  1. I'll probably enter...don't choose yet
  2. Actually transparency works with .gif format as well, and 8-bit pngs. What 24-bit pngs allow is partially transparent pixels. However as you said, Internet Explorer doesn't support 24-bit .pngs. However most alternative browsers (Opera, Mozilla, ect) do support them.
  3. Digging through old files and found that...what d'you think?
  4. To save on bandwidth and to increase the overall quality of the image, Please just post the little area with your house, and then somone will compile them all..
  5. Don't worry about it. My best advice is to just keep trying, mess around with whatever crazy idea you have. It doesn't matter if it's been thought of before, just for practice... My other peice of advice would be to not post everything you make, just post something once in a while that you think is really good. I only post/posted like 25% of the stuff I do/did...
  6. I don't like it at all. It doesn't have any real "theme" to it, it looks like you were just trying to make it look "dark" or "evil" or whatever other cliche' sterotyped thing you want to call it. The skull is pointless and cliche'. The "blood stains" on the door, as you probably think they are, look like somone flung kool-aid at the door. The "swirly lines" do nothing and make it look somewhat filterpiled, which is especially bad because you've put it on top of cliche'-ness and brushpile-ness.. Oh, also, the title has nothing to do with the peice, or at least nothing to do with the peice in it's present state. I see nothing "hidden" about the door.
  7. You should definitely order something from this guy if it looks even remotely like something you'd want. The money is well worth it! Check out this drawing he did for me: He listened to me, and gave me exactly what I wanted, even when I couldn't even really describe it well. Thanks again misterxman!
  8. Do you think you would be able to do like a dragon of some sort? Since they're not too far from dinosaurs really..
  9. Vector Graphics get their name because they're made up of Vectors. Vectors are mathematically defined lines and curves that don't loose quality when you scale them up, so, they're perfect for advertising and such where you need to have things that can go as small as a coffee mug and as large as a bilboard.. As for the image itself- The tusks, and pretty much everything, but especially the tusks, need to be smoothed out. At the moment it looks like the lines were all drawn in by somone with a severely shakey hand... Also, the area where the tail comes off doesn't look quite right...too sharp or something...
  10. The limits specify which dimension is height and which one is width. Since it's against the rules to go over those limits, I think the question answers itself.
  11. oh.... Yeah, erm, don't spam please.. I think I might have it somewhere for some reason azvi...lemme look..
  12. Tttia, I deleted the post in question because the content in one of the posts was too inapropriate to be left there.
  13. Your avatar is inappropriate, no drug related sigs/avs allowed.
  14. Erm...I really doubt you brushed that..looks like an abstract bryce render or something...
  15. It's too large for the boards. The limits are 300 pixels wide, by 150 pixels high, and with a file-size of 30,000 bytes. Please change or remove it.
  16. An animation that complex might be a bit difficult to fit within the 30000 byte limit..
  17. In my opinion, it's still unrealistic because you don't know the source is there, and you can't see it.. Perhaps if you just zoomed out a bit or something you could preserve the overall integrity of the peice, and still show what's going on. Also, something I just noticed.. Given where the lighting is, the rust on the gutter seems to be gouging in rather than going out. It also looks rather "Photoshop-bevelish", if you know what I mean.
  18. As long as nobody out and out copies me I'm fine with the links..
  19. Very nice... A few things though... The moss on the walls doesn't look entirely natural, the shape is good, but it sticks out too far from the wall, and it should sort of fade out a bit at the edges.. The lighting on the "archway" of the right building doesn't look right, perhaps you could fix that if you moved the light source up a bit, and put a second lantern above the arch...or just removed that lightsource alltogether.. Also, the texture on the pot on the plant in the corner seems to pristine, it should be roughed up a bit to fit in with the theme of everything else..
  20. Alright, sorry, but this kind of post really isn't needed. Also, to everyone else, don't be jerks, seriously. If you've not got anything nice to say say nothing at all.. I personally think the sig is better than a lot of other people's who've not been making sigs long. It's well-balanced, the text is readable, and there's not some ripped bg or filterpile.
