I am surprised at all of the people that came here to say Jagex was wrong to ban him. You are in a sense saying that it is ok to joke about something as serious as this. It is kind of like yelling fire in a crowded place or going to a bank and yelling that you are going to rob it. It does not matter that you were joking. You still get punished for it. And the booger joke is not funny. I thought that the community here was more mature that this. -.-

I agree that you should not expect to get any of your items back if you die. I have died plenty of times and never once thought that I was going to get a single item back. She just went back there to see if any of the people would be nice enough to sell the stuff back that she had lost. If I got something minor like 2k iron arrows I would have sold them back if I was getting what they were worth.

Can someone enlighten me as to why we are so interested in who this person is? I don't care and I don't see why other people would. :-s

I honestly don't see what the big deal is about this. Jagex is a company like any other. They want to advertise their site in multiple ways so that they can bring in new people that may become members of the site so that they can make more money. And I don't see why you are worried that this is going to bring in a ton of immature players. Not all of the people that started playing this game because they found it on Miniclip and immature. Not all of the people that find the site because of this new way of advertising are going to be immature. There are going to be some idiots, but that is life. There are always some idiots no matter what you are doing.

Trem, I am guessing that you missed the part where it was said that the person that took the arrows was level 70. He was not a noob. A choob maybe. It is saddening what people will do in the game for a couple of items. If you belong to this community for long enough, you will read your fair share of threads complaining about being scammed or people complaining about all of the autoers that are around in the game. Anyways, it was nice of the person that did give your stuff back to give it back. Good luck getting the arrows back and have fun playing the guitar. \ \

I don't find this remotely funny. You joked about scamming someone. If you have been a member of this site for more than a week then you will know that there are tons of threads here about people getting banned for joking about a reportable offense. Jagex does not take jokes lightly. Anyone that is scamming can add "just kidding" after what they said to try and play off the scam attempt after they are caught. Guess you learned a lesson. Never joke about breaking the rules in the game. Someone near you might take you seriously.

I prefer the single person game over the team based game. It frustrates me in the team setting that a couple of idiots can completely ruin an entire game. If I am doing a single player game then I have noone but myself to blame if something gets screwed up.

There is no way that I would play a game if my character was erased if I had died a certain amount of times. I am not going to play a game and work on a character if I was too afraid of dying to fight anything.

Out of the f2p quests, I thought that the easiest was either Rune Mysteries or Dragon Slayer. Out of the p2p ones, the easiest might have been Witch's House or Fishing Contest. There are so many quests that were easy for me that it is kind of hard to chose among them though. :P

I doubt that that would be some kind of doorway that we could ever use in the game. Unless it is some part of a quest and you can make a lava-proof boat or something that lets you get to it. :P

Wow. 5 Torags. :shock: I don't do Barrows runs much myself, so I have never had a multiple-spawn type thing happen to me. I guess I am lucky like that. :lol: If I did get multiple brothers I would probably freak out too much to beat them anyway. -.-

I do not think that you are necessarily under attack. You came on here complaining about how a friend reported you for breaking a rule. I have no sympathy. The rules are there for a reason and the report funtion is there for a reason. Like I said before, if you had not broken the rule then there would be no problem and you would not be on here telling us that we should "trust noone".

My two nooby ways to die were to a cow and to a scorpion when I was fishing at by the bank at Al Kharid. After I died there I told everyone that came over "Look out, that scorpion can attack you even if you didn't attack it first." :lol:

I have a better rule that you can use in your life in Runescape. "Always follow the rules that Jagex has made in every situation in the game." If you had not broken the rules and evaded the censors in chat then the person that you are talking about would have had no reason to report you. The rules are in place for a reason and you should follow them. They have not been made to be broken. They were made to be followed and enforced. At least you know better now. Hopefully........

The higest that I have ever had in a row is three. Although it would be cool if all of them were in the same spot. :P

Those "doorways" have been there forever. I remember seeing them when I was training there in f2p wondering what they are for. I am not entirely sure, but it is probably just a tunnel that the lava uses to get from one part of the volcano to another part.

I am sorry to see you go. :( I know that it seems like there are a lot of bad apples in the game but I am certain that there are more good players than bad ones. It just seems like there are more bad ones because they stick out of the crowd. It is easier to see the bad ones than the good ones. Anyways, I am sure that you are going to have fun in that little place that is called "the real world". I hope that you decide to come back some time. :)
