Hey guys! Ok, so despite the fact I've been playing RuneScape since mid '01, I know literally nothing of computers. I know no computer languages, no good specs, no nothing. So Anyways, this is my current laptop: And my dad got it as a refurb for ~$400 (my graduation prez) so I'm not too sure what specs it has (there are many different versions of this one, and it actually didn't come with a list. Hah.) Anyways, I love a lot about this laptop, except I have two HUGE issues: One. THis keyboard is simply microscopic, the poor chaps in FSC have to deal with my rampant typos 24/7 because my hands are so big. Two. No Graphics card. Whatsoever, simply a "graphics accelerator" which is non removable, so I have no way to upgrade it. Anyways, my mom offered to buy my laptop, because hers from 2002 conked out finally L. Idk what she's offering, but here's what I am looking for: A keyboard that has reasonably spaced keys (and hopefully a numpad.. If thats possible) A GRAPHICS CARD. Or the ability to add one... Either one. I would say a *basic* one, but I'm not too sure what that entails. If it could play Directx on Rs without have a heart attack, thats all I need. However, one that will let me play Portal 2 when it comes out, and the tf2 game I play like once every half year... If that counts as basic, thats fine lol. I actually would like to keep a widescreen monitor, because at 17" I can have RS +netflix instant play up at the same time, which is how I have such high levels in such horribly skills. But I would also like it slim, this laptop is in a wedge shape, I imagine that is so it cools easily, but I'd rather buy a cooling platform, because this is really bulky (thickness wise) Internal wireless card... NOt sure if this is standard at all lol, but I need one. Built in webcame (definitely not necessary, but if it's on there... lol) I'm not into brands, but I'd like it to carry windows, as I've never had mac and so I wouldn't really be sure how to use. Also I kinda spent like $70 on microsoft office (2007 that is) so... Yeah. However, if Mac is cheaper/a better fit I'll gladly take it. Memory isn't that important, I mean I have like ~60 word docs, 3 days worth of itunes, (music), Portal, Tf2, and maybe 20 or movies I downloaded onto itunes. Like I said, not *that* memory intensive. Although I think it's RAM (might not) that lets you have more things going on at once? Maybe? If so I want that. I honestly know nothing about Computer specs. So if I sound like an idiot... forgive me. (serious.. It's kind of embarrassing how little I know) And the almost most important part:Price Under$800. Thats basically the limit, unless I can con my mom to paying me ~$300 for the laptop, then I might be able to go over $800, or if you know if it's very worth it. I prefer refurbished, other than new. If anyone of you could point me to the right direction for a computer, and/or a site that sells refurbished laptops like that. Like I said, Windows, Mac, doesn't matter. (Infact, my sister has a macbook pro, albeit a $1900 one it's an awesome laptop. Last but not least, are laptops seasonal? i.e. are they cheaper in like October (after school starts... but a while before Christmas...?) then to say May. Cause I can wait. It is an amazing app, probably the only one I use (except for enhanced alarm clock, and Shazam (also amazing!)) You can crop songs and make ring tones any length from any song, etc. etc. Just supply the music.

Have you seen the player-owned-houses? Here's a little hint for you because I don't know how QA could have missed this one. This portion truly excited me the most. As fun as it is to escape from typical RuneScape and wreck havoc down in Daemonheim, I was really hoping this skill would have surface world application. While this isn't exactly what I pictured it certainly would be helpful nevertheless. I can only pray that there would be a secret dungeon with a new rune respawn :pray:. I would gladly level my dungeoneering much more adamantly if this will be the case. That being said, they better make the reqs on the steeper side if a miner like myself or any other skiller could truly benefit from less competition. I actually think the idea is fitting, it makes sense. Off-topic: Yea you have 99 Mining and I still see you at LRC quite often. Ok. Just so you all know, this is a rant. So I reserve the right to ignore anything you have to say that I don't like. Keep that in mind. OK WTF. Lexicus Runewright? Easy peesy. Rammernaut(sp) Easy Astea Frost web? Easy. Stomp? Easy. Ice Bones/Icefiend? Damn easy. GLUTTONOUS BEHEMOTH. [bleep]ing impossible. Every time I get it I die 4-5 times. I generally wear kata pl8 + legs, a full inven of salve eels, melee, pots, def pots, gorg spear (p++) (B) on slash. With pray mage and piety. If I used that setup on ANY other boss I would kill them without eating once. But with the Gluttonous I don't [bleep]ing understand. I will either not hit it for 15+ turns (not an exaggeration) or it will hit 700-800 damage back to back with range. RANGE. So I switch to range pray, bam 300 mage attack. Its flipping impossible, last lvl I had no kata ore so I had to fight it with only kata legs, also I had no lycopus so there was no sup melee. I died 16 times I think, the death penalty was 75%. Wth? Keep in mind most monsters are 140 ish at my level, time and time again Gluttonous Behemoth is 230 or so, that *has* to be a glitch, that soundds like a duo. I HATE THIS MONSTER. Ever found out you didn't know an embarrassingly common fact? Or something to that liking? Also, even though these aren't really "intelligence blunders," have you ever made a simple mistake? I'll start off -I used to think there was only 3 time zones in America, Eastern, Stretching from coast to ~Chicago/Central stretching to about Utah/Pacific going from Utah to Hawaii. lol. -I was once out of gas on the highway (apparently, the gas meter was broken on my parents car and they never told me) and I literally was there for like 5 minutes texting people "crap I ran out of gas" meanwhile thinking "I wish there was a way I could contact someone ugh, all I have is my stupid phone, I guess I should just start walking" ... #-o -For literally the LONGEST time I got Psychiatry, and Psychology mixed up. This was after seeing both for like 4 years... Never realized it. Hehe. -When I was younger I thought Texaco was the country and Mexico was the gas station. (I mean like really young, 5 or 6 ish) -Also, perhaps my most embarrassing one eva: Up to maybe the 6th grade I think, I thought Chicago was the state, and Illinois the city. I have it, however I've not been officially diagnosed (I guess because before I took Psych 201 last semester I thought everyone was like this, so I never bothered mentioning it.)
