I wasn't playing back in 2001 when Runescape was first released, but I sure do wish I had been there :( . Anyway, I wonder if everyone that was associated with Runescape around the time that the link in the first post shows had any idea how huge Runescape would become.

Most of my video game playing time goes to Runescape. If I'm not playing RS, I'm playing either COD4, GTA4, Crysis, or World in Conflict.

I'm so excited. I'm working on my combat stats right now so that way I can hopefully help out more.

I don't think Runescape will decline around 2010, or even 2011 for that matter. Tons of people still play Diablo 2 and that game doesn't even get updated that much, so it makes sense that tons of people would continue to play a game that is updated almost every week. Plus, with new forms of advertising, such as the German commercial, more people that may not have even heard of Runescape may decide to give it a try. I think that Runescape will in fact gain more players in the coming years.

Pretty sweet for those that don't have their own credit card (or their parent's) to use.

I thought that being able to use High Alchemy in real life would be the top answer. I would just go around and randomly alch stuff, like cars.

Whenever someone said to not use prayer, I of course used it anyway. No rules in Wilderness, nubs. I would usually just attack people that I thought would put up a good fight , not really caring if I got skulled or not, since I could just buy anything I lost back anyway. If they started arguing about who was going to attack first, they were probably one of those that would run away when they were almost dead, so I didn't waste my time.

Never got a Pharoah's Sceptre though #-o

I got 30 crawling hands once. That was pretty lame.

Well, I've been doing Pyramid Plunder since 74 Thieving and I am pretty close to 99. The thing is, I have never gotten a Pharoah's Sceptre. Does this seem odd to anyone? Any advice?

I will check out the PvP worlds when they are released but for the most part, at least in the near future, I probably won't visit them too much since I will be focusing on raising up non-combat skills.

I was looking at the pics that Runescapew44 posted and I can't believe how much Runescape has changed in the 3 years since I started playing. I remember the main page and everything and I even remember when Farming was released. Quite amazing.

I would probably focus on schoolwork more than I do now. I would probably just play different games in my free time, or read more books.
