They should put all the anime fans on an island and burn it. The world would smell a whole lot better. :-k I've got this guy that comes to visit me at the shop every week. And out of the blue he just starts talking about all kind of anime series. There's no stopping him, he's just on your counter for nearly two hours raving about some kind of obscure Japanese cartoon, and then he leaves. Strange folk.

Really, it's such a shame, all these so called 'music fanatics' (read: teenagers listening to metal, thinking that they know everything)) claiming that pop-music is bad. But when you ask them why, they always come with some kind of lame answer. I wonder if they really know what pop-music is. My brother is turning into one of those kids as well. It's really hard to live with.

Maybe you should listen a little bit better. Whiskey in the Jar, One and Nothing Else Matters have been pretty popular in it's day. Not to mention that Metallica falls under the category pop-music as well.

Yea, but EU release is set for october 19th. :( But there's not much difference at working at a gameshop or not. Most of the time the games have got a specific date, and if you get your copy earlier you'll need to pay a lot of money because you broke the rule, and you get new games on the day on the release and not a day earlier so that you can sell them when you open, plus you're having the risk that they won't supply the game to you anymore. :P Yes, they're really strict.

And since when is popular music bad?

Not too important, I wouldn't have much trouble living without it. I hear around 10 hours a day. 8 during work because I work at a record store and we need to play music, and two in my own time, just for relaxing. So I listen for only two hours a day. Don't get me wrong though. I think music is very interesting, and I like it a lot. I might even go so far to say I love it. Well, some things. But I wouldn't have much trouble without it. Although I would miss my Steely Dan in stressfull times (I'm such a joker).

Here in Holland it played at the AFFF and two weeks ago at film by the sea. I missed both unfortunuatly. :( IMDB says 12 oktober for UK. :)

I wonder though. What do you consider to be good horror movie. What are you comparing the modern horror movie with? I hear somebody say "The oldies such as Alien, Shining, Silence of the Lambs". Yes, those are three classics. But I could easilly put at least 10 good horror productions, made in the last 12 years (that is also the period between Alien and Silence of the Lambs). Of course, Hollywood isn't going trough the most creative period at the moment. But there still is a lot of good material, and there's more than Hollywood. There are excellent horror movies made in Japan, and even in Europe there is a lot of good material. What do you think of movies such as Haute Tension, The Hills Have Eyes (remake) the Descent, Dog Soldiers, Wolfcreek, 28 Days Later. That's all very good Euro (and one Australian) horror made in the last five years.

Are you guys being sarcastic? If the movie looked anything like that clip I wouldn't even go if they paid me to see it.

In Turkey theyÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôre cheap, but then you havenÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâôt got the real stuff. :P I didn't knew Evisu was still hot, I remember we had a hype about it a year or five ago here in Holland.

I wouldn't go for the PJ Harvey album by the way. It's completely different to what Evanescence have done. It's quiete, intimate and very dark. It's something special that not everybody likes. Whereas Evenescence is a pretty standard pop act. That's if Evanescence is the only thing she listens to. What other things does she listen to? Or is Evanescence really the only thing she listens to?

Yea, still learning. A friend of mine was alive during that period and is still a huge wave fan, so he lets me borrow all kind of things. He bombed me with stuff from the Cure, Siouxsie, the Glove Depeche Mode, OMD, Duran Duran, Bauhaus, Ultravox and so much more. He's got over 2600 Cd's. Biggest part all wave. And of course he's a big 4AD fan. So I'm getting there bit by bit. :P
