  3. I'm working part-time (have been for the past year), but I'm also taking on a volunteer position 2-4 days per week at the local hospital. I'm also trying to study for my SAT II Chemistry exam and the SAT Reasoning Test for the Fall. I also have a Summer assignment for my English, math, government and physics classes ( ). Basically my Summer will constitute of a lot of studying and working, but I don't mind. It's really refreshing to have something to do everyday instead of just wasting my Summer away.
  4. Oh, wow. I went there a week or two ago and it sitll had the auction sign up :-\ Weirrrrrrd. I think the Arenascape fund is also part of the site / forums. So, any donations you make also contribute Arenascape, not that it takes up that much bandwidth (does it? )
  5. I think one way to raise money (if needed) is "selling" the rights to some guides and such so another site may use it legally. Oh, and was the http://www.scapeboard.com domain every sold?
  6. Yeah, I kinda had them in mind, but I refrain from using names  I mean if the members are willing to give, by all means  I just enjoy the "no hassle" ambience here.
  7. I think it's one of the few I really like. Actually, I think this is the best one you've done to date. Very smooth. The only part I would critique is her face. It looks a bit goofy:P Overall a good job though.
  8. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr Censor blocks it, but if you want to donate go here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?contact Look in the top right corner and it will say 'Make a donation' You can donate there. Every cent helps :D I personally like tip.it because it DOESN'T advertise for donations. Other fan sites are swarming with posts and announcements which ask for donations, and as a reward people get icons, ranks, etc. I think it's awful like that :| If you really do want to give a donation, you'll do it just becuase you want to keep this site up and running and it comes from your heart
  9. 720 Verbal 690 Writing (10 on essay) 660 Math (I knew I would bomb it) I was kinda disappointed with the score seeing as though my goal was 2200. Oh well, better luck in the Fall I suppose :P
  10. http://www.fox.com/americandad/home.htm It's a new show by the same created of Family Guy. Check the site out, I think they may have clips.
  11. Family Guy. The original in-your-face obtrusive Father is all I need to enjoy a good laugh :) I think American Dad is based too much on patriotism and stuff, whilst Family Guy can go anywhere because it has no real depth behind it.
  12. First of all: JAGEX WILL NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER SEND YOU EMAILS. That being said, don't click on them again. EVER. First, delete the email. Run an online virus scanner: http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/a ... ncipal.htm Run any additional virus scanners you have, as well as Adware (by Lavasoft). If you want to go to extremes you can reformat your computer, but until you get a clean sweep of your PC, I suggest you not log into RS.
  13. On the top there should be something that says 'Profile' That's where you can change.
  14. The update was fine for me. No problems whatsoever.

    Punk ?

*ahem* Punk ( rock [let's just use that phrase for now because people are accustomed to it] ) was a lifestyle before it was music, first of all. Yes, what Futurama said is true, it represented rebellion, anarchy, and the word "punk" itself means rotten. The movement actually started with "garbage rock" or "garage rock" by bands in the 1960s. One of them was The Standells (which was a really good band actually, check out their song Riot on Sunset Strip or Dirty Water if you get a chance). Not until the 1970s did punk (rock) actually have a full-fledged force behind it. During this time bands like The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Talking Heads, The Ramones, etc. began to emerge to lead the movement. They are often known as the actual founding fathers of punk (rock). Usually, these bands contested political matters, had sexual innuendos, and pushed the limits of what their version of rock & roll was. As punk (rock) progressed into the 1980s, "hardcore punk" or "heavy punk" began to form. This is the era where bands such as Black Flag were formed. Hardcore punk is basically more intense than normal punk (rock). As far as I know, "Ska punk" was formed during this time as well. Ska punk has influences from reggea and Jamaican music, making it one of the most unique forms of punk (rock) music. I classify bands like Rancid and Reel Big Fish under Ska (which is probably my most favorite genre). During the 1990s skaters glorified punk so much that a genre was given to them known as "skate punk." It qualified almost all genres of punk, including hardcore, ska, original... everything. Skaters were usually associated with punk (rock) because of their image as rebels. Finally, as we entered the new millenium/left the late-90s, came "pop punk" or "emo punk." It's given a bad image to all who listen to punk (rock) because it's created a hardcore image into something soft and less intense than it had been. Pop is usually associated with bands like Blink 182, Green Day, etc. [EDIT] - After reading over this, I did not want to give the impression that "emo punk" is anything to be ashamed of. I actually enjoy some of the bands when I want to mellow out. Check out some bands such as Mae (Mae is for lovers ), My Chemical Romance, and even Relient K. That's about it for the history. If you wish to know my favorite bands, I'll name them off for you (in no particular order): The Sex Pistols The Cure The Used The Ramones The Standells Ranicd MXPX (old stuff) Pennywise Black Flag Anti Flag .... The list goes on. Those are some of my favorite bands, but I have many more. I hate how I have only obtained an image that I listen to punk (rock) ONLY. I do not. I listen to all forms of music, but I had a phase where I loved punk (rock) more than anything, hence my name. Hope this cleares up some things.
  16. You're forgetting that in that 150+ years the average life expectancy was 40, there were no HMOs, no PPOs, and as we progress further and further there are more obligations (financially). I'm sure you won't have that opinion when you're 65 and notice what a rut you're in with the medical bills piling up (hopefully not, but you never know).
  17. I guess R. Kelly is up next.
  18. Just by the sheer size of the log there *MUST* be something wrong. I suggest scanning with Ad-Ware (by Lavasoft) first and then post the log again. Ad-Ware will get rid of the obvious spyware and such and then we can help you with the more detailed stuff.
  19. We're the generation that's going to get the short end of this stick if it comes through. I really don't want to invest money as my social security option because it's too much of a risk to play . I *NEED* to know that my money is secure and that it's not going to dwindle away in the stock market game.
  20. The Killers - All These Things That I've Done
  21. Mazes - Around a dozen (12)? Mimes - Enough to get all the emotes & every time after that around 500gp (so at least 15+). They're not that rare for me.
  22. I wish for a magic wand that I can use to fix anything I'd like
