  1. Come mine with me brah Warbands don't stack either :^ ) I heard some rumors that they extended the time for the weekend. Can anyone confirm (Preferably with sources) Source: Bottom of page: http://services.runescape.com/m=news/broken-home--guthixian-caches?jptg=ia&jptv=community_news
  2. I have to say that I don't agree on your statement of that the lore book was kinda the worst thing to cut. I am a lorehound myself and trust me when I say that I really, really would have loved to seen that lore book in game. Especially as I myself was more or less stuck at the part of the quest where you have just discovered the most southern, long corridor in the basement. I easily found my way to the room with the coffins. There though, as there was nothing to discover, I more or less gave up on exploring the whole basement and instead started searching through the whole mansion again. This as I was so sure at if there was something new to discover in the basement it would have to be in the empty coffin room and not the corridor leading to it. As for why I do think Jagex did the right choice on cutting the book though: Pure text can easily be spread in other mediums. Game graphics, atmosphere and pretty much all other quest-attributes can only be experienced in-game. Certainly there's an irritation caused by plot-holes. But Jagex knows that those of us players that are really interested in the lore and storyline of the game usually search for information not only in the game itself. Therefore; In a choice of cutting something out, Jagex, or rather Mod Ollie, cut out the lorebook. Which he knew he could make public by putting it up on the forums. In a thread which takes like what, 3 clicks to reach from the main page? I understand where you are coming from and I certainly agree that the book should be in game. But I believe Jagex did the right choice when they chose to cut the lorebook out.
  3. Lol I turned off my sound after the first jump scare :P Also, lmfao at this reference: All know '14 is the best.
  4. Yes it is. They have completely trivialized PVP content, diminished it, neglected it, and removed it as mainstream Runescape activity. It still exists, but it was more or less a niche activity that you could do if you wanted, and nothing more. It's like staking. Yes it exists, but it's a marginal and niche activity that is very much optional and a not a focus of the game in any sense. You forgot about "completely destroyed by the mighty destruction hammer of Jagex". But yeah, I fully agree. PvP is as alive as a pet rock.
  5. Didn't do the quest yet. What I have heard of it so far though points towards 11/10. The DnD is a definate 100/10. Divination really needed this.
  6. I am so ready for this event! I have been buying 50k incascedescent (or however you spell it) energies from the GE over the last few days. Together with what I already have in bank that should last all weekend.
  7. It will last until the 3/11. http://[Use Quick Find Code]/a=57/c=j0IWj7IBCzU/[Please Use QuickFind Code]?14,15,390,65502774,6,333597980#6
  8. I read this thread every now and again. Every time I am impressed by how much devotion some players have to reach that magical 200M xp milestone. To me 100 hours per week is an extreme amount, and yet people here only speak about it as "going at his own pace", as if it was nothing special at all. I mean how the beep does these guys earn a living? I think I have so little time over nowadays, but for these guys, with all the RS playtime they take on, they can't have time for even visiting the WC... Still I got to say I am impressed by their motivation.
  9. This is sad. Really sad. I never use foreign servers myself, but if there ever was a Swedish one, I think it would get rather popular.
  10. Agreed. I really wonder what happened that changed their, as it appeared anyway, big focus on developing quests? Jagex actually got some great storywriters (handling 13 years of lore really can't be easy at all times). It is a pity we most probably will continue down the wrong road for the rest of this year at least.
  11. You have some really crazy luck with those drops o.O.
  12. Agreed. Jagex have been releasing way fewer quests than they used to the last 2 years, which simply sucks. I believe that one of the strongest points of this game is its deep and amazing storyline. With fewer quests released this storyline progresses slower. And this causes RuneScape to miss out on the chance of expanding this strong point further. This is especially sad when you remember that we have just progressed into a new Age where there's so much interesting new storyline content to explore. I mean, just exploring the returned Gods' plans for what they wish to do now once they are back could probably take up like at least 10+ quests. And they don't all have to resolve around lore exploring of course. They could include combat, new skill unlocks (coupled with divination etc) and other perks that could be attractive to skillers, killer and everything between. Certainly there needs to be a balance between updates. But I think most RS players agrees on that this low pace of the release of quests needs to be upped. Unless we get a quests' explosion in November and December we will have had another year of 6 (maybe 7) quests. To compare; We got 9 quests during 2012 and 2011.
  13. Pet Kree'Arra is going to be sooooo awesome <3
  14. Nomad. There's soooo many theories about him floating around. More information about him and his whereabouts would be awesome!
  15. Seems like my suggestion really caught on lol. But really, story-line wise, the adventurer should be burnt-out from all this stressing around the world, fighting and meeting gods etc. We could use a bit of a little timeskip where "Nothing happened".
  16. This is so true. Our adventurer really should be burnt-out after all this questing. We deserve a ten-year period of peaceful fishing for shrimps/those other very low level fishes in Taverly by now.
  17. Genuinely can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. Most probably sarcasm. Knowing Yoko :P He probably thinks the poll is unimportant.
  18. That's the only trip I've done, but I think I could stay there forever if I got lucky with Spinolyp spawns (Ideally, lack of)Regenerate is OP. You are OP. Bossingnub. (I am seriously impressed but would never admit that)
  19. I could recommend my own clan to you then ^^. We are the Crystal Wings, a social and lore focused clan. There are no requirements to enter and we often hang out together, chat a lot and have plenty of fun. Feel free to check out our recruitment thread here for more info about us: [qfc]93-94-65-65470711[/qfc] Please do contact me in-game or send me a message on here if you are interested and I can send you an invite.
  20. So I finally maxed. Finished this very long-term goal of mine by getting 99 Firemaking last night ^^.
  21. I have been running around Prifddinas for quite a few hours now, and I got to say that this is one amazing update. An update that I have personally waited for for more than 5 years. So far, even though only half of the city is out yet, it has lived up to all I dreamed of it to be. That and a huge lot more. There's elves everywhere. The houses are "crystally" without being overly "bloomy" (as in reflecting too much light or glowing in ways which just makes it look silly). There's plenty of bits of lore. There's more than enough good content to keep the city alive and popular among players for a long, long time. There's a whole lot of functionality and features to make every player's daily routines easier (portals!). There's a feeling of that this really is the city, not only for the elves, but for all of Gielinor. Just like it should be as it is a high-level hub, only for those who have gone through all the light puzzles of the elf series' quests and got level 75+ in a multitude of skills. And it's truly like no other city. Like no other area in the whole of the game. It has it all, to me, and I am so very happy to finally see it in game after this long, long, long wait. Simply awesome, Jagex.
