  1. It was. But then people started complaining on misclicking teleport when they just wanted to place the vexillium. Especially Nexers like myself did so :p. So now there will soon be people complaining on the teleportation taking too long/the confirmation is unecessary etc. It is all a circle. About the update: Seems like divination became a bit easier. I don't think I will use that BOB though. I may just check out the elder divination place though, even though I already have 99 Div. It looks rather cool :)
  2. Seems like those weekends will be really worth it. The roadtrip itself is some good variation as well, even though as I mainly view it as an addition to the daily challenge system :p.
  3. Looks like a very empty month to me. A few small ninja fixes, a temporary addition to the daily challenges system and a couple of things that should have been added to the rewards of the previous quests? People have been using the term "filler month". I couldn't agree more. And then I am one of few on here who actually thinks Jagex do a good job the far most of the time.
  4. A very interesting read, as always. I do look forward to finding out what Sliske is planning on next. Certainly he will be going for revenge on the player. The question is how? We all better watch out in the upcoming quests.
  5. Seems like a great fun event. I just love how Marimo tells Holstein how he seems to love big, hairy women...So many naughty things hidden in the dialogue! :p Time to kick some monkey's ass :) CA-ABB-AGEH!
  6. I am not surprised by that 90%+ of people chose to help Zaros. He really knows how to convince doubters. And he gave us loads of cool stuff. I will never trust that guy though. #Wearethe7%
  7. =) And time for another episode of... SPOT THE GLITCH!
  8. Seems like an awesome month to me. Especially I am looking forward to getting to meet Zaros and making sure that he can never return to Gielnor. Then I will make sure to send Zamorak there too - I am sure they have a lot to talk about.
  9. This minigame is just too easy for the guards. That Mod Balance need to get to work, properly, with this one. That is for sure.
  10. Hehe, I think those are kind of included into group 3. Well, kinda at least. And honestly the rewards on both sides this far have been very similair. Pretty much the only thing which seperates them are the design of the armour, the titles/overrides as well as the emotes.
  11. No, but history has told us that Jagex likes to hide little red herrings whenever an NPC predicts something. Saradomin Vs Armadyl is going to be a very tough choice, however I feel the winds of popularity will go towards Saradomin purely on name recognition. The majority of players probably don't know jack about the sixth age alone, let alone a decent level of lore outside of "I killed this guy and he dropped loot." I don't think thats wholey true I think overall peoples choices in world events fall in to 3 categories: 1) The guys who care about the lore and pick accordingly - in terms of sara vs arma I feel arma would have the egde here since sara is basically a jerk. 2) The guys who go for the 'good' or 'evil' side - this could be hard to call but I feel even if they've only played low end content Sara comes off more 'evil' than arma, so I'd guess this one would tip in arma's favour too 3) The whoever is winning/losing guys - Kind impossible to call until such an event begins. Personally I think arma vs sara would be a much closer fight than the ones we've had so far but on the basis of the 'good' guy winning and people who know the lore I think armadyl would be the one with the best odds on winning. I got to say that I agree completely with these 3 dots above. Especially interesting I do think that number 3 is; A huge lot of players just seems to go with whichever god seems to be the strongest. In my opinion this is really quite sad. Players should at least take the effort to read up on the basics of the lore (plenty of people on this thread brought up the idea of some kind of mandatory lore-info session before taking part in the event - Great idea!) before they make their decision on who to follow. To just go with the flow is something that disturbs me...I do know that it is a game and all. But still. It is such an epic event with a huge lot on stake. At least you could pick a god based on something, even if it is just based on which god looks the coolest. It really isn't that hard! Anyway, it will be really interesting to see if Jagex really decides to put Saradomin versus Armadyl in a World Event. In that case I do think that Armadyl will be winning just like you, Sy. He is seen as the more good guy of the two. And of course I as an Armadylean will be doing my best to support him. No matter which God he faces. Screeeee!
