  1. Also, we need word from Jagex if the Inferno Adze is equivalent. What can you pick from the new thieving targets?
  2. I guarantee you this is a result of the new pathing algorithm they implemented. It's not a bug, per se, it's just an unintended consequence... or perhaps intended.
  3. Depends. If time's no concern, then we can do the math. Assuming 4 tools per hour: Each tool is good for 44k xp, 22k of that is free (roughly). So an hour of SC gives 88k free XP. That's 1353 hides worth, or (tanned) 2700k/hr or (untanned) 2300k/hr. But keep in mind that we can SELL 1353 hides worth of bodies for 2074k. That means a true savings of 626k/hr tanned or only 226k an hour untanned. If you can make more that in an hour, then they're worth it. If time IS a concern (as it is for me), I say no. I don't have the time to spend playing SC, for crafting. I do however have the cash to burn.
  4. does that mean that you can use each ring to restore your energy ? No. No additional charges.
  5. Dropping works for Magic Secateurs (40k replacement) and Explorer's Ring.
  6. Sadly doesn't work for ectophial. :-( Says You already have an ectophial in inventory/bank. It's best not to arouse these ghosts' wrath with trickery.
  7. Just a point - noting crops did NOT make farming easier. You forget that most plots are near banks and/or teleport spots. I still think the idea of rating a skill as difficult by xp/hr is missing the point. Frankly, it should scream "the game is broken" if the only real way to train, say, mining to a high level is going to the middle of the desert and drop mining. Broken doesn't mean hard, any more than time means hard.
  8. Keep in mind, there are very few things in RS that are hard. Tedious doesn't mean hard. Getting 99 in a skill isn't hard - it takes no thought, no strategy, only time (and lots of it). So you could argue that one is more tedious than the next, which is fair. And in my mind, reducing tediousness is always good. Which things in RS are hard? Realistically, I don't know. I've never done any of the high-level content.
  9. 1969: Penguin Points and 10 tasks. Going for 300 slayer points so I can make slayer rings.
  10. Rearranged some goals, to move XP away from range. That was gonna be pricey, since I can really only cannon. Now I only need 2 levels, which will cost roughly 6m. Believe it or not, my chart says I have almost 33% of the xp needed to get to 2000 (from 1900).
  11. 1966: Oaks + SC Hammers Heheheh...
  12. 1965: Granite Just did my first SC games - that is fun!

Troll has been around at least since the usenet days of the 80s, which is more that most of the people here have been alive. But dude, you started a rant about no updates this week. From your last post, you're basically complaining about what MIGHT happen in the future. And that's just silly.

Libs, typical little kiddie whining. You flambe Jagex for releasing buggy crap, but then you get pissed when they don't rush it. I think you're just looking for a reason to whine and troll.
  15. It's relevant. My POINT was that since RS and WoW have very different endgames, it's natural that they treat skills differently. In WoW, skills SUPPORT the endgame, so they should be relatively easy. In RS, skills ARE the endgame, so they shouldn't be easy. Est0rrath is right; if skills are too easy, people max and leave. Just like in WoW - if the top-tier raids are easy, people will blast through them and be "done" with the game.
  16. My point was, neither mousekeys nor a precision mouse violate the rules.
  17. Mining. It makes me want to scream - which begs the question why I am trying for 85.
  18. Well, when I played WoW I liked the way "skills" were handled. You could really top them out in a day, and there were REAL REWARDS at the end. But with RS, there really is no point (as in, unlocking new content) to top out skills at 99, save a few. They're an end in and of themselves, whereas in WoW they're a means to an end. They prep you for end-game content, which in reality is most of the time you spend in WoW. For that reason, I'd say skills shouldn't be TOO easy. If there was a lot of end-game content that semi-required good skills, then they should be easier. That, however, would involve remaking ALL of RS into what realistically would be another game.
  19. No, any more than using a precision mouse should be reportable.
  20. 1963: Quests I know, I know... but I wanted this quest: 227 QP
