  1. The prophecy has come true: we have seven days left to live! Actually, I think the last time it snowed here was in like 1998; we just never get much of it :(
  2. In my opinion, the callout box sort of 'cheapens' the beauty of the signature. If it were not for that, I would like it a lot more. But nonetheless, it's one of your better works. Great stuff :)
  3. The man with the magic paintbrush himself :D By the way, thanks to everyone for the kind comments :)
  4. I never bothered to ask him what it was called, but I don't know how well it would 'fit' this signature.
  5. Wouldnt the shrapnel hit her? Her mouth is wide open, it could cut her throat. Well, it's just like a vocalist who tries to break a wine glass with the intensity of their voice. They don't really get hit by the shards of glass and such that I know of. However, I'm not really worried about the technicals of the image, just the sheer intensity and brilliance.
  6. My friend, Louis Logic, made this one for me over two years ago, gave me the background to work with so that I can always change the font if it doesn't please me :) I'm really picky about what fonts I choose; even I don't know what I want at times. I'm not too happy with it even right now, but too lazy to find anything better to work with:P Thoughts? Comments?
  7. Right now I love my Biology class just because it challenges me in a way no other class has done so far. I have little doubt in my mind that I will score less than a 5 on the AP exam.
  8. Sadly, I know a few people that will have their entire lunch consist of a pop and a bag of chips instead of paying $2 for a school meal (Maybe 50 cents saving, but with the price increases at your vending machines now it's the same) It's a shame. I know school food isn't the greatest, but it's not the worst either. Pop and chips is just really unhealthy and I would be in support of getting rid of every snack there is on my campus. Actually, there is a recent article I read about a school which allows students only to pay with a pre-paid card. The students' parents are able to control what their children are allowed to buy and how much of it. It's a really neat system. Link: http://www.theeagle.com/stories/022706/ ... 227024.php
  9. Do you think that person still stands to make money off of it 70 years after their death though? It *would* be unfair if it was anything below authors lifetime copyright, but that's not the suggestion here. No, but, like I said, it's not about the money. It's the fact that they have come up with something worthy of carrying on to future generations. If the rights to that idea or creation are gone after their death, then those who originally came up with it are easily forgotten. Once more people have access to their idea/product/whatever, it becomes so stale and it feels cheap in a sense. It loses its integrity in a way.
  10. If you think about it, if this was around in Shakespeares time, he would have gotten sued for writing a lot of his stuff :P How would he have gotten sued (sorry I'm not following)? As far as I know, they didn't have patent laws or copyright laws back in his day, or did I miss something? That's his point :) . Had there been laws like that back then, Shakespeare would've been in a lot of heat. Ah okay, I wasn't sure that Shakespeare had taken ideas from other authors or plays, but then again, I'm not too familiar with his life:P
  11. If you think about it, if this was around in Shakespeares time, he would have gotten sued for writing a lot of his stuff :P How would he have gotten sued (sorry I'm not following)? As far as I know, they didn't have patent laws or copyright laws back in his day, or did I miss something? Ideas, inventions, creations, etc. should remain the sole right of the inventor because it is theirs and theirs alone. Call me naive, but I don't think it's always about the money and royalties they receive; it's the fact that they came up with that idea or prodcut and no one else has the right (without their permission) to infringe upon that.
  12. I'm pretty satisfied with the new laws. Public schools need funding, and in order to get that funding they must bend to the federal government's whim. It's a fair exchange, in my opinion. Our school has not gone as far as removing vending machines, but at lunch, no soda or unhealthy items are sold. Bring your own lunch if you don't want the government looking over your lunch tray
  13. Well thank you for that information. I never realized that a joke had an expiration date on it. I'm sure there are users who haven't seen it before.
  14. I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but it made me laugh :) Enjoy! The original article can be found at this link: http://www.polishnews.com/text/humor/eu ... glish.html
  15. *waves* Good to see you're alive :)
  16. That's disappointing. It was a feat to do it without logging, now the Cape should be semi-easier to get. :|
  17. Max amount of cash you can hold is only 2B  Who told you that? :P
  18. Everyone seems to remember a set price of 'the old prices.' :P For me the number that sticks out is 10m for some reason. I remember them being less, some numbers just stick out in my memory like that of prices. Anyway, they're about 160-180mil (I think?) right now. And nobody has any idea at all to a guess of a number of blues in the game. I sold you a Blue a year(+) back for about 10m, maybe thats' why it sticks out:P
  19. I did about 1,350 grinds yesterday and it's a lot more fun now for some reason. Took a few hours to grind it all, but it's just more 'realistic' now considering you don't need to go all the way to the end of the loader to put bones in. Definitely worth the time and effort, considering the experience you will get out of it :)
  20. no. in a run-conserving trip without failure it takes a little over 3 minutes (by run-conserving I mean that you run during the trip but you end with as much as you started with, so you don't ever run out). Canifis and wild are still faster for high agility levels by a good margin. Thanks. Which do you recommend (wild or Canifis) for a fairly high Agility level?
  21. I have to say this is your best work thus far. What really impressed me is the detail of the grass and the tree itself. Quite striking :)
  22. Is this the fastest way to level Agility, now?
  23. Thanks, Cameron. That seems to be the only thing I haven't done and it worked. I actually had to completely reinstall Norton for it to work, but it got the job done
  24. Solved, Thanks. Close:)
  25. Thanks for the quick responses. Yeah, I was thinking either Sony (I've used their products before and have worked for me flawlessly), Dell (not too much experience with them but they have a lot of affordable laptops) or an HP. I would definitely take care of it (I promise! :D).
