I would have to say either the bank pin, the new game engine, or Pest Control. Bank pin cause it is not much easier to protect your items in case you get hacked or keylogged or something, the game engine cause of all of the cool stuff that they are adding to the game that was made possible by it, and Pest Control because of how fun it is to get combat experience now. :

The only metal dragon that I have the courage to take on right now are the bronze ones. I don't usually Burthorpe them anymore. I do change all of the iron tasks that I get though. I am too much of a chicken to try them out. :P

I only have two red ones. They both came from woodcutting, as I don't do the kingdom managing thing. You have an interesting theory about the eggs. Seeing as I only have two red ones and the only god book that I own is the Zammy one.....

I hate Castle Wars with a passion. It seems to me that the game all depends on whether or not you have a couple of ancients on your team that can park at the other team's castle and freeze them, and if you can get a couple of high levels together that can get their own flag and hold it until the end of the game. There is no honor in that game anymore. I will only start playing when they make it so you cannot hold your own flag anywhere in the game. If you touch your own flag, it goes back to your castle whether or not you are in the castle or not. This would make the game a lot more balanced.

I think they only do if that monster is what you have been assigned as a task at the particular moment. I am not sure about that though. And you should take all questions to the Help and Advice board. It is there for a reason. :wink:

I am guessing that it is going to be rabbit or squirrel, since those are already in the game. Or in could be one of the new animals that Jagex said they are going to introduce around the time of the update. Mink plox? :lol:

That is probably them just trying to fill up the rooms to make them look better for the pictures. I doubt they would let us mix and match furniture like that in the future.

I do have some good friends that I can study with and that can help lend a hand with keeping me off of the game. The problem with that is that I spend so much time on the game that I don't really have a lot of friends at the college. Most of the friends that I have are on the game. Sad huh....

Wow. I had not idea that this was going to get so many people talking. As for what I am going to do with the empty time not that I am going to be playing the game a lot less, I am planning on studying and working for my classes a lot more. I am taking 5 different classes so I am supposed to be studying a lot anyways. I'll just be actually doing what I am supposed to be doing.

I am getting a little bored of the game now too I guess. I think that is what is making it so easy for me to spot the addiction and take steps to go away from it. I was at my mom's house for the weekend and I did not go on Runescape once. I was very proud of myself. : Thank you all for your support. \

I have tried to quit cold turkey before and it has always ended with me crawling back to the game. -.- I am hoping that setting the limit for myself and forcing myself to get off of the game after that limit is going to be more successfull than me not coming on at all for a while. :)

I am slowly starting to realize that real life is indeed more fun than Runescape. It all depends on what you do with it. :)

Yeah. I said it. I have officially recognized that I am addicted to the game. Have you ever spent 14 hours playin the game at one time? I have. Have you ever missed a class just so that you could play Runescape for a little longer, maybe get 40 or so more Pest Control points? I have. Ever contemplate missing a quiz or a test because you are in the middle of something in the game and don't want to go away from it? I have. I have been blind to my addiction for a long time now. I was in classic denial. My friends and family told me that spending that much time on a computer game was not healty. I did not believe them (I am interacting with other people after all) and I denied that fact that I was addicted. Why did I come to this realization you might ask? It is because my slipping grades finally shoved it in my face. I am in college. Last semester I failed two classes because I had been skipping classes to play the game. That is right, two classes. And I am officially in danger of failing on this semester if I do not get serious. No, I am not quitting. I know that I am not going to be able to give it up for good. I want to play that badly and I have made too many good friends to just go away. I am going to limit myself to a max of one hour a day. Maybe less. Then I will be able to study more and get my grades up. I am just glad that I finally saw the truth of the situation. Now I am going to be able to take the steps that I need to take to fix this problem. Thank you for your time in reading my story if you have. It means a lot to me that you took time out of your day to read this. :) Anyways, to open up discussion, I know that I am not the only one that has become addicted to the game. It is very powerful in this. There are just so many things to do that you could spend the rest of you life on the game and not get everything done. Anyone else willing to share their story?

Tv is a mind melting brain control device. And for all you know, the person that had the dream only plays for an hour a day and spends the rest of the time running around outside. :P

It could be the fountain but I am not exactly sure. I will check it out the next time I can get on the game myself.

I honestly don't see how they would enforce this rule. I don't know if anyone has even been had their account banned for this one. It would be interesting for someone to come on here that has gotten banned for this rule with some of the proof that Jagex uses to jusify the ban. I would like to see how they know if a person is blocking the ads or not.

You people that say it is sad that he had a dream about Runescape confuse me. How is it sad that someone dream about an activity that they do. A person that plays baseball might have a dream about a game that they are going to have later in the season. Why is it any different when a gamer dreams about an update they are excited about in the game? Not all of the people that dream about a game that they play spend the entire day locked in their parents basement playing it. Yesh.

The old letter says a lot of the things that were later added to the game so many people are looking at the new one to see if they can see anything that might be added to the game later hinted in it. I think that there are a couple of things in there that Jagex might have thrown in to mess with us that are not going to be an update and some things that they are going to add. It is useless to speculate about the future. I am not psychic so I don't really know. I hope that they do something with the museum when the finally update the city. I have wanted to do more with that for a long time. As far as I can remember there are only two quests that have anything to do with the museum but I could be wrong (I have done them all so it can be difficult to remember details of all of them). I think that if they do anything with the museum it will definately be done when they update the city. I kind of hope that the update will be open to both f2p and p2p. That way the p2pers won't be complaining about another member update that they can see but can't do anything with (no offense to you f2pers that don't complain).

It is true that a lot of boards popped up speculating on what the items would be this year and a pumpkin mask was one of the items that I saw in a couple of them. He could have had the dream about it because of that. And him dreaming about the game does not make him a sad little nerd. People dream about things that they have seen or things that they have experienced in their lives. So him dreaming about a game that he plays is not really that odd at all.

As an owner of a quest cape, I would have to say that the quests are the things that I look forward to the most. Member quests are pretty much the only reason I joined it in the first place. :lol:

I love all of the graphics the way they are. I don't think that Jagex needed to change anything about them. :

I cannot wait for the Halloween event to get here. I am really excited about it. I am hoping that we get an item that we can wear and is actually usefull this time around. And a couple of new emotes is always nice. :
