I don't know if anyone even remembers me but long story short: I date back from a time when Leesters and Oddfaery were still around. When the godwars came out, I was pretty good at doing things on my own, so I started the quest for an armadyl hilt, obtained on my own. I managed to get around 2-4 kills per trip in those days, sometimes 1 sometimes 5 or more. Managed to die quite a few times as well! What I thought would take a few hours, took a few days, then a few months eventually even a few years. Methods became better (familiars, superpotions, prayers,... ), trips became longer but I never saw that hilt up untill a few days ago. It's worth only a fraction of what it was when I started this but it is my greatest possession now. I proudly present to you: THE HILT

I personally enjoy these. There's a chance of a visage drop, and you make profit every trip. On the left you see the things i used in those 40 minutes, right you see the things i picked up. Wasn't a good trip with low charms but I can hit around 300 charms usually in those 40 minutes. I used to go for waterfiends but they aren't nearly as profitable as these.(around 120 crimson an hour and around 800k profit an hour) There's a good guide on these forums on how to efficiently kill them. Good luck.

Yup, Looking for the closest pottery wheel next to a bank. Thanks for helping out

First of all, here are my stats, I think I meet most statrequirements. Looking for a European/worldbased mature clan that does a bit of everything: Skilling, PVM, PVP.... I have a very demanding job as well as daily housechores and a baby planned for the near future, I cannot meet any compulsory weekly activity requirements. However whenever I'm on I enjoy doing some things together with a few friends and I love to hang out and chat in Clan chats. In short, just looking for a clan that has to offer me a bunch of good chats and new friends to tackle things together in Runescape. Previous clans: Red dragon Knights - Left after a dispute with the owner of the clan after hosting a dropparty I did not ask permission. Damage Incorporated - Had to leave because I wasn't able to attend weekly Pktrips anymore, otherwise I think I'd still be in that clan. It's closed now. That's about it, leave a post or a PM if you have a clan that you think will suit me. Thanks in advance

Not always the pkers who win... First one attacked my pony, so i killed him, then I saw 2 mages picking on a lvl 90 and decided to help the 90. We came out victorious. Also, Corrupt Stat Helm on walk in, anyone know the market price? -
Got bored

How do you lure the botters?. sounds fun to do Also are they high levels because i"m maxed and just looking for some botkilling fun -
If you have a rapier and turmoil I suggest trying Mithril dragons. Charmrate of about 80 crimson and 120 greens an hour, not doubled.

Nope, I can get it fine on both of my computers, it's just when my opponent turns BEFORE it counts down to 1, he gets a first hit, want to know how it's done and what can be done about it. thx for the help though
-
Ello, I'm a pretty good staker when it comes to first hits, but sometimes, usually the higher stakes and better opponents, my opponent turns towards me before the countdown has ended and when i attack him a little after the countdown has reached 1 (usually the way to get first hit) it always says that my opponent is still counting down. What am i doing wrong here? Thx Airless

Wilderness and free trade vote! - Now Closed
AirlessWig replied to Jimmyw3000's topic in General Discussion
You're hilarious. The 90% is in favor of free trade- wilderness on every world is more like an idiot rider attached to a good bill. I've been playing since 2001, so... Well I did like it. Nothing better than hopping all over the worlds at magebank in search of some pkers. Besides, I will enjoy runecrafting again then. I never trained RC anymore after they removed the wilderness, Rcing without the pkers just wasn't as fun anymore (anyone remember Dommark44 or Cali Ice lol). Free trade is a definate yes! World 2 fally park will be alive and kicking again, heck even edgeville bank will revive! I would really love to see that coming back. As for clues/runemining, I don't think you'll get pked that much, considering all pkers will be spread all over again, it's hard to run in against anyone at all in the wild, as far as I remember though. Let's hope they keep the Grand Exchange but remove the amount of items you can buy max, then we get to keep the only good thing that this update brought. -
Think i'm going for the gold then. 9m compared to 50m is alot :-) thx both

Heyhey, I'm looking into training smithing to 89 or 90. Just want to know what is decent xp and at what cost? Would adamantite be good or stick to gold ores (sooo slow -.-) I'm a decent moneymaker so i have somewhat of a bank to cover some costs. Thanks in advance.

I use the same tactics at zamorak boss as i do with sara boss with amazing results solo. Can easily do 10-15 on a solotrip. As for pvp, it can be useful but only when you freeze your opponent

this is weird thats a yew, willow and magic composite from a lvl 3 clue

Yea, i'm buying lumberyard ones. Makes it easy to get planks

Lvl 1 clues do contain teleports. Teleport to the lumberyard, teles you right next to the plank maker. Finally a good way to make a few fast planks -

Thats very good. Very good. 1000 kills does not take that long to do. Still takes quite some time. On topic: I really like the way you banked everything. A bit unlucky indeed on the drops, should have gotten more of everything but overal you got some decent loot down there. Congrats!! -

got mine off a lvl 48 -
Actually that was done with GWD if im not mistaken. Proof: [hide=Double GWD Drops][/hide] The first few days of GWD's release there was a "glitch" which made some drops doubled. It's not clear if it was an honest glitch or a way to quickly put the items into the game. Either way, they should have done that with sigils too, to at least put a higher ammout of them out there. Actually it was a clanchat glitch that made users appear twice in the clanchat, at lootshare, an item given to a person would then be doubled because the person was in the clanchat twice.

At lower levels it doesn't matter much and I think the cost of food and the lack of money at lower levels might persuade some to train slayer with ranged. At least I used to. However once you hit the higher levels, all you need for a task is a few bunyips and maybe guthans. The cost for melee becomes much lower. The damage though becomes alot higher, hitting 35's - 40's with mask is common. That together with the fact that higher tasks are harder to range (Abyssals, Gargoyles, Dark beasts,...) make melee a much more efficient and cheaper way to do slayer.

If you use a familiar with slayer, and your familiar does the final hit, you don't get xp. Either you have to do 15-20 more every task or not use a combatfamiliar.