  12. And Osborne just added this (About if we will both the new GM quest and WTL to enter Prifddinas):
  13. Is that not what they had said already though? 4/8 segments would open after within the light, the rest would open after the new GM quest? Or did he literally say they entire city would need the gm quest? @Urza betting on guild-like places is hardly a dangerous bet considering in almost everything they've said about the city thus far they've mentioned it having guild-like places. Actually it seems like they changed their mind. He didn't exactly say that the whole city will require the completion of this new GM quest for access, but what he said is very, very close to that. To quote: twitter.com/JagexOsborne It does to me seem like they have changed their minds to the better option. This also means that we will be getting a quest and the city at the same time if Prifddinas wins the vote.
  14. Final boss of MEP3: "Elfrago has sent a crystal bomb after you! Run!" Good that I know how to tank Vorago already then ;) On a more serious note I really do hope that the elf city wins this vote. Now when MEP3 have been pretty much confirmed to be released if Priffdinas wins the vote I really, really wish for it to win. We have waited so long for this city. And all the feautures that will come with it; Crystal singing, new equipment and most probably quite some awesome graphics (and sound hopefully!). I really do think that this all stands over the new skill. Even though I of course would love to vote for both :p. Priffdinas certainly will get my vote this week!
  15. A bit of a surprise, was expecting Hati etc this week. And I wanted to see my fellow country-mates in game again this week :/. It's nice to have someone to speak Swedish too. Even if they are bloodthirsty wolves. Ports ftw though.
  16. Very long-term goal complete: Going to go for the final levels I need for all tasks now. Then...120 dung and 99 in the rest.
  17. You can still do it! Use them BnB lamps on dg and should get you there long way! That's cheating :p. I will just get it tomorrow, it is np. These DDOS:ers are just sooo irritating.
  18. And there went my goal of getting 90+ in all skills in 2013. Stupid botnets. :/
  19. After reading through this I can just ask one thing; Where's the quests? Good stuff with POP2 and the Armadyl cosmetic outfit (I have been waiting for that for a long time!). Hopefully all this stainless steel I have stocked up will now be useful as for trading goods for.
  20. I actually love that Jagex are doing this. What better way to give power to the players than to poll and ask for their opinion? I can't come up with one. However, I am worried about some of the announced questions that will be asked. Mainly lore-wise about the first big poll. Also; If the elf city wins this poll, will Prifddinas be accessible to high-level players, even those who haven't done all the quests in the elf series before? And will the city be released with the finale of the quest series coming out? Because as Sy has mentioned above the quest is not mentioned at all in the poll. And I do think we all wish for the finale of the elf series quest.
  21. Precisely. Armadyl will win this, and he do deserve to win this. It makes the event a bit boring though with this huge lead though; I will admit that. Can't Jagex give Bandos some kind of elite troops or something :P?
  22. Hopefully this event won't be as spread around as many different small things as it seems like from the video. I prefer those events were there is a clear story and focus. It tends to at least get me more excited. This more becomes like ten different minigames that is supposed to somehow stick together.
  23. You beat me to it ^. This thread needs more Armadyl pictures. My God, this world is ours already. Let it be filled with the sounds of Aviansies' wings flapping in the air!
  24. I switched sides as I learnt more lore. I have been following Armadyl for quite a few months now. Honestly, I don't think its very good content. Its incredibly unbalanced and the way it works that unbalance will just draw more people to Armadyl's side. I also think its a bad plan to use such unbalanced content to direct the lore. Though I can agree that it is unbalanced, it is mainly so because of the player's choice. There's such a far majority that supports Armadyl that the Bandosians would need a power boost of like + 300% or something for it to be fair. And that is honestly just ridiculous. At least in my opinion. Even though I don't wish for the losing god to die (There's a great thread on the future updates part of the RSOF on this; [qfc]16-17-630-65199390[/qfc] ) I still think is the best update in game so far. I really do love how far this game have come. World-spanning, strategical world events with two gods, representing completely different things, fighting and with us, the players, getting a big say in pretty much everything. And yes, I do know I am optimistic and that I will get comments on this like 'Wake up' :p. But right now I am actually too happy for that.
