  1. It's interesting that people are so determined to knock this project. I would like to revisit this in a few years. Yes, I'm sure there will be some problems, but such issues are essentially inherent into the construction of any building, no matter the size or speed at which is was assembled. My theory is that people are insecure, and fearful about their position in the world. There are several Indians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Pakistanis, any number of people, that could all do your job, and likely better than you, if they were given the chance. However, they will not get that chance, for merit of their poverty, skin colour, or nationality. With greater globalization (which is inevitable, whatever the left/right would like to say) there will be greater equality. It's not going to be a leveling up for us, no matter the value that Thomas Friedman wishes to place on skilled labor and "roll-up-your-sleeves" work ethic. It has actually been surprisingly easy for me to reconcile with the fact that I will not be able to take from the world as much as the members of the previous generation did. I hope that I'm never so greedy as to turn my back on the principles of equality, or so sure of my country's superiority over others to wait, fascinated, with the sadistic hope that my pretensions of superiority will be confirmed. Ok. Once you have obtained a job, you may speculate about "the world." Until then, you don't have a valid approach. And I agree with Dupin, even if I would personally bump the time table up about 6 days a faster. To the underlined part, that is just plain wrong. Things built in China are utter [cabbage], and due to your lack of experience in the world, just in general, shows itself more clearly now. These building flaws do not happen in say, oh I don't know, America, Europe. China is trying to cut corners, and eventually they'll cut something they wish they hadn't. [/hide] Mate, have you ever been to China before? Have you seen the buildings? Take the 2008 Olympics for an example, all the building were top of the class, safe and sound, cleverly designed. Don't talk [cabbage] about someone you've never seen before, k? Don't take the one-sided news you Americans recieve, its called propoganda, and I guess it's working. Why don't you get some experience on this subject before you start generalizing things. Well I know more than you think I know, so I guess I can talk [cabbage]. By the way, Canada boy, you don't know where I get my news from, so don't pretend to, mmmk?

  5. Nothing in China is done right. While I am half kidding, the kind of material we buy from the Chinese are generally just shoddy. I read somewhere (I'ma find the link somewhere) that there are Chinese sheet rock accidents all the time where it just collapsed. Please do not extrapolate this where "so ur sayin everything the chinese make is bad?!" No. It's just very low quality. I WILL not be suprised if it just collapses soon.

No, I was beginning to feel like I was talking to a brick wall because the same arguments are used over and over. In the case of rape and incest, there are definite, legitimate concerns about long term abuse which abortion allows to go unchecked. For the estimated 1.1 million abortions that occur every year, it is estimated that only 1% are because of rape or incest. Although its a difficult position to hear - abortion kills an innocent human being. That's why there can't be exceptions, because you can't marginalize or trample on the most basic of rights for the least of us. Ok to start, if your going to throw statistics throw a reputable source - not a wiki, not fox news, not the Vatican. And most rape isnt consistent, its a girl walking alone who gets attacked. Do you feel in that situation that she should be forced to have the rapists baby? Also im tired of hearing its killing babies, its no different then an unfertilized sex cell besides the fact that its dividing. This is the brick wall I know we have on each other. I dont believe they are a person at conception and you do, can you argue this point without saying you are killing humans or killing babies? I think that a women who has something growing in her should be able to decide whether or not she wants to keep it. Also world population is reaching its maximum limit, but people in industrial countries choose to have less kids (via birth control and abortion) then they used to. Its unreasonable to tell people to not have sex, thats why the Popes replies of abstinence is the solution to aids is just hilarious. Strictly from a governmental standpoint abortion makes sense, less teenage mothers on welfare, more people finishing high school and seeking more education, less kids in rapidly over crowding school systems. Morals and ethics aside can you tell me one benefit there is to force people to be parents when they arent ready to be? Abortion also kills human beings. You buying a firearm does not necessarily affect another person, but abortion ends the life of a human being. At least with rape I thought you agreed with me that that baby shouldnt have existed in the first place. So lets say at the very least rape is an acceptable reason to get an abortion, but people may choose to do it as a form of birth control, thus the potential for abuse. A firearm very much can kill your fellow man or a bird or another animal. So accepting firearms is one and the same as abortion. My belief is that your values come from the fact you were raised in a republican - catholic, household. Care to disagree with me? I see where this has already gone; no point now in debating this anymore.
  11. sometimes i wish they would put TIF in a law and order episode.

  14. For many fetish cases, it's the first sexual experience that influences what type of fetish you have. I'm not going to analyze mine deeply for you guys, but I can assure you that if the girl I was with for the first time had made me do things with her feet, I'd probably have a foot fetish by now. Wow. Holy [cabbage]. That's very very true (for me) haha. Never even thought of that. Thanks. I had something so [bleep]ing witty and hilarious to respond to this. Then I sneezed. Now I forgot.

I'm taking a huge risk and not taking the placement test until Friday for my college. I've not done any math at all in 3 years, and while it's all coming back to me, I am not baout to risk this. I can only take the 3$ test every 5 months. If I F up there's no hope for math this semester. I say risk, because due to my schedule, I won't be able to sign up for classes until Tuesday. That's 4 days after normal people can sign up. I am afraid all the good classes will be taken.

Opinion alert. ---- Oh, so you know it's an opinion? So don't state it as fact. After all, babies have fingernails. FINGERNAILS. Everything is an opinion; we just choose to accept certain tolerances concerning scientific certainty as truth. No.

  21. I'd just take the best sandwich maker. But I do agree as well, they could by trying for infinity, but it IS a leap to say it WILL achieve to land on heads. People may say "but it's just a coin flip" extrapolate that to all the other kinds of things in life that are "50/50"... ON that matter, I do not believe in infinite universes, I believe in one. I have a question, would you steal from a beggar to feed your family? (ok so I stole this from a show)

Wait for it... Wait for it.... Wait for it.... NOW@! You think THATS bad, imagine universal healthcare! :XD: :XD: :XD: :XD: :XD: Got my math placement test tomorrow for college, and I am seriously worried. I can do the algebra/trig no problem but the [bleep]ing fractions. I KID YOU NOT. THey confuse the hell out of me. Don't ask how I can do trig and not fractions.

And who are you to force your opinion of abortion upon me? Also, I have no idea why your opinion was brought in at all, after all, we all have our own opinions. Is what you post is saying. And you're not authorized to tell me what to do (aka voting pro choice... Who are you to tell me to vote pro choice) People can go against God all the time, it's why sin exists. But to answer your question fully, I cannot. That too lengthly a debate, and I got class in 3 mins. (I may pm you my side though later on if you're actually interested)
