i'm almost positive I'd say Dream Theater if I actually listened to them... I guess Trivium gets my vote here, since Metallica's latest follies have pushed them to the lowest depths of suckage.

Or more likely, people making it into a bigger deal than it really is. I don't think people expect their $60 game discs to get scratched this easily. If thats not a big deal, then nothing is.

Dont all CD playing devices say not to move it once its playing something? If you did and got a scratched disk then its your own fault. The recall notice was for ages ago and as far as im aware none actually spontaniously combusted just made burn marks where they got so hot. Don't look at me, I don't even own one. Yeah, Pest Control. Even I have no idea what the specifics are with that. I would assume most players haven't tapped into its benefits. Besides, getting a skill to 40ish can be done overnight, that adds up quickly. Having a "high" skill total holds considerably less weight than good combat.

Its alot easier to get a higher skill level. Most skills can be bought. But combat, generally, cannot. Getting good att/str/def/hits levels pretty much takes alot of sweat and blood. I respect someone for a higher combat more than having 1500 or so skill total.

Almost as bad as the 360 scratching CDs beyond use if you lay the console down from the upright position while its running :-w

I really wouldn't consider strapping young lad death metal...In Flames is a great poster-child for the genre, however.

Lamb of God hardly belongs in this categorization. They're a bit too generic IMO. The rest seems good. Add Norther, Kalmah, and Skyfire to this list.

I (personally) think that it's important for us to eat meat to keep ourselves healthy. Wrong. Whether or not a band is underrated is not determined by how big their fanbase is. Please don't confuse popularity with the above. I happen to think Thin Lizzy is a very underrated band, yet is there a single rock fan that hasn't heard of them? Although I admit that I worded that wrong, I'm not taking my statement back. Amount of underrativity falls when popularity rises, and visa-versa. I'm not saying they're directly related, but if a band is popular, they generally aren't underrated.

Exactly, I think ANY band that performs @ Ozzfest should be expunged from this thread. Replies on these forums cannot be quite compared to popularity of a band. For example, if here's like 10 fans of some superunderground band, it still doesn't mean that the band they love is popular everywhere else. And still, it's all about what do you count as underrated. Some band might be very popular but maybe it SHOULD be even more popular. Underrated= Not well known = Not very popular. If a band is well known, they obviously aren't underrated.

Just don't try to cram the idea down our throats (no pun intended haha). We'll eat what we want. Vegetarians don't bug me at all, as long as I'm not forced to hear their rants about how the rest of us are animals.
