  1. Estimated time, I'd say close to 2 weeks. Had a friend joined affliction and then HU. Started at about 85 att and took him 3 weeks (and a little over) to get to 99. He played only on the current good worlds, and was on quite a bit.
  2. Moving to "The Gallery" for signature/artwork help. Also, this isn't the RS forums, you do not need to bump your topic so quickly. Only bump if it's no longer on the first page.
  3. Talk to Brother Tranquility to get another Broken one, if I remember correctly.
  4. True, but they could just take the book with them. Using it whenever they feel the need after being poisoned.
  5. The new prayer book from the Great Brain robbery quest, I know it will cure you if you use it (and wearing a holy symbol) of poison. But does it offer immunity after using it like the potions do? (probably doesn't)
  6. If you have an Amulet of Nature, you can use it on one patch and it will monitor it and let you know if it gets diseased or when it'd fully grown. Other than that, no unless you actually watch/check it, there is no way of knowing. What i did when I was doing a lot of herbs, was to plant all the herb patches and go woodcutting (or whatever skill you want). And check them every 15-20 minutes.
  7. Do you have acces to shilo gem rocks? You can get them there also.
  8. I just used the assistant, so I was wrong about it I guess. ( I could've swore that I had 42kg starting out with). Unless they changed it, but I'm probably just remembering incorrectly.
  9. crushed gemstone, pickpocket ham members for jades and such. Then cut them, you'll get a crushed one very quickly. As for the snapdragon and super compost, I'd say buy the herb and if you're looking to save time the compost also. Otherwise you can make your own super compost - http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=farmi ... tm#compost
  10. 42kg (if I am remembering correctly, pretty sure I am) to start, then when you use thw illow to fly, it will drop you down to 40kg. As you won't have the willow on you anymore.
  11. yea that's what I did, took only 19-20 logs, I think(along with the willow log I would use going there). That made me about 42 kg, then using up the willow took me to 40kg. It is the best way to do planks, I think. That way you can do more actual construction using your butler to just retrieve planks and not an extra trip to sawmill.
  12. Please use the appropriate marketplace forum for all buying and selling.
  13. Multiple logins are illegal from Jagex's rules. Locked
  14. F2P do get occasional updates, they just aren't the updates you want. Graphics, music, etc. little things to make the game a bit better aesthetically don't really add to the actual gameplay, but they are updates none the less. Again, there were 3 updates for F2p in 2006, that added actual content. New prayers - which just as easily could have been made members. New bank in Lumby - now almost every city in F2P has a bank. Stronghold of Security - which included 4 new monsters to train on. F2P will eventually get updates, it's just not on any set schedule. If you enjoy the game for free, then getting an eventual update is worth it. If not having updates is "ruining" the game for you, then you have choices. Pay, accept it or find another free game that does update their free version. I have yet to see a post saying why F2P should get updates, but plenty of reasons why they want to get updates.
  15. Lcoked. Questions was answered and nothing new added for bumping it.
  16. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=cooki ... e.htm#burn EDIT: Vulxai beat me to it. :P
  17. Are you suggesting that they need to lure in order to make money? You are right. Jagex customer support would be bogged down with even more headaches, but that is no reason to not make it against the rules. And 1seck0, you lure because you think it's funny, are incredably rude, and seem to enjoy spamming up the thread by posting several times in a row, GFTO. Save the space you occupy for someone else worthy of calling themselves human. Also, learning english wouldn't hurt. But it is against the rules, the wording in Rule 2 is very clear about lying/deceiving other players. Just that it's not reportable from some of the mod responses I've seen on these threads, as the chance of the lurer saying something incriminating in most cases is too low. Sometimes you have to pick your battles. If a player has no intention of buying/selling (whichever the case may be) an item and just uses that as an excuse to get someone in the wild. It's illegal. Trust shouldn't be considred a character flaw. Since a lot of younger people play this game, some haven't had the "life experiences" to teach them that some people will say whatever they have to to get what they want. Granted it is better they lose something from a game than in real life. But to some it's feels the same.
  18. As far as I know, Deception means to trick someone into a deal/proposition with false information. According to Rule #2, Deception is an illegal practice in RuneScape. Luring is pretty much lying to someone to get them into the wildernesswith their valuables. So..since we have defined Luring, it seems it is a form of DECEPTION..is it not? So, is Jagex breaching their own rules? Does this mean that they are being hypocritical by saying we need to follow the rules? I say yes. LURING, as I see it, is a highly dishonorable and idiotic practice. It disappoints me that Jagex showed their TRUE intelligence by allowing this to go on. I think they "breach their rules" out of neccessity. Can you imagine if it was a reportable offence? How would you decide from a snapshot of the chat what really happened? Unless they said "hey, come to the wild with all your expensive stuff....no I promise I'm not going to let you get killed." The reports customer service people would have a headache trying to sort out all those reports. Besides, it's not like if they said it was illegal, those people would stop. They prey on those that are "weaker" than them, why would a rule against it matter?
  19. Locked. Tip.it's position on luring is that it is illegal, discussion of actual types of lures isn't allowed here.
  20. Account sharing is against Jagex's rules and is not allowed on Tip.It's forums. Locked
  21. Emerald was Lunar Diplomacy. But, yea, those are the only two jeweled lantern lens'
  22. Yes they do, also the saw and evil dave's stew stack. The tea and stew, unfortunately don't stack with each other.
  23. I'd say that's an extreme grey area. Since it is info for in game, then I wouldn't think it would be illegal. But if someone were to say "Hey, for 1 mil rs gold, I'll post my great money making guide", at that point it becomes a payment for a service outside of game. It is just a technicality, but something like that would be no different than buying the "runescape money making guide" (advertised on most RS fansites) for rs money. Since all it is, is ways of making money in game. Now saying "For 1 mil rs gold, meet me in Draynor (world XX) and I'll SHOW you how to make money" would be completly legal (as long as they weren't showing you a method that breaks the rules).
