  1. You've only got the killers on your playlist, 007? :P
  2. True, when I re-read it after posting it was a bit of a weird read. Still briliant part though.
  3. Heh, a question I've seen on other fora as well. At first people thought they could easily name another 10 bands like TOOL. But after giving some links to my space they admitted it didn't come anywhere near and that they didn't know anything. One of the bands that came up was openhand, so just my space . com /openhand you can hear some of their songs there. They're quite alright, but it doesn't have much to do with it really. Other bands that came up, but in the end went down because it was all too different and not really comparable...30 seconds to mars, dredg, failure, oceansize. Meh, you can check 'm out, you might like them. But none of the bands really do what tool does to me. Failure is still very good btw. http://www. my space .com/failure
  4. I prefer bananas. What's this about man? Crap topic.
  5. Because it's such a great picture. This depressed jazz DJ, playing all this happy tunes on the radio. Because there's so much to see, and I like the combination between the drawn pictures and the photos. Grr.. I can see words in there but I can't read them :( Don't sit too close on the screen and you'll see it. :)
  6. What?? Anyway, The cook, the thief, his wife and her lover finally! It was so great. Especially thanks to the visual quality of the movie. The amazing sets, great experiments with lighting and the great camera slides and voyeuristic style. Delicious characters who were portrayed very good. And one of the best scores ever. The Rocky Horror Picture Show aah, the opening song really reminds me how much I love the movies. And well, the ultimate cult movie, do I need to say more? ;)
  7. 1. TOOL - Lateralus 2. The Beatles - Hey Jude 3. Crowbar - And Suffer As One 4. Neil Young - Love is a Rose 5. An interview with a beatle. 6. Ted Nugent - Fun Lover 7. Steve Vai - Brother 8. Tupac - Tha' Lunatic 9. The Rolling Stones - It's Not Easy 10. The Beatles - No Reply Are the first ten I would get if I would listen on shuffle.
  8. I've listened to it as well. I played it at work, so I don't know if I am right when I say I found the album a lot less interesting than Hot Fuss, and that the single (when you were young) sounded best. But that could be because of it's hit potential and the other songs just need some better listening. :)
  9. Moral of the story is not "Don't drive safe". but "Never buy a kitten box", there's always somebody who could total your car when you go out to buy one.
  10. Well, I found this little animation on another forum, and I thought it was great. So I must share it with you all! It's one big fight between famous album covers. Have you heard them all? http://motionographer.com/media/battle_adbands-w.mov Great work IMO.
  11. Sounds like elementary school rhyming. But that could be me of course. Oh, I'm going for a TOOL part as well...
  12. Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself was a complete disaster. What a horrible movie, from a talentless director that hasn't got ANY feel for cinema. She ought to do something else than making movies. It wasn't anything, not the black comedy I hoped it to be, no good drama, terrible romance; it went nowhere and it was about nothing. And I can still handle that when it has got decent acting prestations, or good cinematography and music, but this just lacked on every aspect.
  13. Hah, that's cool! How do you get music based on 50s horror movie though? Could you post like some lyrics or something? I'm quite curious to this.
  14. Oath (the word) sounds like tree. So I guess it's best labeled as green metal. Green metal is so great, about the connection of nature and this industrial atmosphere, you know. It's so interesting, here's a list of some great green metal bands: UnderOak Grinding Willow Vegitablica Wooden Maiden Vegan Corpse Cradle of Mud Great man, they're a little bit obscure, but be sure to check them out. You won't find them too often though, and you might have to drop veganism to get into it.
  15. Hah, Il Caimano was surpsingly good. Not as much politics as I thought it would have. And movies about movie making is always a pro. I complained about not wanting to see Vers le Sud so we went to the bar instead. Sorry guys.
  16. Sommaren med Monika was quite good. A somewhat 'mainstream' Bergman, open for a wider audience. :) Tonight friend draging me to the cinema and I need to see Il Caimano (Which I probably won't find too interesting because it involves politics) and Vers le Sud which seems to be a movie for 'old woman' who want to feel sexy again AND think they know stuff because they saw a 'french movie with Charlotte Rampling and two other actresses who are in their fifties'. This is the most disgusting movie goer and type of movie out there.
  17. Ah, thanks. Completely missed that, even when you pointed it out I couldn't find it. :P But saw it now. ;)
  18. The green guy next to johny cage (right side), is that liu kang? Did he turn into a zombie or something?
  19. Back in the day (hehe :') ) I wanted to sell and buy stuff. This seemed to be the perfect forum for my needs. Then i wanted some ego boosting so I vissited the rate this forum quite often. After that I went browsing off topic a little bit and stopped playing runescape. Then the forum closed down and this forum came, and I registered again for off topic.
  20. Yea, but also with work and so. When they ask me to take over a shift, and I'm really tired and don't really want to. I know I should say no, but I say yes just because they ask me and I can't say no. But when I ask them something, most of the time I don't get it. I should toughen up a little. :P
