The suggestion I will make as I'm unsure is to try. Get the gear you wish to fight the dragon in and before going into it's room go to check the passage.

Again, it is comments like this that makes me think you've played very little real CW. One of the best scorers in Castle Wars is not even closed to a maxxed player called Drr Blake (Formerly Snake Pit6). His setup for scoring is black dragonhide, jesters boots, fury, master wand, and zamorak book. I have def'd against him on occasions and trust me, you do not want to let him get loose a bit. In private 5 v 5 Castle war games, the setup is often 2 mages with 3 scorers. The mages is considered the most important part in those teams due to the fact that they are the main freezers of flags. Melee is mostly used as a support combat in Castle wars and is one of the part of reason why I like CW. If you try to score in full melee gear, my solution most of the time would be to let you out because I am confident that it would be easy to kill you before you have gotten anywhere at all. A scorer in full Dhide would be way more dangerous in my mind compared to someone in a divine and full bandos using chaotic rapier/longsword. P.S. - If mage was so underpowered in CW, why does all the stackers go on the team with 5-10 mages? The argument totally depends on what you expect when you say melee based. To me in CW it means somebody using a melee weapon, not melee armour. A new player with mage will not have much effect but a new player in half decent armour. Also couple with the fact that the majority of players will use melee, it does look to me as it is a very melee based minigame. Stackers will go with mages because they 'think' that mages will win, but I could easily win against a team of your average mages in cw. It's also a viable tactic to burn and splash cades now in full melee armour which can be just as effective as a mage in holding the flag.

Pretty simple, is there any chance we can have a button to automatically create hide tags instead of having to type them in manually? Edit: In light of the fact we already have one in the drop-down box, i do think it would be much better to have it on the main toolbar as it does get used very often.

We all know what caused it: [hide][/hide] I wonder if anybody would dare go to the bottom.

I agree it would be very nice, but I'm not sure whether the time spent doing it would be worth it if it meant losing 3-5 regular updates as it would mean changing how so many buildings work.

I'm sure i read somewhere the reason they won't do that (which they have tried in the past) is that when originally creating buildings and the floor system they never expected to try inter-floor sight. Which means that the roofs are all too low to allow players to see the floor below without people inside buildings poking through the roofs. With the hundreds and thousands of combinations of items which would stick through roofs or editing the hundreds of buildings, they decided it would be too much work for the little pay off.

See what the quest diary says. Not sure what else you could do. Is there still a quest help function on the Rs main site? Not sure if that has Dragon slayer or not on it.

But we don't all need a mature aspect to RS. It can take more maturity to enjoy the penguins than it does to enjoy the things which many consider mature. Runescape is a game where there is something for everybody. Not only is it a game which can be played by many, it is a game which can be enjoyed by many.

No they didn't but neither did we have magic, demons giant bugs and giant orc's. To be hones, compared to the rest of the RS content penguins are fairly close to being real.

But penguins were around in the middle ages (as far as I know), guns were not.

I'm sorry you feel playing this game is not cool, but then either don't tell people or don't play. Penguins are fun, their storyline is also very fun, that is what I want from a game. But the finale was just last week (or the week before). It's been an OK TV series. Not too great, but can be good at times. Looking at the Wiki there won't be a second series. That is a real shame, it was a very good series.

An act of war against who? Israel is at war with the Palestine's and Gaza if you boil it down to basics, and will do all within their power to enforce the blockade. They have not actually occupied Gaza so the above quotes mean nothing whatsoever. Israel is enforcing a blockade, not occupying the country. Instead of going in in a shock attack and creating mass criticism with military force they are stretching it out over a few years in an attempt to stretch out the criticism they receive.

Did anybody else watch this when it came back from the break? [hide]Saw the final episode of the Series tonight and it ended on a nice cliffhanger. It would have been nicer if they hadn't had Charlie saying 'they found him' which kind of implies Mark is not dead. It would have made for a nice storyline wondering if he was or not. Does anybody know when the next series will be? Charlie's flashforward showed a banner with 'Happy new year 2015', I don't want to wait 3 years for it, i just hope they set it then but show it earlier.[/hide]

I think a lot of people are looking too much at the bigger picture and too little at the event itself. If you look at videos of what happened, you would see so called 'peaceful' protesters on the boats hitting the military that boarded the boat with metal bats, in one case it is clear to see a group of at least 4 of these 'peaceful' people hitting a downed member of the military that boarded the ships. You would also see them forcefully throwing these men overboard into the sea. I am sorry but if you expect to hit somebody who has a gun with a metal bat, do not expect them not to shoot you when in such a volatile part of the world. It was indeed not a smart move by the Israeli's to initiate the boarding, but the actions that happened once boarded were almost totally the fault of those already on-board. As i say, the Israeli's were in the wrong doing this in international waters, but apart from that one point, they were only reacting. They had warned the ships to stop which they did not. They warned them they would be boarded if they did not stop, they still did not stop. They then, as I have said, hit the soldiers with metal sticks. The soldiers had not boarded with the intention to shoot, they had to do it as a reaction to save their own lives. They are trained military personnel, trained to contain a threat. The people on board get no sympathy whatsoever from me as i see them as complete and utter idiots for trying to fight. Now, for the bigger picture. My way of trying to explain the situation to other people (It only works for Brits) Is to imagine that Wales was the Gaza strip. It has its own government which resents the rest of Britain. Imagine that there had been numerous rocket attacks from Wales on mainland UK, and the Government of Wales had a very murky history of terrorism. Would you then be so opposed to a blockade?

Wow, the first ever update I can safely say I hate. The new armours look horrid. The old armour looked unique and would stand out in a crowd, the new armour look like rehashes from Dunegeoneering. They did nothing to improve the game itself just removed what made the minigame unique. Why could they not have kept the colour schemes for the armours? Why could they not have taken a single thing from the hundreds of suggestions on the main cw suggestions tread on the RSOF which has had hundreds if not thousands of supporters over the years? My word what a bosh job this update has been. I have not seen a single positive comment from anybody who previously played the game for any length of time or was involved in one of the numerous clans. On a less annoyed note, what will have happened to my Gold set in my POH? I don't have members so cannot check it out? Knowing the majority of the top ranked players for Cw feels strange.

I personally believe anybody should be allowed to practice whatever religion they want as long as it does not impose on the freedoms of another. Practising Islam is no problem to me as long as you do it peacefully. If a religion starts to promote violence then it should not be tolerated. Islam from what i have seen is split into two factions if you like. Extremists and rationalists. Rational muslims are fine, heck I have some friends who are. They will not be offended by a cartoon, you can even joke with them about it much like you could with jokes about other religions. The majority of them also have the same views as us that the extremists muslims are scum. They have twisted the words of their beliefs and will not think any other way.
