(One reason) Because bots, while I don't agree with botting myself, aren't hurting anyone but their chance to not get banned. How's a mining bot going to find the head of it's pickaxe when if flies off? I could barely find it half the time. As much as I don't miss the harmful randoms (I can't count the number of times I lagged during one and then had to go get my pick or axe repaired), I'm starting to wonder if they shouldn't be brought back. I've seen increasing numbers of bots lately, especially in F2P mining areas. I once lost a rune pick when that happened. This being when my bank worth was 70k, and the run pick was 40k. i cried. In all srsness, I support bots, LET ME EXPLAIN BEFOEE YOU REPORT THIS POST. Sheesh. They bring raw materials cheap They are fun to [bleep] with (See Hunter Bots rant thread) They always have innovative names They are epic skillers They provide fun pk'ing in old wildy I sapport. Also, it's there account. If they wanna get banned, thats their problem. I only hate it when some botter says hes better than me, thats like deflating my e-chest then i rage. Edit: Ok actually I don't support bots, ex: rule breaking etc, I just like the effect they have on the game. I can find hunter spots fine even with them (or I can steal their spot) and all other skills bots don't affect me.

I'm hoping this is why they've brought back the BTS, actually. It's been said before, but I know myself and many others would be perfectly happy to endure a "no-update month" in order for Jagex to work ahead and release completed updates each week (regularly). Perhaps they've done so here, and are willing to announce each month's updates in a BTS because of it? I'm willing to do that as well (wait a month) however, I imagine Jagex will have an lolvacation month, and we will be stuck with stupid updates being delayed afterwards. Also, many people base buying mems for the month based on the updates, so I'm sure Jagex took that into account.

^This I feel that as long as it doesn't affect me in-game *directly*, I don't really care about it. What they want to do in their servers is none of our concern, its for Jagex to deal with. I really don't see the point in getting angry over something like this, its a waste of an emotion really. This. Private servers are always vastly inferior to the real game, so if someone wants to play a cheap knock-off of RS while risking infecting his computer, by all means go for it. :mellow: This. I personally only rarely do, if I have solid solid evidence. I did read your post, reading and comprehension are two separate skills. Yep. I was using the wrong kind of attack. I attacked a lvl 200 something with gorg pl8, gorg full helm, gorg spear p++ on crush style, with mage pray + piety, and melee fam. Easy as crap. Ate like 3 salves?

What they should do, as someone suggested on another thread, plan their updates so the whole thing is complete, with mainly only minor bug fixes before the month starts. That is most likely easier said than done, but... Might as well give it a try?
