able to sell them again on GE.

Getting 52-57 will cost you 380k in buying 1400 sapphires, cutting then reselling. Buying hides and crafting from 57-99 will cost you around the 100M mark in deficit (thats after you have alched all the product) if you used the highest you can at all times. IF you stuck with green bodies from 63-99 though you would only lose 70M. Crafting is a very expensive skill to mass level, and you get diddly at the end of it (except a nice cape) - so think long and hard about it!

Do Feud quest - its very fast and a decent amount of thieving xp. After 41 I did Pyramid Plunder - its was much faster than master farmers or stalls, and at 51 the last 2 levels went by extremely quickly!

If you describe your computer specs, we may be able to advise - alas there are numerous things that could be causing your increased lag. Old computer on dial-up = mass lag!

Took me 1 hour to tele from Lumby to Varrock to Cammy to Ardy and then to rub duel ring to duel arena! Lag FTL :( I know that when I want to tele back to these spots that it will be lag free, but the time it takes to cache all these new maps is downright stupendous!

While the 240k xp per hour at 98 range was very nice indeed, its still possible to get 180-200k in chaos tunnels. This update has only left 1 spot die off, albeit the best and easiest.

4M is about 15 hours at avianses, so as long as using reds will save you 15 hours, then use them! I found that greys were about 60-80k per hour xp less than reds at ape atol at around the 95 range mark. You will get around 200k xp per hour using reds at 90 range.

I used many quests to level up skills. Eagles Peak to go up quickly in hunter levels. Feud quest to gain loads of thieving levels. Grand Tree, and Troll quests to get painful agility levels. Tears of Guthix have given me plenty of runecrafting and summoning levels too which is nice. These days I look at quests almost solely for xp, unless it gives me new training methods, or access to new areas/weapons.

As a first resort is easy and quick as long as you read a guide. Eagles peak is another easy one. Ghosts ahoy is a must do. Hand in the sand is easy enough as long as you have some teles and a glory. Myreque quests are easy and quite quick, not to mention they give you a fast way to do Barrows in the future. Mountain Daughter is easy Finish Sheep herder - its another fast one. Souls bane is very easy troll romance is easy Zogre Flesh eaters is easy too, and quite quick.

77 slayer and not one head yet. Lots more to kill though so maybe one day soon :)

I have been playing much differently since the Novemebr 07 updates. Slaying never entered the equation as a rune pure, but since the decline/eradication of pking - keeping low defense is now out the window has has opened up various other avenues of gameplay. I don't play as often, but enjoy the game nevertheless.

Your cb would be around the 70 mark with 70 deg, 70 range, 25 prayer and 65 hits. With 54 range, 40 def and 52 hits you would be combat 53/54. In the low level crater I just can't see how you would be able to survive with only 52 hits and still be able to KO with range only. Middle crater is the place for a defense pure as 99 range, 99 def and 99 hits will see you right on the 100 combat mark.

The new graphics requirements are that of a 4 year old computer, and the cost to get a 2nd hand computer that will run the new version would cost about $50US, or 10 months membership. My old 8 year old sucker wont run the new improved version, but it has provided me with a long overdue excuse to finally upgrade! It will not give me any advantage in gameplay against others, as 90%+ will also be looking at the same stuff I do.

I gave the review a 2/10. Write a review on a game you have played to its utmost ability, rather than play a very limited portion of one and review the entirety of it.

I got one after about 50 kills, and then a dry run for the next 250 or so.
