Youd think that firing an arrow at several 100 km/h would put some strain on it Prayer: Why not just make it so that you only get prayer xp from burying bones in the graveyard? It makes sense, youre not honouring them by burying them in the middle of a bank or the forest 2x or 2.5x is an aweful lot, prayer is hard to raise for a reason: the high level prayers are really good. Theyre trying to reward the people who put lots of effort into the skill (and it makes people become members because its really hard to raise prayer otherwise)

I think this is a great idea (in fact i was thinking about suggesting this myself) although i think they should be called scabbards (synonym, but with a less difficult-to-pronounce plural) and should be purely visual - whenever you have a sword equipped you see a scabbard at your waist Why bother having all the confusion of putting your weapon in the scabbard - if it means you have to take it out before combat then everyone will just leave it out Oh and yes scabbards for scimitars would be difficult, but true scimitars didnt have broad blades, they were just curved (so you could sheath (verb :D ) them

I agree, f2p get a lot of updates The only problem is theyre all content updates... For once i wish jagex would give us an interface update - like a friends list upgrade, bank page update, or something like that Im not saying give this only to f2p, but if members get updated interfaces it should carry over to f2p

Why dont we just make our characters appear where-ever we click... Seriously, this idea is plain silly - this would eliminate all the point of the game, just like making all items stackable

Mabye the reason mages dont pk alone is because they dont have snare :D If they could use it, they would pk more often

If we do this for fletchers then miners everywhere will demand to be allowed to wield a hammer in the off-hand

But some scammers are so good i come to respect them (yes that sounds insane) I was walking through varrock wearing full rune t (which i had at the time) and this guy (lvl 3) comes up and says "ill give you 1mil for your legs and kite" and im thinking sounds good to me opens trade window me:puts up rune t legs and kite scammer:puts up 1mil me:presses accept scammer:puts up a cape (probably to make the unaccepting not as suspicious) and changes the 1000k to 10004 me:kind of notices this, but presses accept anyway through reflex we get to the second page, i notice this really easily me: "nice try" scammer:err... he logs off i didnt even report him because he was so cunning :D

This is stupid, you cant just mould the wildy to suit your own wants :evil: If you want to be a better pker, get teleblock and kill people before they can run away

Whats the point in bringing in taxes? Jagex has already brought out construction, and i think the idea with that is that all money will eventually pass through the hands of a member Besides, people would just create heaps and heaps of accounts and spread the money out - tax evaded :D

Guys, there is a reason jagex doesnt release any f2p updates, and yes, it is because they want us to become members Im f2p, but i still think minigames should be members only, giving them to f2p would be like making dragon f2p (not a good idea) Minigames are part of the membership deal - something you cant get without paying, and therefore something jagex wants us to pay for

Whats there to show? All im suggesting is that when you go into a trade, your chat box down the bottom only shows messages from you and the person youre trading with Or mabye just put another setting on the public chat button, which says "trade"

Besides which, guns are indeed on the list on the rs official forum, which lists all the things not to suggest because they will not be considered (besides which how is this different to ranging?)

I know this has been mentioned (by me) in another thread, but i felt it was a large enough idea to deserve its own thread (is that classed as spamming?) What i propose is a way of communicating with someone you are trading with, much like private chat When you open a trade window, your chat box changes so you can only see messages that you and your trade-partner have sent This would be unbelievably useful while trading on world 1/2/3 or anywhere where there is too much public noise to talk

Wouldnt this make every single other type of transport obselete? i mean, why bother making teleport jewelry if you can just teleport wherever you like, regardless of how many runes it takes. It would take all the fun out of the game, just like making all items stackable (and that has been suggested by some n00b on the official rs forum)

What a great idea, im surprised they havent put this into the game already PKing isnt risky these days, because everyone has tele runes, so this would be an awesome change (mabye even forcing pkers to think twice before they attack...then again it probably wont)

I think its a great idea, except for the bit about the opponents next attack. That would be a little overpowered. Say for instance you were pking with a guthix brew, and you were fighting some guy who, for some reason, decides to tell you he's about to use his special attack, in a "now youre dead" kind of way, you could just take a swig of this guthix brew and take no damage Other than that, sounds great

can we try and keep it on-topic (the topic being rs) Its a good idea, which im sure is why wow uses it, but its just not practical for use in rs, again because you lose things like drop parties and picking up things from other people's monsters if they dont want it

Changing something like that would be a huge change to the way the game works, and id say jagex would be unlikely to change it. RS has been around for a while, so if there was a more efficient combat system, id say they would have thought of it by now I see where youre coming from with this, but it would mean someone who has mabye str lvl 30 attacking someone wearing barrows or something, they would never do any damage at all That makes sense, but it doesnt make the game fair Nice idea, but i cant really see it happening

I think the new bank idea would kind of make this idea redunadant, but if they dont use the new bank idea (or dont change the bank at all) then it would be useful. Slightly hard to institiute though, unless you had to tell it what item you were looking for (which id say many players would have trouble with) This would still be a welcome addition to the bank though

I totally agree. The frog mask looks stupid. But that doesnt mean there should be more uses for the frog token. Its a random event. If you already have a frog mask and prince/princess outfit, then drop the token
