999134
When GWD was released you had no summoning, no extremes, no turmoil and a very limited amount of godswords to go around. Now days however you can kill bandos with ease on a level 100 in a team. Are we to see GWD become as easy as the King black dragon or giant mole? Even the corperal beast has now been soloed and level 40s have got a firecape.short video to show how easy bandos is.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxXN3ANKTYkDiscuss. Mole solo :D find fault with this one -.-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_rE_qeVZWU Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]

I'm assuming it's your video too since it appears to be your channel, nice try though :???: I agree with you though. Viv
i hate bosses they are just not my style.... but somehow i like some dungeoneering bosses. with extremes/overloads packyaks turmoil things are easier but they are earned to be easier imo. Bandos is probably the easiest solo thing for the rewards =p

xxshady
I do think the original bosses don't have the same effect anymore because frankly any old content can get outdated pretty quickly in a game that changes so quickly. I also think that surface bosses are plain boring. Of course, for anyone who is maxed out they are going to be relatively easy, but I think theres an inherent flaw in doing surface bosses on Runescape nowadays with the advent of Dungeoneering. Dungeoneering bosses are fun because they don't have the insane risk of bosses like Corp and GWD to lose all of your valuables, and many of the Dungeoneering bosses have really cool, unique gameplay mechanics. Not only are the original surface bosses old and outdated with the new additions like curses etc, but they have a pretty bad risk-to-reward ratio for casual players, and I just disagree in general with the notion that you have to risk all of your valuables to go boss-hunting unless you are an extremely dedicated RS player, so i'm glad that Dungeoneering came out for the regular RS players to do some fun boss-hunting. Just my 2 cents ;) -------------------------------------------------------------------
Sy_Accursed
Its a fact of a game like rs. The bosses always become easy over time, its nothing new. Afterall bosses are made to pwn in the situation they were created form; but new methods and equipment bound to post-date them and make em easier. I mean there was a day and age where the skeleton that's attacks you during the restless ghost was like the hardest monster in rs ever, of course until better armour came along and things like Giants and demons. Quasar
I'm sorry but I have to disagree with what you said about risk and reward. Sure you may die once or twice and not get blessed, but as someone who has gotten 600m+ in drops and knows people with over 2b in drops, it's ridiculous to say the risk to reward is unbalanced. best drops (reasonably accurate/up to date): 1x Elysian Sigil (LS), 1x Arcane Sigil (cs), 4x Armadyl Hilt (solo at 100m, 100m, 50m, and 5m), 2x Saradomin Hilt (solo at 25m), 5x Draconic Visage (34m,1.2m,1.2m) and various cs/ls/ffa Nex splits. Youmu
Sure, bosses like that have become easy now. However, some bosses in Dungeoneering deals heavy damage, can play around with you a lot, and even do some nasty tricks to make the fight long. The shadow-forger and the pummeler are very good examples of this. Krampell
Sad thing that it's fake though. Some things to tell.Seeing as it's your yt account (I assume) it has to be your pure account.Your pure account has 77 summoning, in other words can't use iron titan. To get to GWD you have to accept 3k attack xp from Death Plateau. Your pure only have 1 attack so you couldn't have completed the quest.Last thing and something others have spotted. Strongstack's level was orange for you when you right clicked so you would have to be 130+ combat level. Nice try but it would be shame if it was real. Bosses are too easy, just that video was blatantly fake and had to point it out <_<And obviously a level 37 wouldn't have that high of a prayer level, or that high of an hp level, which is obvious since at 37 combat (most of which is def and summoning), you'd get KOed so fast. And, I doubt a level 37 would have curses. But back to the actual discussion, the fact that essentially the recoil from the curse and the Iron Titan killed the Bandos boss while sipping brews, is pretty impressive, and means things are getting pretty easy. But then again, the bosses get easier at higher levels with lots of upgraded equipment. So really, is it that bad that higher levels, better equipment and supplies gets you easier kills? I don't think so.
999134
even though the fact i said it was on a level 37 is a little untrue, i still mananged a bandos solo in rune chain armour and no weapon >.>. Lugia_Lvl138
Yes, the bosses are too easy now. I go so far as to say that Bandos is and has been easier than say the KQ, and that today's GWD bosses ARE as easy as the KBD was in 2007. On my most recent solo trip, I killed 28 bosses in addition to the several FFA kills I got when 2 people tried to crash me. I highly doubt I could solo the KQ 28 times in 1 trip(not that I would even want to try with the biggest drop being worth about 7m) seeing as she's in 2 forms and Bandos only has 1 form. At Arma, I can now do 15+ kills a trip solo easily. Even before Extremes and Curses, I was able to solo Sara 18-20 times a trip. 4x Phat owner: Blue, Green, 2x Purple 3100+ GWD bosses soloed.Solo GWD Drops:5 Bandos Plates, 4 Bandos Boots, 3 Bandos Hilts, 2 Arma Helms, Arma Skirt, Arma Plate, 3 Arma Hilts, 4 Zammy Spears, Steam Staff, 15 Sara Swords, 6 Sara Hilts, 29 Shards. Lugia_Lvl138
If it wasn't for new chaotic weapons and super antis id find kbd more challenging than bandos Although arguable, that's still sad considering the Bandos boss is not only over double the KBD's level, but is also supported by 3 130+ minions. Not to mention his drops are way better than the KBD. On the afformentioned 28 kill solo trip, I made about 2 million despite not getting any special drops. 4x Phat owner: Blue, Green, 2x Purple 3100+ GWD bosses soloed.Solo GWD Drops:5 Bandos Plates, 4 Bandos Boots, 3 Bandos Hilts, 2 Arma Helms, Arma Skirt, Arma Plate, 3 Arma Hilts, 4 Zammy Spears, Steam Staff, 15 Sara Swords, 6 Sara Hilts, 29 Shards. L0rdAki
I suppose that argument holds water if you're just chugging brews...Change the prayer to protect melee though, and only use a Bone Dagger (p++) though.
