I believe MMG have done a good work at Jagex. Certainly the SoF and SGS could be discussed. Especially as Jagex claimed that they would never EVER introduce microtransactions. But then he have kept it at, at least as I see it, reasonable standards. During his time as a CEO Jagex have also indeed got better at listening to the players. I mean, a couple of years ago, who would have thought we would get to vote on which quests we would like to see next in the game? I certainly didn't anyway. Now I hope Mod Pips will do even better. RS still has a whole lot of potential for improvements of all kinds.

If you wish to support gay rights, why not just create an account on here that is linked to that one (by stating it as your RSN) and promote a gay event through that one? It should make people recognize you easier and the discussion can also continue in-game. I really fail to see any other reason to why you are acting like you are right now unless you really are trolling. If that is what you are doing that is just horrible. The gay community really deserves some discussion and to be brought up "in the spotlight" in the gaming world. But to do it in this way is totally wrong.

Just some good to know information about the author of this thread, and since this whole troll discussion is blossoming within this thread anyway: I am not anti-gay by the way, just putting that in. You to me just became a whole lot less trustworthy though. If you really are interested in making RS better for gay people I don't think you would lie about who you are in game.

Wow, boss practice mode? Something we have been nagging on Jagex about for ages is actually going to make its way into the game? That is awesome. Good job, Jagex! The rest is pretty much all meh to me though. But I guess killing some boss snowmen could be a bit of fun at least.

*Raises hand* Guilty, your honour. A bit more on topic: Even if you save up tickets throughout the month and use them all on the last day your chance of winning is still very small. And since you didn't participate any day earlier in the month you will only get a small lamp if you lose. I myself will be taking part every day; That way I am guaranteed at least 30 lamps.

Seems like a great month to me. I mean, Prifddinas. And grouping system. I actually don't care about the lack of a quest (We will need a lot of quests during the last few months of the year now if Jagex are to reach their own goal when it comes to the amount of released quests during this year).

I would love to see more focus on the long-term issues of RuneScape, with maybe a bit less focus on the most recent news. There's plenty of interesting discussion of every single update on these forums anyway. Though of course the really big updates, like Prifddinas once it comes out, deserves their own article/articles. There's a whole lot of so to say "general problems" that could certainly be brought up. Maybe let different players with different experiences debate in the same issue about a certain subject such as elitism, bots, EoC vs Legacy, PvP vs PvM etc? In general I do believe you have a rather good format as it is now. I always read the Times myself and will certainly continue doing so in the future as well. That Ts guy does a great work.

With this getting released so soon it will for sure be filled with bugs. Even more dev time will then have to be used to fix those bugs. Plus of course loads of balancing. And for what? A temporary increase in player numbers and some PvP action. Then the hype is going to die down again. Instead of putting in new content that could have attracted new players into the game Jagex decides to get back nostalgia players. This is such a complete and unnecessary waste. I am actually quite the bit irritated. And I get even more irritated when I think about what we could have had instead: Maybe Priffdinas could have been out by now if we hadn't had this let's-get-back-to-2007-in-RS3-too-attitude. And about democracy: Yes, I know this was voted for in a poll. But let us just wait and see who was right about all this? I believe in Sy's predicition myself. So much waste of time and resources -.- .

A while back I was either on the Runescape Twitch channel or their Youtube channel and one of the lengthy videos was a Q and A from 2012 where MMG assured people that: a) MTX would be minimally about in-game advantage, mostly cosmetic stuff. b) Where it would be about in-game advantage it would never rival or supplant traditional in-game training and the integrity of the game and achievements would be preserved. c) Any in-game advantage it offered would also be available through some in-game method. He said all of that with a straight face. Fast forward to 2014 and all I can say is what a joke. I am sure Jagex would probably have a good laugh too if someone had them view that stream again. Care to link/name this stream? I do remember watching it myself, but I just can't seem to find it right now. It could be of interest for others as well.

Vorago doesn't either. It is just that it makes kills a lot faster ;) With the proper strategy and perhaps a few more guys on a team Vorago can still be beaten. Same goes for ROTS. As for 1h t90s already having been in the game for a long time and that the boss therefore very well could require t90 weapons I got to say that I disagree. t90 gear should be obtainable by using t80 gear. It simply is logical. RuneScape is about progression, and to me owning two 1h t90 as a requirement to get a 2h t90 weapon just doesn't make sense. It would be fully okay if it was t99, t98, t97 or anything over t90, but now when it is at exactly the same tier it makes sense to 'just' have it require t80. To have a t90 weapon dropping boss require t90 weaponary would be like having a new hatchet, with the same speed of cutting as the dragon one, require a dragon hatchet already to be obtained (for no other reason than just that). It just doesn't make sense when the whole game is about progression via leveling skills, progressing from novice quests to grandmaster ones and using better and better gear according to tiers.

I doubt Araxxor will be 'true' t90. He will probably, with the correct strategy and t80 weps/gear (or ports tank stuff) be doable. At least that is my guess. Well, it SHOULD be that way. However I fear that would be only for the top PvM'ers. Why should it be that way? If you got ports armour and the second highest tier of weapons it should be enough to take on a solo boss which drops the next tier of weapons in my opinion. I meant that it should be that, just as you now described. Ah, ok, I must have misunderstood your post then. #Superexcited
