The Premier Club Returns news article/ premier club discussion
Except it isn't cheap for membership. If your at the current ratse $7.95 it works out to be almost the same, if you have either old rate $5 or $5.95, then it is an awful deal. My bad. I still did have had the 'new' rates though. And I still think it is worth it, even though most of you guys seems to disagree.

I will be buying this for sure. Even though the 'rewards' are not that great I still think it is worth, especially since it is cheap for membership.

PvM
GWD is still a good option to make money, but I would say QBD is still the recommended. Variation is good though. Feel free to try out Sara as well as Bandos. Glacors are good as well, and TDs can be a good option too, even if they may just be seen as a bit tricky. Due to the dragon crossbow drops (save for those ascensions) and other stuff they are well worth killing though. Good luck!

Behind the Scenes- December
Fixed it for you. Seriously though, we all know which god is going to die (if Jagex actually decides to kill a god now). I really agree with that Jagex should focus more on lifting current content than just creating temporary things like these World Events. Certainly they are cool and all that, and I am also a follower of Armadyl, but really...I would love to have seen a construction update instead of this fight. And what about Yanille :P? Will it ever get updated?

Behind the Scenes- December
World Event 2 is what I look forward to the most this month. That and the Armadyl outfit. So far I have had to go with keepsakes for my Armadyl, every-day outfit. I really do hope that the outfit will be as good as the previous ones for Saradomin and Zamorak. As well as I really hope that they are serious about not making this WE as repetitive as WE1. But I do honestly think they have learnt their lesson now. And finally: LORE :D. This really seems like it will be my favourite update of the month. But...No quest this month either :( ? Well, I know the Christmas event is like a quest, but... :/

New Scam Email (Possibly something to do with Tip.it)
Thanks for the warning. I used to get tons of these before, but now I only get a few every year. Much because of that I have removed my email adress from a lot of profiles and such I think.

Finding Vorago teams.
Hello all. I got a rather specific, high-level question. I have been having quite some problems finding Vorago teams, even though I do meet the 'normal' reqs with gear and skills (Tectonic, vwand, 99 summ/herb/pray and so on). I have tried using the official forums but they seem to be very slow moving most of the time. What I simply wish to know is where I could possibly find more people interested in killing the probably hardest boss in game? All tips are greatly appreciated. Just please don't tell me to join 'that and that or that' clan as I am perfectly happy with my current one. A friend's chat, a group of players, a website, or whatever really would be great though. Thanks in advance.

[Video] Runescape Money Making Guide (Really fast)
Thank you for taking the time to make a guide. This may just be a good way to make money for low level F2P:ers. I am sure this knowledge will be valuable to new players (not all these efficiencyscapers though who seem to fill this place nowadays ;) ).

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
The energies will still be crazy expensive though. And it will take quite some time before people master this new piece of content, like it always does with every new boss released.

Lumbridge Rebuildathon [30-Oct-2013]
I have had a bit of lag with this too. Especially when I just enter Saradomin's camp for some reason, then it is almost like I freeze. It is however far from as bad as BoL was though. Also, have we got any news on if the memorial was built successfully or not? Because I have not seen any news related to it.

Behind the Scenes - November 2013
A lot of small fixes as well as one 'new' boss? Well, at least we get some cool new shields, pets and armour. But really, this is a bit sparse for a whole month, at least according to me. Still good enough to if they do it in a good way.

Future Update Discussions
Seeing the formulation in the newsletter I think that you are hoping for too much sadly. Jagex has recently tended to do just what is described in the BTS for their updates and not more of what you could many times have hoped for. So if it says it is good for xp, then it will only be good for xp. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion though :p.

Runescape Dying? [Discussion/Observation]
Precisely. I certainly don't like every update, even though I mostly think that Jagex do a rather good work. Some protesting when you think Jagex is heading in the wrong direction always have a chance at improving future updates/changes. This chance increases if you use proper arguments, not only 'hate' or 'rage' as it is called on the internet today. Proper motivations can get you a long way. However we can't always stand still. And that is the important thing to realize here. The combat system as it was for example was far from as good as many on here seem to think. Click and wait may for sure work, but that was far from the only thing in the old combat system. And as a whole I do like EoC a lot more. Not only because of the abilities itself. Also, as mentioned above, if you can't stand the changes in game, and just wish to hate on everything without reason, the choice of what to do is simple: Quit. This is just a game.

Or maybe the 200m's could start off at the same point but not have it have anything to do with exp. Like comp cape and comp trim stuff. Could be a good idea. I will admit that I am actually quite excited now to see what for kind of system Jagex will be coming up with next.

Future Update Discussions
Seems like we are getting quite a few new cool features at the last part of this year. Myself I look the most forward to the barrows rework. I imagine that these new armours will be quite a good money-maker, even if they are just 'tank' armours. The Lumbridge rebuilding and the new slayer creature seems very interesting as well. I bet that the new slayer creature will also bring with it new lore (Guthix and Tuska info).

