08-Mar-2011 Artisans Workshop
Someone should feel special. Yeah I am wondering who that person is. Btw I am hoping for a Nex2, thus that this update is going to get rewards at the end of the month. Or that we get a real revamp in a few months.

200M in all Skills
I am getting irritated to see these posts at nearly every page... discussing how to train a skill efficiently to 200mil xp is what also belongs to this thread...

DevBlog 7th March - The Clan Camp
it is a nice way to cover up experimenting NPC animations and testing the new trees and other graphics, other than that it gets deserted in 2 weeks (at least at members)

Future Update Discussions
There was some post about a developer wanting to update those armours, but he had a different project going on or something else.

Um - is RWT not reportable any more?
... and yet people get muted for such infractions all the time -- or used to. Case in point. My brother-in-law plays as well. One evening, he went down into the Dust Devil's and forgot his facemask. He died and lost some reasonably valuable gear. He was so embarrassed at himself for doing such a noobie thing that, when he was trying to explain to another player where his valuable gear went, he lied and told a story that his son had been on his account and lost the gear. That player reported him for account sharing. He was muted and received a "black mark". He should have read the rules and know account sharing is against the rules. And being honest with himself, dying on a game happens... WAT? On the parent centre, it used to encourage parents to play with their children under 13. Is macroing still reportable? Playing WITH your children at runescape at the same time is legal on runescape, but you playing at one time and your kid at some other time is not. @sirl There was some teenager being arrested because she said on twitter that she was planning a bomb attack on her school (which was quite obvsly a joke) and I think jagex can check your account and history to see if what you said was true.

Your take on DIY?
I am a DIYer, always getting comments on why i play so inefficiënt when i ask for help:p though i would buy a whip before getting 85 slayer, because what would I have to spend my money on? I don't buy skills. And i use MTK for herbs and maples and flax (maples and flax for fletching).

Um - is RWT not reportable any more?
Yeah - I selected "encouraging others to break the rules" or whatever the wording is ... For some strange reason, I would swear that there used to be a "Real World Trading" button in the report screen, though I may be and probably am wrong. I think if it was there it is been deleted because of people "thinking" someone was RWTing. most likely people reporting everyone who seems to rich to be true...

Did You Know...
GoodMagic and EvilMagic* There was also GoodPrayer and EvilPrayer Slayerbelle was the first account to get Untrimmed Slayer cape. It was started by the account Villandra (13th person to achieve 99 slayer if I remember correctly). She then created the account Summonbelle to achieve untrimmed Summoning but stopped half way (forgot the reason). Eventually she did become the first Untrimmed Summoning cape owner in rs under the account Lorica. Finally she began the account Ellesbreyals to achieve her most difficult goal of 99 Slayer with 10 hp (Making over 2bil merching on the way with this account). Her latest goal now is an account called Stinkerbelle in which she will achieve 99 slayer with only melee keeping all other stats at level 1 and doing no quests. Despite common misconception, Zezima lost his #1 ranking in rs for a brief period against N0valyfe. Snake Slava was the first person to achieve 99 range in RS. He was briefly banned when Jagex mistaked his English-Russian translator as a bot. It was heard that he brought his computed to Jagex HQ in order to prove his innocence and started a brand new account called Snake Slavik and accomplished the same achievement of 99 range as the 2nd person in RS. Lilyuffie88 accomplished an achievement that was considered next to impossible when she reached 99 prayer in 2004 briefly after the release of RS2. At the time 99 prayer was considered impossible due to the fact that you were not able to buy noted bones, there was no gilded altar and that there was no ectofunctus. Until RS2's release you had to buy your bones 29 at a time and bury them individually in order to train prayer. During RSC and the beginning of RS2, fletching was considered one of the best money makers in RS. In fact, manufacturing skills did not become unprofitable until after the release of GE as well as Skill Capes. To add: Lilyuffie88 had at one time more xp then zezima had (but zezima had more total levels)

Account with negative credit.
sorry my mistake ;)

Account with negative credit.
I guess thats one of Jagex's newer measures to hinder bots/not lose credit cards: 1 reversed payment (which they are charged for and hence lose money) and you are bannzored from using credit cards It is not new, has been there for at least a year
-
Did You Know...
Did you know that you can teleport from shantay pass to port sarim by getting trown in jail and then not pay 5 coins? (not sure if it is still f2p, it was a few years ago)
-
Account with negative credit.
Most likely he first paid with credit card and then something happened that caused that the payment got reversed. That is also the reason why you can't use credit card to pay it of.

Luring
An easy anti-lure for the noted items that have a high high alch value, just bring a few high alchs with you and high alch one (or two without prayer) of the 4 items

Massive decrease in world population since update..

01-Mar-2011 - Elemental Workshop IV
I think you've got a good point about Astral. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Blood (red) and Nature (green). Being the fashionista I am, I love new clothes! <3:  It would be a good point if it wasn't for the small fact: There is already an astral door in the corridor and as seen in the chaos puzzle this guy knows about astral runes. Plus if we assume a full set to come we have: Legs, Ring, Amulet, Weapon, Cape. Runes remianing: Astral, Nature, Law, Death, Blood 5 items to set, 5 runes left. And the upcoming belt slot?

Behind the Scenes - March
best month ever :) Just hoping the smithing update is better then what they are saying... I was hoping that smithing would become my fav skill again... (dungeoneering, summoning are above it, slayer as equal)

If you don't like quests, why bother having a quest cape? Shouldn't a cape be for something you enjoy doing? Don't want to do quests, don't do them? I'm a completionist. Then you should go trough it and enjoy the fuzzy warm feeling you have completed it :)

Dungeoneering ranged
That is not a word in my language (and google only gives me gaming results). And from wikipedia: "In the workplace, perfectionism is often marked by low productivity as individuals lose time and energy on small irrelevant details of larger projects or mundane daily activities." Altough you have a point, I am only a bit perfectionistic. And maybe the word perfectionist is not exactly the same in english as in dutch, maybe the dutch version includes the completionist you speak of ;) But w/e we should stop arguing about the meaning of a word, you got the point I was trying to make ;)

Dungeoneering ranged
@Katori Thanks for explaining what I meant by me being a perfectionist, couldn't have done that better myself. Also thanks for the information about dungeoneering :) again, again, again...(yeah, i can keep repeating this forever) Efficiency doesn't exclude fun. If you think that you are a moron. Most of the efficient dungeoneering teams have been fun, while soloing is extremely boring. You are also missing an important community aspect of dungeoneering when soloing, so you might reconsider those views. I never said that, I said this: It is better to have fun while being less efficient then to dislike it. that means that if you don't have fun while being efficient it is better (my opinion) to be less efficient.
