  1. I believe in God, and I believe in being a good person. But I don't believe in the bible and all it's idiotic followers. I don't know where that puts me, but I bet some of the experts here could tell me. If so, please do. Then I've got something to tell on parties. Oh, for what it matters. I also believe that God has created the earth.
  2. Yesterday at the filmfestival": Away from her Sarah Polly debut as a director. Atom Egoyan's influence is cleary vissable. It's a pretty daring theme for somebody her age; alzheimer. And it was a pretty rough watch, although she could have gotten some more about it. Still very good though, especially for a debut. Atonement haven't read the book, but the movie was very good. Finally a sort of 'costume drama' that has that special visual thing again. Especially the 4 minute shot at Duinkerke was brilliant. Eastern Promises Yay. We had an 'exclusive' premiere for this movie (well, it played at toronto, but I believe that was all), and there were all kind of 'important' people in the hall (Ben Kingsley, Alex van Warmerdam, we sat next to him), and it was so amazing. But I'm a bit of a Cronenberg fanboy. It's about russian mob in England. And it's amazong, so go see it.
  3. What's up with all these lamers creating their own crappy pictures and posting them here. Why do you feel it's necessary to show us your crap? Nobody asked for it. And they certainly aren't funny. So go away, creepy copy cats. Hm, now that you do requests. Could you do a creepy copy cat? I need something above my bed.
  4. The CrÃÆÃâÃâüxshadows - The Mystery of the Whisper 02. Cruelty They're not as bad as they look. Actually, they're pretty good.
  5. Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds Ry Cooder Johnny Cash Steely Dan Frank Zappa Are the people that I listen most to at the moment.
  6. I got a day off on saturday, I'll listen to them then. I never heard of them before, so I'm curious what it will sound like.
  7. Yesterday I saw Once at the festival. And it was pretty awesome. It's with the singer from the frames, and his girlfriend. And they live in Ireland, and they want to make music, and they have got troubles. And. <3 <3 Beautiful soundtrack. Too bad they only played three songs at the 'concert' after the movie, and even worse that those [wagon] from Blof had to show up again forcing their sh*t upon us, making it a thirteen in a dozen preformance instead of a great acoustic set. But the movie was great, recommended! Saturday going to see Away from Her and Atonement. Wanted to see SzabadsÃÆÃâÃâág, szerelem (children of glory) and Iszka utazÃÆÃâÃâása (Iska's Journey) today, but bad weather, and football on tonight, so I got to miss them. :( I can see Children of Glory on sunday, but unfortunuatly they don't play Iska's Journey anymore. :(
  8. Best ignore that clown. I doubt much good will come from paying attention to him.
  9. Hmm. PSV tonight. I hope we'll do well! :) I doubt it though, CSKA is hard.
  10. It's Sk8er boi, not Skater boy. Anyway, I can't stand the girl. Her music seems to be so "kids only" (it's a special rack in our shop where we put the stuff mainly directed at younger audiences). And she's trying too hard (which is a big turn off), but then again, that seems to be the problem with any female artist out there since Janis Joplin (and I don't even like her!). Girlfriend is meant to be satire, of course.
  11. Me and my friends always ridicule it. It's so lame.
  12. What kind of satire band are you when you can't make up your own songs...
  13. Hmm, Bubsa dancing in a thong. tip.it gets better by the day. Have yet to listen to the song, but judging the lyrics it can't be anything other than great, especially with Matt's voice. I'll listen tomorrow. 8-)
  14. Is there?... got an imdb link? Yea, it's unofficial and kind of obscure though. http://imdb.com/title/tt0122050/
  15. It's a bit of an extreme maybe. But how you guys are reacting is even weirder.
  16. yesterday at the quiz I got a belated birthday gift from a girlfriend: From my boss I got 300 1-disc from her goodiebag that she got at the shopmanager day. And I bought Troy and The Prestige myself.
  17. How old are the boys? If both children just went along, why not. I don't really see the problem. It's not like they didn't want to, right?
  18. there already is a dragon ball live action movie.
  19. Yesterday at the film festival: A Mighty Heart the last movie by Michael Winterbottom, it was a bit of a let down. The start was very good, but the movie got a little bit uninteressting while it carried on. Got back good at the ending though. Holly About child prostitution, in Cambodia. Pretty rough material. It was shot in the brothels in Cambodia so it had a really authentic feeling around it. Rough camera, beautiful score, 'cool' characters. It is kind of draining though. And what was a bit funny. The filmmaker that introduced the movie to us said that he wanted to take a different angle on the movie and not make a hollywood like movie. But while watching the movie I got more and more the feeling that I was watching something heavinly influenced by classic noir movies.
  20. Man, that's pretty shocking news. Although I never seen rally or something, he was one of those mysterious figures that popped up during my youth every once in a while. You know, the type of guy you'd never expect to die. Man.
  21. Not too loud, it's nice to have a conversation once in a while, guys.
  22. Never heard them. And it doesn't look very inviting either. So I don't think I'll listen to them anytime soon. Sorry, but at least I'm the first one not saying that it is bad.
