Dutch court ruling on kids forcing another to hand over RS goods
There is a difference in buying a car which you don't know that it is a hired one and buying runescape money which you know is against the rules.

Understanding How Bots Work
Only botting and selling bots/scripts is not illegal. The only thing Jagex can do is like they did to RS Bot... Make it change it's name. Otherwise, botting is completely legal (Although against Jagex's rules). You should read what I wrote. I didn't say anything about bots/scripts, I said gold farmers. Gold farming is illegal, no matter which way you look at it. But since you brought up bots/scripts, I'd support shutting those down via illegal methods as well. What can I say, my sense of justice is closer to Rorschach than Captain America. I'm curious as to where you got your information as to gold farming being illegal. The only country that I can think of to have openly banned gold farming being China. While it is against almost every game's ToS/EULA, it is not a criminal offense and can very rarely hold in court. The only problem I have seen any country have with collecting/selling of virtual goods, is whether it's to be taxable or not... Not whether it is illegal or not. They are selling stuff that is the right of a company and ruining the product of the company (the product = runescape) which causes that jagex loses costumers. How is that not illegal? Just because it is virtually gold? Also I don't believe that you have gone through the laws of every country to see if it is not illegal. It could be legal in some country's and illegal in some other country's. Also about China, that is where probably the most gold farming is coming from.

Dutch court ruling on kids forcing another to hand over RS goods
You forgot one thing, at runescape the person could have spend hours and hours to get those items. The person with the bike did not need to spend that many hours to get the bike. It is like you borrowing a house which you live in and someone breaks things of/in your house which the owner of the house (the person you are borrowing it from) has to get refund but has taken hours of you to repear it (or something like that). The persons didn't steal a thing from him, they did steal his time and work spend on the game. Jagex owns your account and everything on it. Jagex still owns it when the kid pulled out his knife. Deal with it. Where did I say jagex doesn't? It deals with existing precedences where you cant buy "work" put into accounts or items in RWTing. For example I cant make a gold selling site that sells gold and runescape accounts by saying I am selling the work I put into gathering the materials not the gold itself. If I could you better believe that the owners of those sites would have lawsuits up in Jagex face for stealing their work (via bans). I wasn't talking about the value of the work done in the court case, but I was talking about the value of the work done for the person himself.

Summoning Locations/Trade-In Corrections
If they did not already get them from someone else those are missing indeed.

Summoning Locations/Trade-In Corrections
I can repost the pics here :) (If any other crew member needs them too) [hide] [/hide]

Summoning Locations/Trade-In Corrections
Just a note, I was (recently) asked by a crew member to give him that information (pouches and scrolls) and I gave it (from lvl 39 and higher) So unless you got information about 38 or lower they already got it ;)

Woodcutting Urns
It is clear, it is written at the calculator: "The XP value listed for an urn is equal to the amount of XP needed to fill it, plus the XP bonus awarded for teleporting the urn. For example, you will need to cut 800 XP worth of logs to fill a cracked woodcutting urn, and teleporting it will award 160 XP, for a total of 960 XP."

how do ppl on highscores wit 60 dung have rapiers?
Maybe if they were wielding it when their stats got rolled back? IDK, are you sure you are not confusing it with the rapier you get from that pirate place? I thought jagex fixed that so that they would unequip if you don't have the stats for it by login. So that would only be possible if there stats would be rolled back and they would not have been logged out.

Rule-breaking and the role of a fansite
Disagree, Jagex couldn't detect a bot if it was sat in a random for 4 weeks clicking the same spot. Omali, welcome to my signature. Never said anything about detecting... I said punishing. Jagex already receives countless reports from players about botting. They are just unwilling to punish paying accounts. So if the authorities are unwilling to punish them we should all do it? It still doesn't make the world better. And I don't think Jagex is unwilling, do you have any source (facts) where you got that unwilling from?

What are the odds of getting a third age item.
those two rates cannot be compared. Every time you do a level 3 clue scroll you get 1/100k-1/1m chance to get a third age item. You don't have 1/280k-1/576k chance to get hit by lighting every time you leave the house. It is most likely a year or a life based.

Because they are testing it, most likely to see the interests and to find the biggest bugs.

World Queueing and Instances - 21-Jun-2011
I find it a bit strange that they don't put this update on the main page. Maybe to not lagg the instances? But they are great updates, should be a main update instead of the royal update...

Rule-breaking and the role of a fansite
So you say that because there are to many bots we should give everyone the information how to bot to get even more bots? That is like making a website how to break into a house because there are already to many people doing that. The main problem about bots is not that they skill easier then you do, the problem is that they screw up the economy (dbones, essence etc. and ofc. the value of golden coins) and when people want to do something like mining (at f2p), or frost dragons (p2p) they have to compete against 5-20 bots. This takes away the fun for not botters. Creating more bots does not solve the problem that there are to much bots, as simple as that.

rush dungeons till floor?
Since I don't have unlocked 30 floors I can't rush the first 30 ;) About finding a team, I don't want to, simple because I like doing dungeoneering solo (and since I am using ranged, you wouldn't want someone using ranged [no hexhunter] in your team would you?) I also want to play when I start and don't want to search for a team and I sometimes have the problem that I have to be afk for 10 minuts (doing nothing). I don't want a debate on soloing and ranging, I just want to know which floors are best to rush when soloing. If you say the first 30 floors, do you mean that at your level you think rushing the first 30 floors is best? Thanks for all the advice :)

Abberant Specter Champion scroll broken Image
Wotmania505, This is most likely browser specific, what browser and what version of that browser are you using (Firefox I think?) ? If you are using an older version does it fix the problem if you upgrade to the newer one? Also try using Safari and see if it happens to (I see you are using a mac). Also I think this is happening because the picture is taking the size of the text of the item for some kind of reason.

Update pictures for mining/ woodcutting guides needed
I think that all the old minining ores has been updated to the new ones (instead of leaving half of them normal like they did with the previous update) So you only have to show one ore now.

iron dragon drop
They are earth talismans ;) Btw can we get a sticky or something about the ROW update? I am getting bored about seeing posts about the new rare drops and having to debate to some people that they are also dropped when not wearing a ROW. (no offence to you monkeyanniee but I see those posts everywhere ;) ) Thanks for adding the drop to the database howlin :D

New Frost Dragon Drop [Confirmation needed]
Actually you can obtain them without a ring of wealth, it has never been stated by jagex that you can not get it without a ROW, those items are on the same drop table as the old drop table (thus making the drop table bigger) As a matter of fact check my iron dragon topic about 29 earth talismans (of the new drop table) where my ROW doesn't shine. Oh and btw if you come with the argument that runescape wiki said it, check the main rare drop table of runescape wiki, remember that runescape wiki has many mistakes.

New Frost Dragon Drop [Confirmation needed]
There is no ROW only drop, the ROW only increases the chances to get the drop.
