  1. ACT writing is optional, but SAT is not.
  2. lol thats what my schedule is going to look like senior year pretty much, all AP this year (junior) AP Chem Honors English 3 French 4A AP CalculusBC Intro to Java Phys Ed 2 I wish my school had AP Chemistry made available. I'll try to take the AP Calculus [bC] exam but I'll have to study on my own since the current class only covers AB items  Physics seems to be my most challenging course this year, just because the teacher is insane. I doin't usually blame things on the teachers, but her grading is really offbeat. Tests/quizzes are 80% of the grade, homework 10% and labs are 10%. So, if you mess up even a bit on a test/quiz, you're pretty much done for. Just make sure what you're getting yourself into  Studying for Physics is taking up a lot of my time which I planned to use for scholarship stuff, applications, etc. so be sure you're not overwhelmed :)
  3. i wish my school had an AP physics course.... No, you don't. My current grade is a 72%. I haven't had that since Kindergarten.
  4. AP English AP Biology AP Physics AP Calculus AP Government Independent Study I like them all except AP Physics which I am currently bombing. Big time.
  5. http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist ... list_l.htm May be a virus, or it may not be. Run HJT and your antivirus/spyware removers and see what comes up.
  6. .com/]http://www.[ForbiddenSite].com/ Best one out there.
  7. Same. I actually discussed this in the "cheating topic" that most schools won't allow you to use it. The AP test does not allow the 89s either. It's nice, but just does everything for you almost.
  8. The last real console game or even PC game (where I made it to the boss) was when I was about 8 :o Call me old fashioned, but I still think Bowser is still hard to kill in Yoshy's World. Some of those pics have really intimidating bosses, though.
  9. Whenever I do Slayer I get randoms (a lot). I think it's because you're in so many different environments fighting monsters that it's more diverse and you have a better chance to get a wide variety of randoms.
  10. I always thought "X" was kinda neat. Mysterious, short, original, and just sorta sleek.
  11. I never knew Rob Zombie directed, kinda came as a surprise to me when I saw the commercials. I had a few friends who saw it and said it was pretty gory and twisted (I wouldn't expect anything else from Rob). Personally, I haven't seen it and don't feel drawn to it. I'll wait for the DVD to come out and rent it
  12. When I think of Weird Al, I think of Amish Paradise, obviously a spoof towards Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise. That song sticks out in particular because Coolio was really upset that Weird Al made light of such a serious song and it was a whole "beef" between the two.
  13. I whittled a few twigs into some pointy twigs once. *Level 6 Fletching in real life :(*
  14. That sounds pretty good :) My friend has the Pentium D and it runs very well. I may just hold out until the laptop version comes out since I'm in no rush now. I'll still look into buying the Inspiron. Thanks King :D
  15. Texas Instruments. The Ti-83 is old and outdated ;) The Ti-84 is much better suited to your cheating needs ;) or get the ti-89, and youll have the only calculator youll ever need, all the way through college calculus classes. (if you plan on doing stats, seems like the 83/84 is better, because it is easier) (dont get a ti-86, they suck) TI-89 (Titanium) is not allowed on the AP Calculus test, unfortunately. When I was shopping around for my calculator around Sophomore/Junior year, I wanted the 89 but realized that it wasn't allowed in most instances. My Pre-Calc. teacher even banned it from the class just because she knew it wasn't allowed on the AP test and that it was too powerful. If you decide to get the 89 just do your research whether it's allowed or not in your class.
  16. I actually (once) said "L-O-L" in real life  Usually when I come across something funny I chuckle lightly or have somewhat of a grin on my face. :)
  17. Sounds good Joe, PM me the coupon if you can :) I was just looking over this laptop by HP (even though I vowed never to buy from HP again it seems to be fine): http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1706540,00.asp Specs: Type: Gaming, Media Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Processor Speed: 3.4 GHz RAM: 1024 MB Hard Drive Capacity: 80 GB Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon X600 Primary Optical Drive: DVD+/-RW (Plus Minus) Wireless: 802.11g Screen Size: 17 inches Screen Size Type: widescreen System Weight: 9.5 lbs 3-D BENCHMARK TESTS - 3DMark03 - 1,024 x 768 - 0X/0X: 3140 The con is just that it seems bulky and it's MAINLY gaming, which I really don't prefer. I only put down that I would do a bit of gaming. I really would just like a laptop that will play games decently and I'd put battery life over most other things. [Edit] My friend has it and says its really bulky, it runs hot, and has really awful batter life. So long with HP :P
  18. Ya I was looking around actually, not only on the boards but online as well. It's been difficult because I can't really decide what to get, kinda my dilemma here. Thanks for the imput Tempter :) (I remember you, mining maniac !). The Dell looks great and seems to have all the qualities I want. If it has served you that well, I can only hope it does me good :D Great job Spark. I may look into that as well. I just want to note that I will be using this laptop or desktop for 4+ years (for my undergrad and then further schooling). Thanks for the comments so far.
  19. There is a famous popcorn store there, but I forget the name. I'd go see the Sears Tower too, I'm pretty sure that's in Chicago :)
  20. Hi all, I just have a couple of quick questions. Firstly, I'm contemplating buying a laptop or desktop. I have been shopping around but haven't found anything that really catches my eye. I'll be going into college soon so I'd prefer a laptop since it's portable and more diverse, and just because I already have a decent desktop. My question is, are there any recommendations for a nice laptop? Notes: *Max price 3,000 USD (and that's pushing it). *Should have a good battery life. *Decent GB / RAM. *I'll be using this for school work 80% of the time. *Should be able to run games whenever I am bored :P (a good graphics card perhaps). [Edit] *I just want to note that this laptop should last me a good long time since I will be schooling 4+ more years (for sure). My final question is whether I should get a laptop or desktop. I like those new dual core desktops (Pentium D) which would really be neat, but why would I need another desktop? Wouldn't a laptop be a better decision in this case? I would appreciate some comments on this matter.
  21. Well, this year I basically helped 8 people pass our AP US History class. The teacher is no help during class and just gives us busywork, and at the end of the week it's test time. I (always) read the chapter twice just so all the info soaks in and get 95 - 100% on all of the tests, usually. People want answers from me a lot of the time so I give 'em a few. I don't mind if it's a few answers, but some people ask for the entire test, something I would never do. At the end of the year it was time for the AP test and I got a 4/5 (highest score in the calss :)). Just goes to show it pays to study since I'll be getting college credit 8) To answer your question, I have never cheated but have aided others (which is just as bad). It's usually just shifting my papre to the side so others can see some of the answers and then conceal them quickly so they don't get them all :P
  22. The mage is so simple it's complex (a bit of a paradox). I really do enjoy the mage character than the two warriors. Personally, the warrior to the left looks like he is about ot burst out of his armor because he's bulging with muscles or something  I'd enjoy the sig more if they weren't all facing towards the audience and paid more attention to their kills. It would just seem more natural that way and make it complete :)
  23. Can anyone beat skipping 3 clouds, or even match it  ~22,000 isn't too bad for 15 minutes playing :)

  25. The easiest option I see is to send a friend a money order to buy and ship the Skittles for you  (most likely an American or British friend).
