Jagex are officially beyond retarted. At first I thought Pest Control was the biggest insult to us old timers, but Bounty Hunting has topped it off completly. WTF were they thinking. This is why a game made by non gamers goes through so many flaws. Bounty Hunting has completely ruined the honor system we upheld, its beyond disgusting. Praying 1v1 in combat was unheard of in the old days, and pjing with friends ther exists more than ever. So angry, Jagex are toppling downhill faster and faster, establishing Runescape more and more each day as a game for young children who haven't hit puberty. It's become mindless and disgraceful.

Best response ever, thanks so much :P I have 80 mil, so I might look into GE manipulation, sounds very nice indeed. If someone were to point me in a direction of a guide or merely a further explanation of the GE system ( still confuses me a little ) much appreicated. Thanks again :D

I've seen several posts of many of us old timers coming back into RS after 1-2 years, and instead of ranting on how good the old days were, or asking if we should come back, I'd like to know some other stuff... Yes, this is going to be a hard post to answer, or possibly really easy. Axe hut and bandit hunt afk training still viable? Or are there better options? Barrows sets now obsolete? Or still worthy? Any new better sets? If so, what are the prices? Whip still reasonable to train with? Or are there better cheaper items, possibly from quests? Still same ways to train skills as of 2 years ago? For instance: 1. Prayer leveling within your house still the best? 2. Theiving in the temple? 3. Agility in the wilderness course? 4. Farming from allotments? (Any new seeds?) 5. Yew and magic trees still best for money/leveling? 6. Construction still leveled by making oak larders? (Man that was annoying) Or better ways now? 7. Any others you can think of that's now better? Any new worthwhile quests? As well as rewards? What quests will open up certain new worthwhile objectives? Pking I hear is dead, lame. Bounty Hunting sounds good imo, but is it actually crowded? Or merely dead. Can bounty hunting be rigged due to friend involvement? ... ... Breather, phew. ... ... Summoning worthwhile? Difficult to level? Expensive to level? New zones? Any other major changes in the past 2 years. Remember I have read up briefly on the site and tip it site for most of my information so far, but the above questions are better answered by the public. So don't reply to this post telling me the graphics are updated, because I know :P I think that's all for now. I know it's supposed to go into the help and advice, but if this is tip it of old, i'll get more luck and responses posting it here. Thanks in advance for your time. P.S. Zezima finally shunted from 1st place, but he is still obviously the best. He still has more total xp than anyone, with summoning still ready for leveling, HAH!

I've been gone for a little over a year, just reading up on all the new stuff now. I'm still not sure what to do either, there's so much new stuff, and it'll be hard dealing with the Jagex customer support after living it up with Blizzard on WoW. But i've jsut got so much stuff and time spent on my character, I've been like 1901 total over a year and a half now, and it still seems like thats decent. Mmm we'll see. If anyone can give us oldschoolers a run down on the major new things and prices, that'd be appreciated.

Wow, first post back here, might even think about playing Rune again. What's changed in the game guys? Is it worth it for an old timer like me to come back? Can i adapt quickly to all the new changes? :o

I don't ever think RS was black and white. I think you're truely oldschool if you were around in RS classic, that's a player who has been through the most and witnessed the full impact of the RS updates. I remember when the Wilderness was realeased :oops: August 2001, when I first logged on and got lost in Lumbridge

Upon doing so, I've also gained 1900 total, a long time goal of mine. Here's the picture: For those of you who are interested, here's my previous 70 + all stat moments, ahh memories :D Agility to 70 + All stats. Stat picture in hiscores below Farming skill released, once more attacking 70 + all stats. Achieved on my lonesome :P The release of construction gave me another stat to raise to 70, and not long after its release I was back up there. Here's my previous decent total levels: 1700 Total: 1800 Total: When I get back from college again ( next holidays ) I'll attempt to get closer to my 80 + stats goal and the next overall milestone, 2000 total. Looks like you play casually like me, good to see :P I think the game will last a lot longer that way, as you have proved after 6 years. I started in August 2001 and am barely keeping up with the people who started in under a year. Let's also not forget how easy the game got buddy. If everything was as easy as it was now I'm sure you'd have a lot more to show :D Goodbye and goodluck ^_^

MEP2 - I went crazy with that quest ... so dang hard. Scariest and most exciting quest was Underground pass. I did it at a very low level and struggled big time. However if I were to do it at my current level it would be quite easy, so I guess I can't qualify it as the hardest quests. So MEP2 wins :oops:

I'm not sure if this is the right section, but here goes anyway. I'm interested in the codes for forum drop down menus. When someone clicks on it, a whole new section opens up for the viewer. I haven't on here or on rs for a while, so this is really new to me. If anyone could help I'd be very grateful, thanks in advance.

I haven't played in a while so I'm not sure about all the new monsters, but for me it would be green dragons. Easy to range, melee and mage, always good drops, good source of crafting and prayer xp. Plus my sig would become unuseable :P