Sirenic Armour- 22nd October
In my opinion it is great that this armour is obtainable from something else than a boss. Surely the 500k per piece of thread is a bit expensive and the fact that the armour crumbles to dust after it have been used up is bad. It still seems like a good piece of content to me. And the design of it looks awesome. Like something coming from the realm of the Zoras in the old Zelda games.

It is great to see that Jagex actually listened this time. Now I really hope that they suggest a system which doesn't include that all those who achieved 200M XP will have to start over from the same point as those who just achieved level 99. As well as that there will still be a cap of some sort (just much higher than the current one of 200M XP). Great work listening though, Jagex.

Honestly a terrible idea. Instead of raising the cap and filling in the gaps we have already they want us to repeat the current content and grind even more. I can understand that the hiscore rank is important to some people. But this important? To do all of this? No...Just raise the level cap in that case. I normally like most of what Jagex comes up with. But not this at all.

Birthright of the Dwarves- 2nd October 2013
Definitely could not agree more it didn't even really resolve most of the stuff it did 'finish' in a decent way. The big villain of the whole thing it transpires did it all because Zamorak AND at some point between attacking us last quest and now just gave up on his whole evil plot so it didn't have to be explained. They drop the idea of restoring Hilda's memories 'later' only to completely ignore it, they have you pick whether to exile forgive or kill the 'spies' with seemingly no later effect/mention, Grimmson realises he had done wrong but instead of making the plot interesting and repenting just goes yolo I'll kill you anyway. The gnomes failed to be explained, as did the dworges and giants and the whole finale of consortium vs monarchy and settling the future was really underplayed. The story was nice, but very subpar compared to recent quests especially for a grandmaster finale that was supposed to tie everything off in a neat ending. Not to mention you can tell they spent the graphical budget on reskinning dwarf npcs what with the quest locations using a bunch of pre-existing places with no changes, plus a clone of the lava flow mine with minor alterations and a clone of the palace. You just made me change my opinion here. The biggest fail, so to say, of this quest to me is the future aspect of it. This is a grandmaster quest. Our choices should affect the outcome of it. Say that I exiled all the dwarf spies. Well, then, maybe I could meet them and talk to them somewhere outside Keldagrim? Where they are training mining/smithing/preparing an army for revenge :P ? And if I chose to execute them, then maybe there could be some kind of crying family in one of the houses of Keldagrim? A silly example maybe. But I think you all understand what I mean. Especially interesting I think this would be for the future rule of Keldagrim. If I chose Veldaban to remain the king, then I wish to be able to talk to him properly after the quest. Not only get a simple 'Hello again'. Really, Jagex. This is a GM quest. I rarely critize you English guys there in Cambridge or wherever you are, but this you could have done a lot better. I am not even that much of a lore or dwarf fan and I am still dissapointed. I feel very sorry for those who really love dwarves and their lore. Because this was certainly much less than what they had expected and I can only imagine their feelings now, especially after all that hype.

Birthright of the Dwarves- 2nd October 2013
SPOILERS BELOW, BEWARE! I can agree with what have already been said in the last few posts here: The quest does seem a bit rushed. There were quite a few loose ends. The biggest one for me was for sure the gnomes. The gnome emissary's role in this whole thing could certainly have been explained a bit more. Then there was also the length of the quest; It seemed very short for a grandmaster quest to me. What did we even get to do? Check some spies, get a wand, kill some dwarves in Taverly dungeon, then just check out a cave, fight, memories, final fight and done. If I hadn't had so big problems with the final fight (I got it at try number four or five), then this quest would have taken me beneath an hour. And then I am an extremely slow quester, really. I had looked forward a lot to this quest. But I got to say that I am quite disappointed. The only great thing about it is are the rewards. I guess I had got my hopes up too high. Still though, it's a good quest. It just had potential to be a lot more than what it became now. I really, really hope that once Jagex finally gets around to releasing the conclusion of the elf series they make sure to put in some proper work into that grandmaster quest. To have that one become like this one would be a huge disappointment.

My favourite part about this update is of course to see Zamorak gets his ass' kicked. However that quest seems really nice too.

Behind the Scenes - October 2013
Well at easter they did specifically explain in the news post they wanted to move away from real world holidays in favour of Gielinor themed holidays. Hence easter became Guthix Rememberance and will remain as such. I guess Halloween will hence forth be 'Saradomin won holiday' Anyone who expected an actual Halloween themed event was just setting themselves up for disappointment, the same can be said of Xmas. Lmao beat you :P But yeah we need some iconic holiday events that will repeat yearly. I mean I think there is some wiggle room to make the guthix tribute a yearly event. Maybe making the tribute more grand and maybe a small festival that gathers in remembrance for guthix protecting the world and helping the lesser races. That would be cool to see a ceremonial guthixian druid tents, torches and strewn about in the festival area. Players could do skilling and PVM to get tribute pieces for the festival or something. This actually sounds like an excellent idea. I am sure of that the players would love something like this, as long as the rewards are good as well...Maybe each year there could be some new kind of conflict? Between the gods one year, between different races, and then you can of course add in plenty of humour and puzzles and combat as usual.
