  1. Haha, England out. :XD: Who could expected that. Ah well, the players are just to stupid. Holland didn't play very good either though. But alteast we're trough.
  2. Just because they get a car for their birthday? that doesn't make them happy, but spoiled swines. If you don't know what to ask other than the IHome system, don't ask for anything else. It would just be things you don't really want.
  3. What's wrong with Dizzee, Arcade Fire, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Battles (Don't miss them live!!) and Carl Cox?
  4. How frustrating. I have to wait till monday that my money is in so I can buy it. #-o
  5. BTW, Sumpya, have you seen what Eclipse is going to release next year? Yes!!! Cool huh?
  6. Not Trouble in Paradise? Ah well, they're all good!
  7. That's Sean Kingston! haha, have you ever seen something like that? He needs to get rid of the babyfat.
  8. Me mentioning Cave is a bit of a bore now, but the lyrics to this song are fantastic. I don't really have favorites. Don't reed if you believe in things as 'bad words'. [hide]Well, I lived with one Well, I lived with one, I lived with two, I even lived with a third I wanna tell you about number one He was a miserable sh*twringing turd Like he reminded me of some evil gnome Shakin hands was like shakin a hot, fat, oily bone Holdin on for far too long Yes he took me in, he took me in He said that I looked pale and thin I told him he looked fat His lips were red and lickin wet His house was roastin hot In fact it was a f*ckin slum Scum! 9. Haha, a couple of years ago I got back from the city at night. Had a bit too much, lost my keys and I tried to get back in trough the cat flap. I survived though.
  10. Yea, it's fantastic! I was there at one of the concerts of the tour. And that show was amazing, when I heard that CD it constantly got my goosebumps. The opening is brilliant. You've seen one of the shows as well? My personal top albums of the year are: 1. Ry Cooder - My Name is Buddy Cooder continues his musical journey and this time he goes back to the roots of American music. The music itself (that you can label as 'experimental country') is so enchanting, and together with the stories told by Ry you really go to another world. Of course Ry hasn't lost his other touch either, so the stories about the old America of the '30s are full of critique on society and government back then and now. 2. Arcade Fire - Neon Bible I wasn't really a fan of Funeral, it sounded nice, but it didn't really do me much. But when Neon Bible came out I gave it a spin right away. After hearing it at work I inmediatly bought it, and for the next couple of weeks it couldn't stop listening to it. From Black Mirror to My Body is a Cage there isn't a single track that isn't good. Ooh, those organs on Intervention, Win's desperate voice on Antichrist Television Blues, the end of No Cars Go and finally the end of My Body is a Cage. 3. Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall '71 Yea, it's a live album. And it's not exactly from 2007. But it got released in 2007. : This is perhaps the best release of 2007. It's so incredibly good. It's hard to explain, you'd have to hear songs like Love in Mind, to hear how good it is. Have fun. 4. Grinderman - Grinderman Ooh, now that's something else. Cave took some of his Bad Seeds, and instead of making another album full of beatitful balads, he made something a little different. It's dirty, and it leaves all those little kids listening to "The HEAR IT![/b] 5. Justice - Cross Better than Daft Punk? Genesis (openingtrack) 6. Daft Punk - Alive 2007 Best concert of the year for me. Too bad I couldn't find any youtube clips to do it any justice. Guess you'll have try the CD. :P 7. Editors - An End Has A Start 8. Mavis Staples - We'll Never Turn Back 9. Kanye West - Graduation 10. Nine Inch Nails - Year Zero
  11. Yea, it's that time of the year again. We had a best of topic earliers this year, March to be precise. But that was a little bit early, now that we're almost entering December, I think we can all make a little list. If there's any animo we might even make a little top 5 or something for M&M. So... What are you favorite albums of the year, so far?
  12. I don't like revenge. I don't believe that it will do any good. In fact, if I did such a thing like BlueLancer, I would only regret it the rest of my life. I couldn't justify it for myself. Jail, so that people can think of what they have done and change, okay. But anything else is just plain wrong and will get you nowhere.
  13. Seriously, grow up. It doesn't take much attention to see that it's an ice-cube. And if you meant it as a joke it's so obvious that it isn't even funny. But then again, most of the forumers are too young to have had an ejaculation. So it's kind of understandable. Anyway, this topic isn't about that. But, yea. Thanks for mentioning. Now what. Provide us with some material.
  14. Bara no soretsu [Funeral parade of roses] Oooh. Magnificent! A very cool collection of different styles and techniques that meet eachother at the high point of the Japanese New-Wave cinema. Documentary, animation, gay cinema, avant-garde, grindhouse, and much more. It has got everything. The movie isn't very hard to follow; as in you've got a story you can recognize. To actually follow it is a little bit harder, since everything thrown together. So watching it for a second time is recommended, so yo can catch everything. That our friend Eddie plays in a pornographic movie makes things even more interesting. Because of this the line of ficion and reality almost completely dissapears. It may sound weird, but it's very satisfactory, to losen up and fully down yourself in the Japanese drag-queen scene at the end of the sixties (yes, very specific :P). That Kubrick got his inspiration for A Clockwork Orange partially from this movie is very clear, as some scenes are directly copied. As you might have noticed, I can really recommend this movie, for those who want to see something different, of course. Short trailer Longer trailer
  15. "metalling up my music taste" Ever heard something like that before?
  16. If only I was a little bit older. I still prefer the third one. It was the first one I saw, and the earlier ones couldn't top it for me. :P The first one is a good number 2 though.
  17. Arcade fire was a bit of a let-down yesterday... But...My friend surprised me. He had two tickets to see Editors in Hof te Lo in Antwerp 9 march next year. And it's a smaller hall. Which is much better than those big halls with thousands of people (don't want to sound elitist, but it's nicer really). And that will most likely be one of the last times, considering their popularity at the moment.
  18. Uh, serious. What's suposed to be sarcastic about it? Matok! The third one is the best so far!
  19. How is it ruined? You haven't seen it. Besides, how can one movie ruin three others. It's not even a trilogy, it's three movies featuring the same character.
  20. I never thought of the Indiana Jones movies as a trilogy though. It's just that there happened to be three movies made of it.
  21. Can't wait to see it. From the still's i've seen Ford looks like he's in good shape. And at least I can see an Indie film in cinema now.
  22. "nearly threw up" It wasn't that bad. :P Haven't heard the album. Most likely we'll get it in stores this week and I'll play it at work.
